Maybe that the fact of having so many of these fake  translators  "working" together on same project, wasn't just a coincidence..
Petchains ICO seems more fake than fights on WWF wrestling.  Grin

Yeah mate this guys need a creative photo editor to change their fake team photographs nicely. Maybe those guys are looking for another couple of stolen identity to start their new project. But they should keep on mind that this forum is not their place to attemp fraudlent activities anymore.

Last 1 years many users put their best efforts to reveal these kind of scam project. I personally salute them for their great activities. Its not only keeping worldwide crypto investor safer but also increasing our forum best in the world.

Agree with Coinlocket$. I was just thinking in the opposite.   Will work on a  Scam Translation List and provide access to bounty managers. Sooner or later, with the combined effort of all of us, cheaters wont get any single token for their "work".
That's going to help bounty managers to choose right person for distributing rewards. where in every campaign those guys try to list multiple alt accounts to get big amount of tokens. Scam translation list gonna reveal those kind of fraudulent activities.

Can someone create a list of trustworthy translators?

There is no point to do so, they will simply change accounts when they will be busted so having a list, in my opinion, is not so helpful.

I posted on many local boards, and seems that people is really interested and help finding cheaters.

ANother message received (thanks Mitsos2017, Lafu, 1miau, and the rest of you that have been helping so far) with probable alt account involved.. will take a look on this later, as today i am literally buried under work.

Hi ChiNgadOr,
congratulation for your success.
There is one more connected to Greek translation:

ArifBestari - https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/arifbestari-517558

He has the same portfolio (and telegram name) with mazzer. Check the links.

mazzer - https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/mazzer-1543528

ArifBestari's application for translation Bounty
-------> https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.47868033

Mazzer's application for translation Bounty
--------> https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.49220610

And something more.

There is an other translator - cheater: greekcomunity -
https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/greekcomunity-2392558

He was translating into Greek till October '18, when he was revealed by two members of the Greek community:

LINK: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.46637880

He disappeared last October then ArifBestari appeared. When ArifBestari was banned, mazzer appeared, and now after the revealing, he is applying again for new translation bounties:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11CZB_pfSH1Qa9N3ykG8FpyT8SNanR9626AKxI-UZrqc/edit#gid=1148612699

I think he is connected with the above mentioned and the rest cheaters.

Can you check it with your ETH addresses?
Thank you and congratulations again.

Very nice catch guys! I've joined your red trust party, mrben77 was reported by aundroid and Lafu in the German local board but I didn't know how big their abuse was until I saw your report. I think they'll come back and buy Copper Members, so let's follow this closely.  Smiley

@lafu can you check if this one is using google translate?

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ny0O8uzTr4Shf3qyRTnrmQd8PGtGuAaB
If you need one more confirmation: it's definitely not a legit translation and even Google Translate would do a better job.  Cheesy

We note every ANN- abuser of the German section in a big list, feel free to have a look at it if some of them are also active in your local board. Usually, I start tagging them after 3 fake translations to give them some benefit of doubt.
Most of them are devs just spamming their automated translated projetcs in every local board, it's a waste of time to tag devs because they'll do it only once. But the list is very useful to detect bounty abusers. Here you go: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.39318850

Thanks one more time ;Coinlocket$,  for your support

I've looked at to monchico post history and It seems to have no relationship with the other scammers even on the airdrop bounty where @monchico posted I've not found the other account from OP.

I will try to look more and I will post if I find something but for now IDK what magix was trying to do, maybe stealing stacks?

I have been trying to look deeper, Monchico seems innocent. Anyway, seems that spanish moderator saw my message on reputation section, and after this, he took a close look on Monchico's past works and deleted many of his  threads for his poor/automatic translations. In fact was moderator of spanish board, who warned me about possible connection Monchico-Magix (thanks Franckuestein!).

as said previously..i think Magix realized that the other translator (Monchico) wasnt active anymore, so he tried to apply as if was himself with another name+ETH.. I really dont understand how he tried to make that (as a serious bounty manager should have found he was applying with a bitcointalk username different from his own).. maybe this strategy worked before with another bounty manager that didnt care too much about verifying the works..

I have seen in the past few ICOs were i warned their managers about translation scammers and they not only didnt do anything against it, but also banned me for asking about this issues in bounty channel. On that date I didnt knew about Reputation section.. but i would come back to these guys, writing another post called "lazy bounty managers that dont give a f*ck about our work and kick our ass if we think about placing a complaint".

fuc**ng amazing how you achieved all these proofs on your previous posts.. these also made you spent a huge a mount of time, just to help community. Thank you very much..

