BuyMastercoin.com is now available for sale. We have decided to move on to other Mastercoin projects, and can no longer operate the service due to time constraints.

The website is going as strong as ever before as we receive nearly 1000 unique visits each week, dozens of emails, and orders everyday. Much of this is thanks to our strong web presence and being on the first page of google for most anything mastercoin related. Additionally we have a subscriber base of 500 Mastercoin users which is growing every day. We have full google analytics since day one.

We have processed many thousands of MSC in orders, and while the market has been very volatile and non-liquid, we were still able to help nearly everyone to get mastercoins easily and there by help introduce new people to Mastercoin. Now that the market is more well established, we are hoping someone will leverage our huge influx of targeted traffic and existing subscriber base to help grow this great mastercoin community. Unfortunately we do not have the time to do so, however we are already working on other great Mastercoin projects.

If you are interested in the domain and for more information, please PM or email us on our website with an offer. Thank you.

Mastercoin is dead.  Completely over.  WTF?
i would not worry too much.
it was a drop with very low volume.

The market has absorbed 92K BTC in volume, back to .1 BTC/MSC. I'm curious to know what triggered the sell-off, but equity markets remind me of the ostrich farm I visited, where the flock will just all suddenly stampede for no apparent reason, stop as suddenly as they started, mill around a bit, then suddenly all stampede again, repeating the cycle every 15 minutes or so.

One thing I can think of is people preparing to diversify into Ethereum. Overall news from MSC project itself has been good lately. NXT and Protoshares, the other closest competitors to Ethereum have also seen some sell off lately, just not to the extent of MSC. It looks like a lot of money will be finding its way into Ethereum when the pre-sale opens. There's also the global conventional markets sell-off, so maybe there's been an overall flight to safety out of the crypto markets.
I decided to invest 1 year AFTER the IPO, probably when people will sell Eth like they sell MSC now...

Yes, if you agree about fixing the price of a techology just on a tiny market run buy a random (no offense) since 3 month.

For me, it's a bit simplistic.

Before all bounty are gone, the price some speculator (no offense) put on it doesn't really matter.

Nothing to worry about as it takes a whooping 400 msc sell to bring the price down to 0.00001 btc.

I found just https://masterxchange.com/
Is there any other places?

http://mcoin.io

Anyone explain to me why a sell order on the mcoin exchange doe NOT have a "Buy Now" button?

Any help appreciated!

Thanks
Stew
Its not prefunded

Oh, interesting, how does one prefund it?  I have the master coins in the master exchange.....

Thanks!

I expect there will be depressed prices while people want to diversify from MSC to Ethereum. The NXT bubble from being newly listed on a major exchange also still has to play out (currently in a head and shoulders pattern). MSC seems to be cycling between .1 and .25 BTC/MSC in a very thin market, but could also be in a head and shoulders. 13,000 MSC is still only about 2% of the total MSC issue.

edit: Wow, that was fast, I was answering Patel's post, now it's gone

I've been speaking to a friend about the different technologies being built around bitcoin and he has decided to put an investment into Mastercoin as part of his crypto portfolio. I am facilitating this purchase as he is not familiar with the technical aspects of transferring MSC, etc.

Looking to purchase 1000 msc at market price (0.14btc per msc). That's 140btc so escrow will be required. We could also arrange making the trade on masterxchange.com. I will accept trades of smaller amounts or if an individual is looking to take some profits and sell the whole amount that would be great.

Please PM me to discuss.

I dont think you will be able to buy 1000MSC for 0.14BTC.
If you check the existing sell orders at masterxchange you are at 0.22BTC/MSC if you buy until 1000 MSC.

There is much more potential MSC on the exchange. If you buy small quantities by small quantities, I am certain pontential sellers will refill the orderbook.

Anyone can see publicly that there is 13000 MSC on our address
