I had the biggest examples of this with my wife who claimed she couldn't stay at home for a long period of time if it is allowed to go outside. There are people who psychologically can't stay at one place too much. I know people who couldn't go to hotels for vacation because of this period and decided that they would rather rent a house in a summer location so that they could still go to vacation. In face of death and suffery all they did was make sure they cancel their reservation at a hotel and instead go rent a house so they could still do their vacations no matter what.

I think with this kind of logic we are not going to get rid of this sickness that easily, it will probably take a long time before we can say it is definitely safe and we are not going to have any trouble at all and go back to normal no-mask days where we can hug each other, that is going to be a loooong time.

We cant say it would be on a long time because all we do need is the vaccine itself and yes there might be still a definite time for this but with the current technology we do have nowadays then
we can really presume out that it wont really take too much time if we do compared it into the previous pandemic that happened in 19xx+

Even myself do try to withstand the boredom and we havent really get used into this kind of situation this is why i cant really blame others to have that kind of feeling
where they cant just stay put into their own home and would really like to find ways for them to go out.

but since we do know the risk then we dont have any other choice. You should have in mind that on what would you choose, go outside and risking your health or would simply sacrifice and stay safe into your own home?

I agree we must prepare ourselves well, because this pandemic situation makes many people stressed. Just imagine
we cannot live a normal life, and again almost everyone has trouble making a living. Therefore we must live healthy,
like multiply to eat fruits and vegetables. Then more sports and positive activities, the last do not forget to pray to God.
That way we can deal with this corona virus with a healthy mental state.

Things are getting back to normal, but that doesn't mean that there are no cases, there are still cases, but it's now up to us to be very careful and try as much as possible to do the things we are mean to do: staying two meters away, washing our hands regularly, wearing nose masks, etc.
The situation we are in is a difficult one, and it's good that people have to maintain social distance to be able to overcome this virus. But in my country most people, despite knowing that the virus can kill, are still not ready to stay indoors. And I am not going to blame them, because the government is not showing them any help, and even if the government wanted to, I don't know if it's possible to feed the whole families in the country till the virus is over. So it's not easy mate. People still want to go back to their work and make money to take care of themselves and their family.

There are people who rely on going out everyday before they can eat. So, what are you going to tell those people? If this world was a really good place where the rich are always ready to assist, then that would have been easy, but most rich people are greedy and I won't blame them too because they think they might go broke if they are not careful.

Let us keep our self mentally alert and physically strong to to overcome all difficulties in life. Let us think positive always, let us be happy in wherever and in whatever situation we are in, let us all believe that life will be the same again.
Our strong immunity is our first line of defense here. And our outlook in life is one thing that may affect our health. Despite all the negatives, let's strive to see the positive side in all this happening. If you are well and your loved ones are well, then that's one thing to be grateful for. This trying time really made us realize the importance of the gift of life. So we must cherish every moment of our lives and always be thankful for the little things.

But, the lessons we had learn from this difficult moment will help us grow into somebody better than who we are today..
We surely learned a lot here, not just individually but also as a community, as a country. It is really important to be prepared for things like this. Not that we want another pandemic to occur. But we just want to be ready financially, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and physically from our own families to our government as a whole.

The prevalence of this worldwide pandemic is truly alarming. Many have died, and many have been infected and continue to fight the disease. These events in our world are extremely scary and gives us anxiety. It is important that we learn to be a positive outlook on life specially in this time of pandemic that will all end, and everything will return to normal. There are many changes in our lives that we do not expect to happen. Many limitations and restrictions we have to follow for our own safety. Just keep calm and try to think about the good things for us to avoid stress.

Humans always have that characteristics to adapt to situation, -a person from a hot region where their body system has been tolerating heat and got used to it now move to a polar region it will take some time but still the person would match in-.

The Corona virus at first greeted in the manner that suggests it was a death sentence but slowly and with precautions we managing the virus. The virus may go away or it may not, a Vaccine might be made or might not, still would always rise over the situation.

