This must be the biggest fight in recent history between any fighters.  They have milked this one pretty good for sure.  I have heard both fighters have had training sessions together with eachother.  Seems a bit over friendly but as long as McGregor can knock out mayweather i dont mind.  I assume 90% of people are watching this purely for the chance of a knock out v mayweather.  I would however not be surprised if this whole thing was rigged to make a ton of money. everyone wants to watch it, there is so much money here i dont they want to risk health.
I do not call this the biggest fight in recent history,it is the biggest money grabber in the history of sports without a doubt, everyone who tunes to watch this fight wants to know how the fight will play and the purist will mostly ignore this fight ,the ticket charges are insanely high to even purchase one but how can they rig a fight ,they will have to face legal charges if it is rigged.

So after watching it how do you feel now? to me that looked pretty staged. The agreement went something like this imo - 1.)nobody gets hurt 2.) conor gets to go deep into the the fight etc, past half way but flyod gets to win. 3.) When Flyod starts coming forward thats when conor has to back off and let Flyod dictate.

There is just too much at stake not to rig the fight, its really hard to tell its rigged also, they know this. Follow the money trail.

It was certainly rigged for Floyd to win the fight no matter what he was getting his 50th win and become 50-0. Too much money was on the line and they had to make the fight go into the late stages because of all those people that paid big dollars to get a front row seat. Just imagine it lasted 1 round how pissed all them people would be. Floyd is only about the money anyway and with most of his fights many of them looked scripted for him to win.

Congratulation to mcgregor for making it to 10th rounds with mayweather. We clearly see that this is mayweather's game but mcgregor fought a good match against him. At the end of the match they will end up with huge money. I wonder if mayweather will go to octagon to have rematch with mcgregor but i think it won't happen. Maybe mayweather will retire now.

Fight wasn't rigged, what are you talking about! It was a typical Mayweather fight and result was exactly as expected if McGregor wasn't able to finish him early. The was no way McGregor would have stamina to last 10+ rounds; he punched him self out. Cutting a lot of weight didn't help either, but he did land 100+ punched and by that I'm really surprised. Not surprised by the out come at all.

What exactly is at stake here?
Nothing lol
They get some money whether they win or lose, it's just boxing.
Ofcourse Mayweather won, he's a fucking boxer, McGregor would kill him in an octagon.
Very pleasently surprised by McGregor, he was really good considering he's not a boxer.

Conor looked tired to me by the 2nd round.

Being only 29 and in his prime, Conor should have a good cardio/endurance advantage over an older opponent like Floyd who is pushing 40 years of age.

I'm thinking Conor's fighting career could be over. There are many good athletes in MMA who would run circles around Floyd when it comes to cardio. Conor may no longer be able to compete.

Conner started really well, it impressed everyone, but we all knew who was going to be the winner that night, Im sorry for those who betted on Mcgregor, he did really well for being his first boxing match, but at the end the GOAT won once again. 50-0.

McGregor had some great movement at the start and was angling really well.

Biggest problem for him was not knowing how to defend when Mayweather started pressuring him. He's used to do kicks, takedowns and grappling to defend which is compeletely useless in boxing.

I think lack of experience (both in defense and energy expenditure) got the better of him.

I say Congratulations to Floyd Mayweather for winning against Conor McGregor ! Though, It was rigged  we all knew he was going  to  win.
But for not being  a boxer and only training  for a few months  McGregor went 10 rounds with a guy that  is  supposed to be the best lmfao

I wonder who, among all of boxing experts here in the thread think, would win if McGregor and Nate Diaz were to fight in the boxing ring.  I bet most of you would think it's an easy fight for McGregor.
Of course. McGregor is a better boxer and that's all there's to say. Diaz is a better grappler, but McGregor is a better fighter in general and a better boxer on top of it. If the fight were to start and end on the ground and they were forced to wrestle through it I'd bet on Diaz, in any other cases it's Conor's fight.

Lack of stamina, experienced in boxing, disadvantage, etc. McGregor knew all of that but still kudos to McGregor for being brave and fight Floyd eventhough he ain't a boxer.

