I'm using 4.8 but I'm unable to use version 5.x on both my NVIDIA rigs or AMD rig.
It tells me
No miners!
What am I doing wrong in the config file?

Also, I'm using start.bat with MPH pool only and automatic coin and when I come back later my AMD rig is not mining anymore and is stuck in a loop trying to connect on NICEHASH pool but fails. Why is that happening? Can I delete nicehash.ps1 and it will resolve this?

I got this too. Script is unable to download miners. I downloaded manually using urls from logs. Maybe some firewall, or antivirus issue. On other pc on the same switch it downloaded ok.

On 4.8 the miners downloaded just fine.. I even tried to copy those but same message

same problem here

Backup the nicehash file.

It should work with it, but its much slower and gives errors.

I was using 4.3 until upgrading to version 5 and with 4.3 I could add a "-b 0.0.0.0:4068" to the miner file and then monitor on awesome miner.

It appears we are using "-b XXXX" api for benchmarking

Any solution to monitoring rigs?

My 1060s rigs work much better than my 1080tis.

I had to remove the -d option

I think we should remove the "-d #DEVICES#" from the miner file and add it in the config file like below.

@@GPUGROUPS=[{"GroupName" : "8x1060","Type":"NVIDIA","GpuPlatform":"0","Gpus":"-d 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7"}]

I would then plan on using it like this

@@GPUGROUPS=[{"GroupName" : "8x1060","Type":"NVIDIA","GpuPlatform":"0","Gpus":""}]

Also I think the benchmarking hashrate should be the average of the last 30 seconds.

5.0b1 works fine on my rig with 2x1070ti and 1x1070.

However on my rig with 1x1080ti and 1xvega64, 5.0b3 doesn't run the benchmarks. The miner windows open and insta-closes.

Also i'm getting this error:

Add-Member : Cannot add a member with the name "Name" because a member with that name already exists. To overwrite the
member anyway, add the Force parameter to your command.

i've deleted the folders, and tried beta 1,2 and 3 but none works.

Any tips on how to solve this? Thanks!

The script doesn't benchmark ClaymoreETH dual on both NVIDIA and AMD on Mining Pool Hub. Can you look into it?

The bundled ClaymoreETH is an old version, the older ones have a security issue in the remote manager. Adding -ethi 16 should slightly increase the hashrate on Claymore as well.
Can you disable the wallet check on MPH/SN if the API key is empty in order to avoid unnecessary requests to the server? While there is a wallet check, the miner is unresponsive as well.

Not a fan of the groups or #DEVICES#. I had to remove from most of the miners to get it to run.

Thanks,

I think correct for your AMD config is (in a group for test only, after test you can separate)

@@GPUGROUPS=[ {"GroupName" : "RX480","Type":"AMD","GpuPlatform":"1","Gpus":"2,3"}]

try that options also and check in miner windows if it is selecting right cards

Hi,

I did all you said and still the same problem when using them together(AMD, NVIDIA)
So I opened 2 instance of megaminer each one with this config and it is working now.

first instance with NVIDIA

I use my desktop when not using it, but with the GPU groups, AMD miners are wrong.  It launches the identical miner for my Nvidia card.

I've tried GPUPlat 1 or 0 and GPUs 1 or 0 and same result.  Any idea?

Your GPU is 1, play with GPUplatform value.

GpuList.bat GPU platform data are not correct, I´m looking for an alternative.

I think rule could be....AMD GPU Platform equal to

0: only AMD, no integrated GPU
1: only AMD, with integrated GPU
1: AMD and NVIDIA mixed rig, no integrated GPU
2: AMD and NVIDIA mixed rig, with integrated GPU

Nothing seems to trigger the AMD card at all.  It opens CCMiner two times for every benchmark regardless of the setting.
MPM works fine, it auto detects and sets the parameters automatically.  I would take a look at that.

5.0 beta 2 release

...

1. prospector is the best skunk miner for amd, so you should keep it
2. pascal may be dead, but there is PASL (on same algo), which is alive
3. cpuminer-opt 4way version supports only a few algos, you can check in his post. Also for the cpuminer, you miss the most profitable (most of the time) m7m algo

change @@gpuplatform on 4.X releases or @@GPUGROUPS on 5.X releases