I think all this was a big joke! Business for rich, and control for poor, and you people talk here like it's end of the world. People are dying everyday, we will die one day, why to make so big drama about it?
Do you know what bothers me? Every year around 10000 children die from hunger, and we never cared about that, but now with this corona (stronger flu) that attacks older people we should worry about them? Do you even know how low that is? You support older and you say they are more important than kids. I would die today if that means life for younger than me.
I wish you happy slavery in upcoming years, because what governments did now showed how masters control slaves (us).

If we passed this pandemic and you are still well and did not get infected, you can call yourself survivor and this is something great to tell to your sons daughters and grandchildren, it's better to do everything you can not to get infected than to end up as one of the fatalities and added to the data of those who died.

During the quarantine I became more productive and do things that I don’t usually do before. I refrain thinking of the things that might stress me, its not the right time to focus on problems but Its the best time to explore new things. This is the new normal now, after this crisis we will become more prepared and matured specially with our priorities in life.

good thing for you that you dont worry with your life  but may i know if how old are you and what is your state in life  because age can also give impact on every kind situation  .

if your old enough and have a family plus add in if your state in life is poor  , you will find your self as one of those who loose its job .    this makes you worried if what will you eat and what will your family eat  .  no matter how you chilll out , problems for financial are still there later on  .

I just hope everything returns back to normal soonest. Alot has really happened with a lot of people loosing their jobs and all that. I pray it all ends soon. If not another virus set to take over will be depression and high rate of poverty

About the jobs that have been lost either because the employers too are suffering as part of all the community are feeling the hardship, the government should come to people's aid to assist the companies first so that they can employ people back.

Yup, I try to do all of these whenever I'm bored. I don't stay, I'm always looking for something to do. But the lockdown has been eased in my country this week, although in some states where there less cases the lockdown was eased earlier. Things are getting back to normal, but that doesn't mean that there are no cases, there are still cases, but it's now up to us to be very careful and try as much as possible to do the things we are mean to do: staying two meters away, washing our hands regularly, wearing nose masks, etc.

With respect to my regular job and my financial activities, I believe I must need to be stronger in terms of mental health which will be possible only when I am staying hale and healthier. The corona outbreak has taught me many useful lessons on physical and mental health and I believe that are always needed for me for rest of life as well regardless of when the pandemic will get over.

What you have written is just for those who are rich and or comfortable. The only aspect you talk of that touches the masses is praying to God  Grin. The masses rely in praying for God for help while the rich usually and most times believe in their wealth for help and that is why they can be comfortable at this time getting all the relaxation they can get and happiness while the poor is dying of hunger, stress, poverty and high blood pressure which could turn them into paralysis.

I agree on what you're saying, it's hard to be healthy when you are deprived of food that you need to healthy, but I also agree with OP that we need to be positive and take care of ourselves not to get infected, I have seen people here in my country neglecting the guidelines given by our government like social distancing, in trying to get a relief package, they are fighting two things COVID and hunger.
Thats the sad reality if you belong to a poor family, you cant just sit at home while seeing your loved ones getting hungry because you have nothing to eat. This one is depressing and can affect our mental health on how we see things. Yes its a must to have someone to talk to if we have problem but all of us are affected by this pandemic and only those who have savings or came from well off family doesnt feel the struggle and depression of the lockdown. This shall pass so we have to think positive and believe that there's a better tomorrow waiting.

The situation with the pandemic has clearly shown that a serene life can suddenly be replaced by uncertainty and difficulties. This means that you should always be prepared for economic troubles and other unpleasant life situations. Only when we are more or less in control of our lives can we be calm.

This pandemic taught us all to be frugal at all times. Material things are not important to survive in this world but the mental strength on how to survive despite of the things that are not readily available to us. This also taught us to live simply and go back to basics. You will feel more contentment in life if there are no complexities bothering around you.

People are really suffering mental health problems and I know that most of us here are also vulnerable to that, not only because of this pandemic, but it also includes gambling and trading. It is hard to fight mental health issues, specifically, depression, stress and overthinking. If we don't have someone to talk to, just reach your friends and families and talk about the things that you are experiencing right now.

We also need to reach out our friends and families if they don't want to talk to us. We are the one that should make the first move on talking to them about how they think and comfort them. Hoping that all of us here have a healthy mental health during this lockdown, stop overthinking about that things that are not really existing in reality. Keep calm, relax, and mind over matter, be optimistic and think of the positive things that you have in life.