Expect a new group of accounts that will do the same thing to evade the red trust.

Keep the thread open, I think they will back soon.

In the last posts of this user "Magix" (https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/magix-153647) you can see, that he applied using another username "Monchico" (https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/monchico-1882791) as spanish translator.
You can see this for example here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.48133658

I have been trying to connect both accounts, but i am not sure if they are really connected. At leats, Monchico didnt used the ETH used by MAgix. Dont know if there is other way to check it.. that is why i ask for HELP of you COINLOCKET$ and the PROs of the forum.. is far away from my capabilities.

I checked that last post of Monchico is from November 2018 (last active 4th jan), so maybe the scammer just was too smart, realized this Monchico wasnt active anymore, and tried to take advantage from his previous reputation.

It is suspictious or casuality that Monchico applied in a campaign https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5071168.20 with the rest of fake translators, 2 hours after them.

The cheater's Hunt keeps moving forward!

----

By the way, it could be all more easier and efficient if bounty managers put some effort, reporting the cheater propperly in reputation section (after a red flag is raised), instead of just selecting another translator and forget.
Here we can see how the moderator of bitcointalks french section warned about the french scammer 3 months ago!!!

Well.. sumarizing: it seems that the head of the cheat was a guy from Sri Lanka..  The one called "Waru", that applied as SInhalense translator. He was  (apart from applying to translations with his group of fake alts) working as bounty manager.. I really cant imagine how much crypto he could have been stealing in the past, to honest bounty hunters (not just translator, but I suppose he also could have been manipulating tokens in spreadsheets in the past).
At least now the business is over for him! all accounts red tagged, and fired as manager.
thanks to the collaboration of all of us... The Bitcointalk's angels  Grin

ps:
If you, scammer,  can read this: you can try to do it again.. i will be keeping an eye on YOU!
hope karma kicks your ass, for having  scammed so many honest people in the past

Turkish Translator
Here is how they did not even hesitate to open google translate ANN topics:

These accounts chose to create topics in less spoken local forums not to get caught...

brahmaputra's hebrew Eraswaptoken ANN: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bountyito-eraswaptoken-only-4-weeks-upto-2-million-est-5088095

mazzer's greek Eraswaptoken ANN: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bountyito-eraswaptoken-only-4-weeks-upto-2-million-est-phase-2-5088703

varandas's Italian Simplybrand ANN: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-ico-simplybrand-ecosystem-il-potere-di-blockchain-ai-e-crowdsourcing-5074564

mitterman's Dutch Simplybrand ANN: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=507398844

bendani's Danish Cubrix ANN: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-cubrix-cube-matrix-online-networks-5089234

you can see here that https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;threads;u=153647;sa=showPosts Magix account was for sure bought from someone as it has no activity after 2016 and it spoke Spanish.

As for Whitepapers, almost all accounts translated same projects, for example Oretoken:

Natives can here easily check how terrible these translations are..

brahmaputra (hebrew) Oretoken whitepaper: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Nn7jPgIV3z2D4TmN1eDsx8cJZf8u_aCP

varandas (italian) oretoken whitepaper: https://github.com/varand1/Italian-Translations/blob/master/ORET%20Whitepaper%20%20italian.pdf

waru (sinhala)'s porfolio is much bigger: I dont understand how these didnt get caught.. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1yo2Usnv0cJSJ1A91k5__Ahu_EO9OhGdU

bayuvivi (french) oretoken whitepaper: https://github.com/Bayuvivi90/FRENCH/blob/master/Whitepaper%20-%20french%20ORET.pdf

magix (spanish) oretojen whitepaper: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1W5benV352n-Jb9y_9tcq0vFNemtFfn__

All those translator accounts used to have OREToken signature, and they removed it later.

Now magix: https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/magix-153647 (spanish), xiaolin1579: https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/xiaolin1579-184651 (croatian), will_see: https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/willsee-361130 (polish) is using ETHA signature

mazzer: https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/mazzer-1543528 (greek) and rejoin: https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/rejoin-97167 (portuguese) is still using OREToken signature and

waru: https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/waru-1232324 (sinhala) changed to SOVREN.

Wow, thanks OP and all contributors for such a great work. I am a translator myself, I also help with conducting bounties and already banned a few names from that list in my current ongoing bounty - otherwise the scammer would probably go through (and lets be honest, not always a proofreader is available).

In case of any questionable Polish translations, feel free to PM me anytime to get an opinion from native :-) !

Terminated.
Tagged all accounts that were in OP. Could you please keep updating the main list whenever new accounts are found by someone? Also someone should look into whether they've received merit and from who (if they have the time).
