This is actually good news haha, I don't buy into the McGregor hype yet I don't feel like pulling the trigger on Mayweather just. With such photos surfacing into socials network it will just keep money pouring in for McGregor, I sure hope we I can get Floyd -400 or below its what Im targeting for what could be one of the biggest bet I've ever made (I want to pull the trigger but its a hefty price to pay too, so Im juggling with the idea haha)

You guys having price in mind on where you would pull the trigger on Floyd? Im not asking about McGregor backers because that ship as sailed a long time ago, so much value lost for those entering right now on McGregor IMO.

Conor may be good at MMA but he isn't in boxing. He must have forgot that Floyd is one hell of a fast guy and can decide to engage quickly and move out swiftly like he always did to most of his fights. Its a cowardly move but definitely a style of his own.
-> Connor isn't a boxer and that is why it is going to work in his favour.
-> You don't understand a simple logic,Connor might have watched every single boxing game of Mayweather and studied his style and his moves. On the other end,Mayweather doesn't know jack shit about Mcgregor's boxing moves since he hasn't disclosed any!
->Now who has more chances of winning ? The player who knows and have studied other player's game or the player who has no idea what other player's game is like ?

Malignaggi Quits as McGregor's Sparring Partner After Photo Leak

Former two division world champion Paulie Malignaggi has had enough with UFC superstar Conor McGregor.
Malignaggi, who retired earlier this year, was hired by McGregor to serve as a sparring partner in his ongoing training camp for the upcoming boxing match with Floyd Mayweather Jr. (49-0, 26 KOs).
But on Thursday, controversy erupted after several photos from their most recent sparring session, which took place on Wednesday, began to surface on the social networks.

If you focus only on the photos, it would appear that Malignaggi was knocked down and given a proper beating during the spar.
But Malignaggi claims the photo where he was down on the mat - was actually the result of a push. He also says McGregor's team released selective photos to create the appearance that McGregor had dominated their sparring session.
Malignaggi confirmed to ESPN that he's quitting McGregor camp and is likely flying back home to New York.
"I wanted to be part of this event, but I didn't want to become the story and that's what this has turned into," Malignaggi told ESPN. "I won't release any information about his game plan or what he's working on -- I wouldn't do that. But this has become a fiasco. It's a circus. And I do want that sparring video released. The UFC's PI definitely has that video. I understand it can't come out now, but Conor, if you have any balls, release what really happened."
"There was a pushdown yesterday. Conor on the inside, he can get a little rough. He shoved me down, you know, but no knockdowns. Obviously, 12 rounds, you're gonna see there's a mark on my face. Very, very hard work for both of us. I was starting to get in a groove in the middle rounds, starting to land some good shots. Conor really came on strong in the end. It was back and forth."
McGregor will make his pro boxing debut against Mayweather, who returns from a two year retirement, on August 26th from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

both men Floyd Mayweather and Connor Mcgregor are good in each own discipline but the victory depends on which ring will they fight. but this fight favors on the ring of Mayweather's expertise - the boxing ring. There's no doubt that Mayweather would win unanimously and not even a close fight. Mcgregor has no chance to beat Mayweather in the boxing unless otherwise they fight in the octagon.

The only way an mma fighter can defeat a boxer is by putting him to sleep. Connor has power in his punches but floyd's defense is quite at a level unlike any other boxer. He's been against a lot of heavy punchers already yet he hasn't been knocked out. I'm quite curious as to how mcgregors camp would try to do this and if they can do it but unless floyd gets ko'd, its a running and hugging win for money.
I heard people are saying in the past as well that Manny should hit Mayweather hard to win, I guess it will be a hard job for Connor to put Mayweather to sleep because he is an active boxer who knows the right timing to hit and run. I would not deny that I believe Floyd is the smartest man in boxing history although I am not a fan of him but he clearly shows what boxing is.
Expect it from Mayweather since that is his style. Punch then step back and cover. Floyd maybe the smartest man but among those legendary boxer, he is the most boring fighter because of his style.

