MST shot up in price today due to this very confusion, lot of noobs think it's the same coin, those buying 1000+ coins think they just made jackpot by buying cheap MasterCoin Cheesy
I think someone should inform cryptsy to clarify this confusion.
Yes it's a situation that's not good for everyone involved.

Let's face it, if they don't perform their due diligence it is just too bad.  When making an investment, you should know some minimal amount of information about what you are investing in.  If you didn't study Mastercoin enough to know what distinguishes the two, then you deserve the loss.

A fool and his money will soon be parting.

Getting a good return on initial investment is not "scamming" or "quick flipping". I'm already 10x my original investment and now have the other half of my Msc holdings, which I will not touch until we reach what I consider our true potential.

I'm set for life regarding this investment now. I have already made ROI (and then some). If the project comes to it's feet (as it appears it will) we'll all be better off. If by some crazy accident everything crumbles or we lose the race to another 2nd layer project (seriously seriously doubt it), then all's good too.

Put down all the justifications you like, you sold too early and you are already expressing your regret publically.  No big deal.  You can fix the problem easily.  Just buy back today at .25.  In a few months, that will all be up at .6 or .7.

'set for life'?  Unless you are one of the top 3 investors in MSC, I seriously doubt that - unless you've got a very low idea of 'life'.

Why are there 2 mastercoins? I mean why do they want to both share the same names?? http://com-http.us/ccdir/mst/
One is a ridiculous bunch of nonsense and the other is an interesting project with potential.  It is not hard to figure out which is which.

This constant source of confusion is unfortunate. I refer to MSC as Mastercoin-Exodus to differentiate it from MST, the alt coin.

wow the demand shot up after being listed on coinmarketcap. I feel silly having sold majority of my stake few days before.

I sold 49% so I could say I kept the majority, but I gotta tell you I'm guessing I feel just like you.
Guys who are trying to make a quick profit are going to get killed here.  Go play with Dogecoin.  That kind of nonsense is perfect for scamming newcomers out of their money.  Mastercoin is a different situation entirely.  Mastercoin is not suitable for a quick flip to easy profits.

Ok DGulari/Tkeenan. Good to know. Anything else I should know from the unofficial Mastercoin dual-sock?

I can now happily and patiently root for MSC's growth without the burden of knowing my life's saving depend on it. Measure your words before you speak. As much as you think you do, you don't know everything.

Hi Guys ..

Quick question with regardds to MSC ..
I've got a MultiBit 0.5.15 wallet on my desktop and an account at Coinbase ..
Are either of those options viable for holding MSC ( assuming I can buy some ?? )

I repeat I would like to do this for Mastercoin too.
Just do it.  You don't need our permissions.  You don't need 'donations'.  Charge a fair fee and quit begging.

I you want to support this initiative, I accept any kind of donations. No matter how much you send, it will help cover expenses and give me some motivation.

My address for MSC or BTC is: 1EcPG7m4Rn4Md7auVNRtzrrqHfCD5ATd18

Thank you in advance!

You joined bitcointalk on November 30, 2013 and in most of your posts you ask for donation and don't show actual advancements.
When you start showing more proof of your project i might help with a donation.

Here you have. I didn't want to post any screenshots yet because the design is awful and in a couple of days I was receiving my graphic designers work as I explained in my first post. Here is the Quarkcoin Marketplace I am working on:

Still needs some work but coding is almost finished. I repeat I would like to do this for Mastercoin too.

Thank you for your support.