Now, the question is, can Mayweather do what Conor did. If Conor challenge him to fight in octagon, will Floyd accept it? Nearly impossible for me.
Totally impossible. It is almost impossible for MMA or kick boxer to fight against boxer under boxing rules, it is different sport, but it is really impossible for boxing champion to fight under even K1 rules, not to talks about fighting under MMA rules.
All the respect to McGregor for his performance, I knew that he has no chance to defeat Mayweather, but he did his best. From the other side, damn, I would fight for 70 milion dollars with who ever it takes.

Exactly as many of us "predicted" McGregor went the distance and the fight was pretty entertaining but when Floyd really started boxing it was over. This sets up a possible rematch where McGregor will state that he'll prepare better and for the little he train he made a great fight. So the hype would be around that narrative "imagine if McGregor trains harder and gets better while Floyd gets a little older".

I hope this doesn't happen really and Floyd can retire in peace but we all know how much these two love money!

There will be no rematch... Mayweather can now sit back and relax in retirement with a 50-0 perfect record that will look great on merchandise (t-shirts etc). He has a billionaire real state portfolio, he has these other side businesses.. this is was it, he's done. You can't ask for a better career than that.

Congratulations to everyone who bet for Mayweather, it was an obvious decision. It has been decided. It was an okay fight, overall, big money.

sadly i bet for mcgregor haha. Lol as expected fight from may weather and even conor can't stand against it. Tho he obviously doing a good job in hitting myweather that hard but realizes when it comes to stamina issues obviously he can't bet mayweather on that.

Yeah... it's different league which McGregor attempt to accept Weather's challenge
Sometimes I'm wondering why this match can be held although we already know the final result can be predict before the match begin
(Cased different if Weathers versus Pacman on 1 match before )

Have Fun )@@( Stay Safe
This was a farce and I am glad it is over with. The UFC and McGregor fans that are saying McGregor did well are the same ones saying he was going to win by KO, suddenly surviving 10 rounds is wonderful. This was a 40 year old Mayweather coming out of retirement and giving away 20lbs. Not a prime Mayweather, not even close.
For sure you will be hearing all these excuses even if McGregor wins, everyone will say that Mayweather is old and so is the reason he was defeated,no one gave Conor a chance in later rounds,if he was to win the fight he had to do it before the first five rounds and he could not and Mayweather just picked him apart and finished him in the tenth round.

How many people won by Mayweather knock out? This was easy money. I wonder what was sportsbooks thingking while giving odds? This is one of the most obvious wins in sports history. McGregor had no chance. Mayweather deserved the win.

That's really a great drama over there mate as we can't say nothing but its a big money which been played from the bookies im sure many haters will cry out and many speculations will raise after this game as we all knew that mayweather will win the fight today.
No drama, just real talk. Well, it was a chance for people that could take knowing that it's 1.22 and 3.84 (if I'm correct) with the bookies and it's just too obvious. I did try but oh well, it's not that McGregor could really win unless like everybody said, it's in the octagon.

I really like McGregor, but I think this was an impossible fight for him. MMA is way to different from boxing. Not talking just about the lack of ground fight or kicks, the moves, the fighting stance, the endurance needed, and so many other things are just to different. I think it was a good fight to watch, but I guess we all knew the winner before the fight even started. It would be fun to watch this fight under mma rules.
I think mcgregor stamina poorly, to a technique used mcgregor didn't different with boxers usually. With these defeats, it can be certain mcgregor just the king in mma not in boxing

Conor let us all down, I thought he could do more than this rather it was all talk and I nearly lost had I agreed with a friend over a possible bet. If he knew he lacked stamina he should have worked on it with his team before entering the ring.

The "bet on a Mayweather win" was always the safe bet, I know a lot of people now that are kicking themselves and still crying about money loses with this one. McGregor is an excellent talker and a lot of people drank his Koolaid.

If he wants to continue in boxing he needs to fix his problems during the mid rounds when it comes to cardio. He looked good in the first rounds, but let's not forget Mayweather is 40 and was inactive, im not sure if it would be a good idea for him to fight the top younger active fighters, I would stay in the UFC unless it was a Malignaggi fight because after all his beef it would sell well and McGregor would have an ever bigger advantage with reach and weight and Paullie is also inactive... I don't think McGregor could last much with GGG or Canelo etc.

And also notice how Mayweather took some big shots and didn't go down, a lot of casuals underrated Mayweather's chin.