I've tried gardening as a hobby. This crisis motivated me to take it more seriously. Along the way I realized some herbs, mushrooms, fruits, vegetables and plants carry natural anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties. There is government mandated research claiming some select herbs and mushrooms carry potent anti-viral properties which make them effective in combating corona viruses:

Quote

The main issue with the herbal approach is DNA testing confirming many supplements advertised to contain "herbal essences" contain ingredients other than what they claim. This is one reason many herbal essence treatments are outright frauds. They do not contain the herbal ingredients on their label. It appears the only reliable method of acquiring herbal ingredients is to grow them or purchase them directly.

I would like to extend this to add some few potent immune stimulants if you guys are really interested in it :-

Ginger+Honey
Turmeric+Milk

Works best , plus have been used in ancient medicine since ages , excess should be avoided , Google if you guys are interested.

If we consider the fact that America puts a lot of people on Antidepressants and artificial drugs that change neuronal architecture and connectivity of brain, then I guess mental health among people will go down in the USA. Even Trump stated that during this lockdown suicide hotline was exploded. Pharma is a business so America will "take care" of their mental health temporarily but in overall, in this case situation will go worse on a long term.
There were a lot of wrong actions taken during this worldwide lockdown. A lot of risks were ignored and mental health is one of them. It's especially hard for those who were left alone during this pandemic because of their lifestyle and also for those who lost jobs that were earning basic needs for their livings. Also in some countries banks still kept and even grew percentage on loans and again, in some countries problem loans weren't even postponed.

We must sacrifice all our comforts to adhere on the the protocols because our survival depends on each other.
First of all corona virus wasn't as deadly as they were saying. All they were doing was playing with statistics and blame me but I don't fully believe that every statistic provided by them was 100% accurate. Also we have to consider ages of dead ones when we review given statistics and we have to have full list of how many people dead with and without corona. For example in Italy more than 600K people dead in 2019 that means on average 1700 people were dying daily. Some people on this planet think that only 2-3 person dies in Europe daily, so... Even number daily death 400 sounds like a disaster for them. Also we have to keep in mind that 99% of those who dead had another illness, most of them - chronic one.
So our survival doesn't depend on each other and believe me, there won't be any virus or etc thing that will cause the extinction of human race.

Due to some unfortunate turn of events , coronavirus have actually become more deadly for the people with heart disease and other complications , their death rate is higher than normal.

At the same time lack of financial funds , lack of ventilators have actually impacted the society in a major way , in some places only the rich can afford healthcare . Coupled with corruption at this time it's wreaking havock .

It is deadly , not the virus itself but the people all around who are making it impossible to get something done.

Some are even spreading the virus themselves!! Mankind is at a brim.
Of course, pandemic and isolation are crushing. Closed borders scare me. My friend’s mother died (not from Kovid), but she lived in another country, and he could not come to the funeral. And the question of the complete removal of all restrictions does not stand before the countries, since they expect a second wave of covids.

My condolences , I do think there are some common parks at the borders which is not in the legal books of any country. I have even seen documentaries where people are meeting there . It's sad but it is much needed step that they have to take.

You can even put up a request with authorities in case of absolute emergency.

_________________________________________________________

Further I do think one should :

Disinfectant the house
Read and develop their skills
Try gardening and other stuff
Connect with their families
Try and volunteer at their nearest shelter
Distribute homemade food once every 10 days , doing good does wonder to your brain
Make sure you are getting all the vitamins and minerals through food
When you go outside be careful , there is nothing like being over careful!
Change your masks and all .
Meditate , colour , draw , do yoga .
Keep yourself occupied because it is not getting easier anytime soon .

Life is full of uncertainties and full of risk, a famous line of my friends and its true. We have to be prepared always even though we don’t know what will happen in the future and to be prepared it means, you have an emergency funds, an insurance, and your investment for your retirement fund. Mental health right now is a big issue because of the pandemic, our situation its not easy so please be gentle to everyone and as much as possible you have to be more understandable and patient when dealing to anyone because they might experiencing frustration and depression, so help them to survive.
