To get 1 merit this is really very difficult in this forum.

Wrong. If you're here for the right reasons, it's hard not to get merit. You have zero merits because the system was implemented specifically to weed out people like yourself.

...have join in this forum for 4 months, i take an active part in this forum but it's too difficult for me to get merit. pls kindly help me  Embarrassed Embarrassed

Merits are not to reward activity, but quality. Your entire activity is limited to posting proofs for bounty campaigns.

Feel free to reply with links to few constructive/helpful posts of yours and I'll consider sending you one.

Can you take a look at some of my post if it does not fit the rules of the system? - that some tips for new players can earn some extra money with the effort they have worked.

Hard to get a merit hard. Most of people keeping their merits as a golden.  The real point is we were not at the right topics so far. However i support this Merit system based Rank system. These kind of things necessary for high quality forums as Btt.

I’m gonna give you a shot.

Take a look at your post history. Do you really think you ever helped someone or contributed with anything to the forum? What changed with your posts? Be honest.

As you may know, most of us are newbie in this field.
So we don't have too much experience to create some quality posts. We will try to contribute to the forum in our capacity. Wish you simphethise!
Try to grow. Because people can all.Nothing can be done, without not effort.LoyceV, JayJuanGee, SFR10, they also had a small member one day.But they are trying hard. So they got bigger members today. You also try it,I hope you get Merit too.
Many thanks for your advising, every one has responsibility to improve themself to be better.

I think, this new rule is very fair because it only increases the amount of merit for rank Jr members ... and does not limit the number of new accounts created every day.
Even if this happens (limitation of account creation) it is likely to greatly impact the progress of this forum.
Therefore, we must follow and execute this rule if we want this forum to be better in the future

I agree with you. This function will make more secure and smooth to this great forum. Also it as a way to set new created spam accounts by this way.

I yesterday was Jr.Newbie

There is no rank named Jr.Newbie  Grin

today became a Newbie

Jr Member is now required to have 1 merit.
Learn more- https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/enhanced-newbie-restrictions-requirements-5030366

You can only rank up to Jr member if you get 1 merit. Also, newbies are restricted to wear signature and personal text now.

First of all I have always known this would happen and secondly I am not against the idea but my advice would be that each time a new account is created the account should be given access to a certain number of public thread where they can freely earn merit based on their post. The reason why I feel this would really be of assistance is because most newbies like me find it very defficult to identify a thread where merit can be rewarded for quality post. Once again I really think the merit system is a great idea

I'm not bothered that I've been demoted, and I hope I'll make my way to some rank someday.

What  bothers me that some of the higher ranked members like you who got into the game early when there was no restrictions and now selling their accounts for money.( I'm not saying you're selling though.)
I hope they'll implement something to stop this too.
Why are you bothered about this? How does this make you more or less of a spammer? Start worrying about making real useful posts instead of disguised shitposts and not about other people trying to bypass the merit limitations.

I may have “gotten to the game early”, but that’s because I joined this forum cuz of Bitcoin and not to join bounties and make money. Actually, I’ve already received more than 250 merits since the system was introduced, which doesn’t make me better than anyone, but someone who actually has a brain and tries to do anything instead of complaining all day while writing a lot of bs.

So I can't voice my concern! Is that what you're trying to tell me? you're more concerned about how disguised shit post mine are but not a bit about the people selling accounts and scamming people.

So you are accusing TryNinja and all the other high ranked members of selling their accounts? Well, you certainly know how to win friends and influence people (Dale Carnegie).

Oh, and there is something in place to discourage account sales: it's called getting painted red by default trust (DT) members. Once that happens hardly any bounty/sig campaign managers will accept you.

Excuse me if I'm wrong, and you can see I didn't accuse him for selling, I've mentioned '' some ''.

Just noticed the new system, I've demoted to the newbie account too but I think this rule was much needed to countermeasure the excessive spams happening around.
I don't spam post and anyone can check that out.  😭
Feeling kind of sad but hey sacrifices are also needed for greater good and purification of this forum ❤️
Your posts are as bad as the average spammer in this forum. Your whole post history consists of redundant posts (which are basically just a rephrasing of things that already have been said multiple times in the 30+ pages before yours) that don’t add anything to the discussion. I would never merit any of your last posts.

You are not making any sacrifices... You are part of the problem we are trying to solve.

Another thing I would like to add, you didn't take any measure to stop people from selling higher ranked accounts.
Don't you think there should be a rule for that too.?

On average, merit sources(now) have less sMerit compared to what the average was prior to the upgrade/additions:

19,500/84 sources= 232.14 sMerits
23,045/120 sources= 192.04 sMerits
That makes sense: some of the old sources have very high amounts, but most send much less than the average. In the last 30 days:
Code:

If my counting is correct, my source Merit went up twice until now. It makes sense to start with a relatively low amount, and increase if if the Merit source proves to distribute them properly.
