I watch Mayweather fights for his technique, it's only casuals that watch the fights to see if he loses or not (that is another exciting aspect but the people that only watch it because of that are clueless casuals)

If you want to see a pure boxing fight then don't miss the Canelo vs Golovkin fight coming soon.
The fight i really wanted to see is Gennady Golovkin Vs Mayweather and i am sure it would be the biggest fight in the history of boxing and i would wage my bet on Gennady Golovkin to win the fight as he is too powerful for Mayweather and i am sure he is smart enough to avoid that and retired and now came back to fight Conor.

I am pretty confident that mayweather will win this fight....am going to bet on it for sure

Of course the pretty boy would not like to tarnish his image and boxing records with a loss but he should watch out for Connor's killer punches. They are lethal enough to daze him.

Mayweather only fights people he knows he can beat (including women). This fight is a joke and anyone who appreciates boxing can see it for what it is. A money making pantomime, thought up by two of the biggest wankers in sport.

I think this is nonsense. I appreciate boxing and I have been boxing myself since I was very young and I always have been a fan of the technical aspect and mastery of Mayweather of the boxing game. Sure this fight is not a "real boxing fight" but sometimes it's cool to see these strange crossover fights and this one is huge due the 2 big personalities. Mayweather is risking a lot more than people ar realizing. He is risking his entire legacy on this fight. Conor McGregor is dangerous and you can't take him for granted even if Mayweather is lightyears away boxing skills wise. This is no walk in the park even if he should win.

Of course I can also appreciate the fight between the two. I'm also a long boxing fan myself. And it's really cool to see them both in the ring squaring it out. Eventhough this is just for the money, I love to see how Mayweather will react to Connor's tactics so its gonna be a helluva fight and the boxing fans will go crazy in this one if Mayweather will got his first defeat. (Actually this is the only reason fans go on his fight, to see him loose). Grin

@TrumpD. Conor might use that to his advantage. Floyd's superiority in the boxing ring may have made him weaker and sometimes it tends to underestimate an opponent which opens him to miscalculations. Remember Anderson Silva vs Chris Weidman 1? That is a good example of how arrogance make you do deadly mistakes in combat sports.
but still even we knew that floyd really got his advantage accordingly the truth behind this fight always for money matters so who knows what gambling gods wants this fight to end? I'm sure for most of us we really consider trying our luck with McGregor and that huge odd will attract more bettors to try it out but the more closer the fight start the more odds been reduce or rise up even more. really needed a lots of time to think about this fight though.

All variables pointing Mayweather to really win this fight. And I agree, this fight is for making money and I think this is the primary reason why we are seeing this fight to happen. I still will not bet until the last minutes because I want to see all the fanfare before the actual fight and of course the odds for Connor to win.

I don't think Mayweather will under estimate Connor, never seen him do that before. We know he is arrogance but he is very careful as well because he is afraid to lose. He wants to retire undefeated.

In boxing we all know that Mayweather has an advantage on Mcgregor since It is like veteran vs newbie even if Mcgregor has a power but can he Hit Mayweather? It might be like pacman vs mayweather fight hit and run boxing.

I wouldn't be so excited until the day of the fight. Basically if it is a strategic type of gambling i would choose mayweather for having a lower odds, tho i would still look on how Conor we be going to fight on the ring and not in the octagon that makes me excited regardless of who would be his opponent.

I would go with McGregor even if they are fighting in the boxing ring ,
I am really looking forward for this match even if Mayweather have the advantage I would still go with McGregor.

I know a guy that has bet $500 on a McGregor win, with a return of $5200, so you can imagine the odds are all in a Mayweather win favored. I have always bet on Mayweather winning and I have been making money thanks to his win for ages, I don't see why this time would be any different. Only thing Conor has on him is age advantage and a small amount of reach, and some height and weight difference f you want to count that too on the equation. I think these are meaningless compared to Mayweather's experience and skill.

