This guy has really lost faith in mastercoins.

i guess it's better for the long run.
less than 50 people holding 75% of the total MSC is not "healthy".
there must be a better way than a 1 month IPO.
early adopters should get an advantage but the way MSC and NXT started is far from optimal.

It'll work itself out. I've wrangled my way into the top 50 and I bought zero from the exodus address.

Those 2 addresses, if not the same guy, have been fighting to dump their coins. Bad news is they are only half way done. They have another 6.5k to dump.

Firesale!  Ol' rottenchris has been dropping prices last two weeks.  What's up rottenchris?  Does your mom have cancer?

WTF?
Keep his crazy ass on ignore. I think he is bi-polar or something.

Or is just trying to get a good ROI. Mastercoin seems like a sinking ship lately compared to competitors. You will notice when eMunie presale starts this week, exodus investors are going to be cashing out alot to cash in on eMunie. The price will drop more eating any bid there is.

RUM AND CARROTS: A PIRATE LIFE FOR ME
January 07, 2014, 02:50:25 PM
The volume has been low for a few days now and didn't get lower when the promotion ended so it appears it doesn't have much influence for now.
Is it possible that the fee will change automatically based on trading volume? – Just an idea.
I think it is very important to incentives trading. When the volume is so low the exchange losses its main advantage.

Selling 60 MSC @ 0.2 (small amounts are ok)

Maxmint as escrow - pm me if interested.

no withdraw time, No fees     Wink

Except the market volume is very low. Lots of people have mastercoins but, like myself, are waiting for the ecosystem to be more stable before even starting to think about trading them. Low trading fee's are the last thing I'm worried about. Thats for Bitcoin/litecoin volume. Right now 0% commission would change nothing. If I understand correctly the exchange isn't 100% autonomous, nor fast, so it would just mean more work for free for the exchange owner.

The chinese exchanges spoiled the community on 0% fee's but people need to try and make a profit to at least cover their hosting and time.

"The promotion is ended and we now charges our regular 0.9% fee upon trades".

Trade volume is really low. I don’t think the higher fee is the cause but it sure does not help.

DarkEmi i still hope you will reconsider.

Exactly, trading volume is extremely low again.
Reconsider to change it.

After being ripped of from buymastercoin.com I'm more than happy to pay 0.9%. Can't understand that you complain about it. Keep it up DarkEmi, your work is very important.

They haven't noticed the change to 0.9%.
It seems they do now. I hope someone else or any exchange is accepting MSC very soon.

What about the orders already posted?  Do those orders escape the increased fees?  Does the new fee schedule apply to orders posted - or just to the newly posted orders?

Fees will be applied when the order is executed.

Why bother pissing people off now?  Why not run the exchange with no fees until there is raging volume and EVERTONE always trades on that exchange - and then sock it to them?  I for one won't be posting any more orders there.