I'd like Conor to win this fight. His fighting spirit to face Mayweather eventhough he's an MMA fighter, every haters of Floyd love that. I wanted to really see Floyd loss. Hope Conor can beat him.

You have to be on the shoes of Mayweather. He is taking the biggest risk, by putting his entire legacy on the line with this fight. He is now 40+, and he could be retired, but he did this to break the 49-0 record. He can't take too many risks. In a fight people can always get a lucky punch, he must guarantee Conor McGregor doesn't get lucky, so I expect him to be defensive as always. He will throw some good punches on Conor tho... don't forget Mayweather's skill and accuracy is one of the best ever.

That's why initially I thought that Mayweather would not take this fight because of this risk on his legacy. But I guess when money talks everybody listen. Its all about the money. But I think this is one of the easiest fight for Mayweather and bigger payday that's why he is risking it all. He will retire undefeated and may considered as the greatest in the future. (But it will still up for debate). So for those who don't want to buy the tickets because its expensive, then streaming for free will be the best choice for us.

he will again do the chicken dance like what he did to pacquiao
Why do people call it a chicken dance?
People should have realized that its currently (if not the best) one of the best boxing style ever.
It look not so cool for Mayweather, but being cool doesn't bring the victory.
Mayweather is the best defensive fighter in the world but is it the best boxing style ever,i really do not think so. Mayweather is a boring fighter and that is a fact, the only positive advantage McGregor has is his youth and the unorthodox style as he is not a conventional boxer and Mayweather is a retired fighter and ring rust is an issue for most fighters, except Jon Jones and Dominick Cruz. Grin

McGregor may also be less afraid of getting hit and can compeltely overwhelm Mayweather because of that.
Intense pressure can get the best of anyone.

Only casuals don't like Mayweather. If you are into boxing then you would appreciate his style more. And it is a journey. He was a knockout artist in the past, as he became older he adapted to extend his career and make a ton of money, still undefeated. You can't blame him.

It's exciting to see him dodge everything and outbox his opponents. Everyone wants to see him lose but no one can find the blueprint to get it done.

I've been waiting for this match and it looks like I haven't read any update on social medias regarding their fight.

I saw the Instagram post by Floyd Mayweather and I think it's just an ad work. Grant paid Mayweather a ton of money to make that post advertising their glove brand, he gets a ton of money from a single Instagram post AND he keeps promoting the fight and people talking about it in the meanwhile.

Floyd will do it just for the sake of the money. And look on how he did made money from just posting a single post on his instagram account, easy money.

I don't think they will fight at anything but 10oz gloves. The official rules of Nevada say that you have to wear 10oz at 154lbs, otherwise it's not a proper boxing fight, unless Mayweather can somehow change the rules to make it possible to fight with less oz at that weight.

No one knows, Connor McGregor only need 1 lucky punch and BAM Mayweather will sleep. We never know when the luck is comming, so i think McGregor have a chance to win too on this match. Floyd is really good on defense though, but let's see what can McGregor do when the match come.

I have read in some newspapers that tickets on black market for this fight will go up to 130 000$... I don't know why would price go so high, think that Mayweather will win this easily and wouldn't be so interesting  to watch.

For real? Or those people are part of the ticketing management and promotion and tells the people there that it will come up on that rate? Please show us some screenshot from that newspapers or have some picture of it, everyone here is interested to see those possibility. And right now I haven't seen any stage from this fight.

Would you post a reference. Or just name that newspaper you've read it from.

I think $130000 For a ticket is just too much. Probably because of the hype. But too much still!
No one in the real world would buy these tickets except for celebrities ,it is just a freak show and since Mayweather is running the show expect these sort of crazy prices, they might create some huge records when it comes to PPV ,the only thing about McGregor is that he always delivered what he promised but this being a boxing match i highly doubt this could be the case here.

Yeah only loaded people that want the "been there" badge are going to pay something like that..

@8oz gloves, that may remove some of Mayweathers blocking ability as hes used to bigger gloves. On the other hand, his punches will be much harder.