Conor must use a weird stance to try to out-awkward Mayweather and catch him with a full punch somehow, if he can't do that then it's over.

Mayweather-McGregor Press Tour to Begin at Wembley Stadium

The press tour for the heavily hyped Floyd Mayweather Jr.-Conor McGregor fight will kick off in London later this month. According to a story posted on The Sun of London’s website Tuesday, Mayweather and McGregor will officially begin promoting their August 26 fight “in two weeks” at Wembley Stadium in London. The date was not specified in the story, but the event will be open to the public at the same venue that drew roughly 90,000 fans for Anthony Joshua’s 11th-round technical knockout of Wladimir Klitschko in their heavyweight title fight April 29. The press conference will mark the first time boxing’s biggest star and the wildly popular McGregor will come face-to-face in public since their fight was announced.

I'm really excited to see this one. This should be fun and entertainment. We will see which one should be intimated or the better trash talker.  Grin

So the week from 17th to 23th is going to be the press release. They are already playing mind games on social media. Also Conor Mcgregor got a big picture of him punching Mayweather in the head on the wall of his training gym.

Let's see how good this visualization technique is against Mayweather..

He is not visualizing this, he believes it is possible. Many times he has proven everyone wrong, maybe this time he will again but this will be the toughest challenge he has taken on. If he wins this fight, will he be one of the greatest ever?
He could be a hall of famer if he beat Mayweather. But that's a tough fight for him. Boxing is just a basic when it comes to MMA. But when you fight in a boxing rules. That's a different story. Mayweather is very illusive fighter. It will tire him chasing Floyd. But I'd like to see these two clowns fight each other. It's a very shameful if Floyd loss this fight. For Connor, i think there's nothing to lose for him.

You are understimating how big these guy's egos are. You think that Conor McGregor, Mayweather or Pacman would geopardize his legacy for money?

They want to win and no amount of money can brainwash them into taking a loss, because long term that's worse for you.

Sure if the match is close judges can be bought to score one way or another but that's not the point. Both fighters want to win at all costs. Top professional boxers will not lose on purpose for money.
Conspiracy?

I've read somewhere 'credible' that there is a sports association or bureau that is built to 'avoid' fixed-games.(just can't remember if it is in a magazine or newspaper.

Mayweather is already at the twilight of his career. Same goes to Pacman. They both have proven themselves so they could just make a money-making game.

Press release in 2 weeks... that will be fun to see. These guys have the biggest egos in the fighting game.

Conor is looking forward to shock the world with a KO, but I think he is a bit delusional and underestimating what he is getting into.
If by any chance McGregor could knock Mayweather out it would be epic, first think you have to understand is Mayweather has seen it all inside the boxing ring,he knows every corner inside the ring,it will be hard to McGregor to impose his skills against him unless Mayweather ignores him completely and start aggressively he might get knocked down.

It's pathetic to see casuals acting like they know more of this match yet didn't even know how and what discipline is going to be followed. It's pretty obvious Connor have very very slim chance of winning. Of course i'll give Connor a puncher's chance.

That was almost the same prediction of analysts to the Pacquiao vs. Horn fight, and the results were not as predicted. In sports, there is always the uncertainty of the outcome. Just like in Gambling, your chance is 90% on winning, yet there are factors that will lead to a loss. The Mafia is there for money-making, etc.

Yes we will predict based on players performance and strength, but I think this match result already decided by Mafia who will win in this game. This is not pure sports bro this completely business. Even players also not play for the company and their team they play for money. We are the idiots love sports and bet for our fav players. Finally, the money will go to mafia and players, and we will get only entertainment and an empty pocket.

Not the Mafia conspiracy thingy again. This is not the 40's-70's where he Mafia has a broad influence on the sports of boxing. No Mafia can do that thing anymore. And yes, they will not let themselves lose for the sake of money. They are winners already, and they hate losing. Look at other boxers who have lost and didn't able to get back to boxing again because the lost has a big impact, psychological wise. (Hatton losing to Pacman).
