I don't want to support any website whose owner listens to pop music. Could you please let us know which gambling website owner is guilty of this so I can stay far away from it?

mem is a skinny white bastard who gets offended by the use of the word niggers even by niggers themselves, am I right? Or maybe I'm wrong and it's totally OK for niggers to use the word nigger but skinny white bastards are not allowed to use it. shit, that sounds racist to me, deciding who gets to use which words based on their skin colour.

Mem,

Please can you add www.pinballcoin.com

Has been live for a few months now, dooglus reviewed as provably fair.

Also as we get more players is even better as you can see other peoples bets falling on the web site.

Thanks

It's in the pipeline to be added.  I marked it as 'accepted' on the spreadsheet.

Anyway didn't want to sound like a dick, just voicing my opinion.

So your only problem with the pyramid scheme is that the operator* claims** that there's no risk involved?  If he said "everyone profits except the last buyer" then you'd be fine with it, because then it would be a game played for entertainment, with everyone knowing the risks.

* He might not be the site operator.

** He said 'nobody loses nothing', which may or may not be an intentional double-negative, or maybe just bad grammar.  It appears that English isn't his first language.

No I would be against the practice altogether unless the owner specifies "This website is a pyramid scheme and you are ALWAYS in the risk of not getting a dime back" on the index page which will never happen.

Arguably, someone who provides an honest roulette game is mitigating the harm.  Without honest providers of gambling services, which are harmless entertainment for the majority of punters, the problem gambler would get their fix from some dishonest vendor, maybe a Mafia loan shark operation, and would be harmed even more.

Even the profitable poker player has this ethical issue, to the extent it is an ethical issue.  That bad player may be playing with his rent money, money he can't afford to lose, or money he borrowed, and may have a serious problem with gambling.  I am not happy if that is the case.  However, I have to admit I do not feel a bit of guilt if that is the case, either.

He's not going to feel guilty if he gets lucky on me.

So I'm going to take that money if I can, and I'm going to enjoy doing it.

I second CasinoBit. Gambling is entertainment. People who deliberately try to make a living out of it are not in their right mind Smiley

It's a pyramid scheme essentially, need to be pretty bold to claim that and offer such services, I wouldn't want to be on the other side of that once one of the customers takes his life. Not because of the legal responsibility but because how can you live with yourself.

You could say the same about running any kind of gambling operation though couldn't you?  Even if you offer a fair game of roulette (say), are you responsible when a customer loses more than he can afford and offs himself?

Well one could argue that it's a grey area but for me the line is plain as day which is the reason I have decided to get into this business, a pyramid scheme inevitably leads to failure, it also encourages greedy people to invest all they can to make the most profit, I on the other hand do not encourage people to gamble "for profit" but rather for fun. It's the same as going to a theatre but you actually have the possibility of coming out of that theatre with more than what you've paid for the ticket.

One could then argue why would knife companies make knifes and how can they live with the fact that they are seldom misused by psychopaths to slaughter people. If one has a gambling addiction it's his internal problem that he needs to treat, we are merely a tool. I am against a nanny state, if one wants to purchase narcotics then so be it, all the profit should be used to treat addicts instead of fueling the greed of porche driving drug lords.

Anyway didn't want to sound like a dick, just voicing my opinion.

On SatoshiDiamond.org the player can't lose nothing... if past 24h the gem will be reset to 0.1 and the last owner receive back all bitcoin send Smiley 0% random reset...

Do you mean that the player can lose nothing, or can't?

Every few weeks one of these 'gem' games pops up where the owner claims that everyone either wins or breaks even.  It's amazing how anyone can think that it's possible for everyone to make a profit in a zero-sum game, but it keeps happening.

Edit: according to the site itself:

Quote
Instead, exceeded 24 hours from the last diamond buy, The game will be resetted and the diamond price come back to 0.1BTC.
When this happens THE LAST buyer will receive the 50% of the amount sent.

this is in stark contrast to:

Quote
last owner receive back all bitcoin send

and so I think game qualifies for an asterisk at the very least!
