Long-term, the price of Bitcoin isn't going down, it will only surpass $100k and reach higher levels, I wouldn't be surprised if Bitcoin reaches 200K USD but I think that soon there will come time where we will be forced to change the fee system.
2023: Angry at the high fees? That's what everyone predicted the future will be like!
Fees will be needed, and don't say we need 1 cent fees as it's the same in terms of $.
You need the security of the chain in terms of the money needed to attack it versus the incentive to bring it down (the value of it) to keep at least the same, nobody is going to spend billions to attack a chain worth 50 billion, but completely hypothetically when you have 25% of the US reserves in a 10 trillion market cap chain, 10 billion to bring it to a stop starts to sound tempting.
So no, no way in hell you're going to see lower fees or a different model being pushed on!
