I remember when I get my first merit. I've tried every sector of merit giveaways but didn't get a single merit by asking. But instead of looking a shortcut I started to explore BitcoinTalk Forum and everydays I just get learn new things. Whatever I learn I just spread them to newbies and share my thoughts.
.
If there's in world some people exist who belive in bitcoin or this type of alternative coins it has a value

It was my first post where I get 1 merit. It realizes me that if I just run into merits I won't get anything. Just try to learn and share your knowledge. If you are realy a worthy to get a merit. You will definitely get them .

Inspire people to learn not just throw them into some shortcuts

I hope you get it my friend Cheesy

Simply because the OP was hoping to earn merit with this post, and so far he has already earned one.

I'm sick of seeing it: newbies or junior members like him who has 100 activity and so far only 2 earned merits, creating a thread about the merit system because somehow they know that creating a post about merits is likely to end up getting them some.

Successful bait is successful

Lolz it look like I have to make merit posts only if this is the way I had done many better posts no one is going to merit them.
One more thing you can see all legendary or higher members are most active.
In this same way BTCitcoin get underestimated no one believe you first then they internally say oh you're right.

Just made a valuable post and don't expect merit a lot, I'm pretty sure the merit source knows what they are doing and they will give merits to posts they think are deserving. If you think more of making  good posts than earning merit, that would reward you someday with merits as eventually, they'll see your posts if they haven't seen it now.

I've seen a lot of members here starting from newbie to Legendary, so earning merits and ranking up is possible, so just enjoy staying in the forum, don't pressure yourself a lot of not getting any merit as it's not a must.

You will get a permanent ban for spreading wrong information and targeting people this will not be tolerated.

This forum doesn't ban scammer or people who share FUD. Even anti-vaxxer could use this forum.

I Know he is following me and threatening me in same way so I start ignoring if he leave himself instead its increasing more and more so I use his own words here if he understand.

My request to all members dont discuss anything here main objective of this post is to spread merits to eligible accounts do it if you can or ignore it.

You have been a member of the forum since 2016 and you have not read the forum rules yet?

32. Posting multiple posts in a row (excluding bumps and reserved posts by the thread starter) is not allowed.

Besides, this thread is not something new and original, if you had tried a little harder, you might have found better ways to report good posts to merit sources. Also, there are no rules anywhere on what should someone do with their sMerits, but they certainly should not be sent to random profiles just because you think so.

Merit sources are inactive or they are supporting mostly there known coz how can it be possible with 2k activity and not a single merit?

We need more awareness as forum is old we can't ignore its issues we together have to work on it.

Plot twist: it just means that the person is posting nothing worth giving merit to.

Seriously lmao. The "high ranks not giving merits to low ranks" has been proven wrong like a hundred times already with a good number of new people with lots of earned merits early on. It's the shitposters that need awareness, not the merit holders.

it's even better, he criticizes here how users are holding merit, and now he has 2 spendable, but he hasn't given any yet.

isn't it better to have more activities here, the chances are higher that you will attract users with more available merits?

I will give it all away dont worry about it. If I start picking up account you got 1 merit 2 merit is it a good way to you, in this way you step up.
here is no comparison or competition of any kind no one is forcing you here its completely your decision how to spend your merits.

<…> Our request is to all Merit Sources and all respected Members, Kindly share your merits and support each other.[/b] <…>
I believe most do, and have been doing so for years on this forum. Not to dwell on the arguments been often used, but earning some merits is not that hard at all. Earning many merits is harder, but in either case it comes down to putting time and effort, and not garling the first thing that comes to mind. Quite a few have understood that and shifted gears in a more "meritable" forum presence, whilst others have yet to discover the basic said ingredients.

Note: People often tend to think that all decent posts should get merited, and they don't, nor do they strictly need to. They simply opt to.

Its better If we remain on OP or in discussion we can go any long with no solution.

main reason to create this op is to giving a way to spread merits instead of going on searching for it.

But certain members want to hodl it and grow.

You're going about it wrong. You've been around for long yet can't quote properly. If one is to judge by the date you registered on bitcointalk, you can't be called a newbie. But still you post like one. IMO you don't give sufficient time to learning

After going through threads in previous weeks I found mostly legendary or senior members are only replying everywhere which made me think that members are getting demotivated coz they are increasing activities with no merits how will they post I found certain accounts with 2000 activity with no merits.
If you check most of my merit, they are people not from my country (you can do the research), they are people I do not know before and never seen 99% of them physically before. As lovesmayfamilis implied already, change your mindset. Study this forum, post in a way to get merits. It is not about how numerous your posts are, it is about how quality and coherent your posts are.

You see a member of 2000 activity but no single merit, check the account very well, he/she is definitely a bounty hunter with no quality post to get merit. It can be otherwise for good posters where you will see low activity but numerous merits.

Merit sources are inactive or they are supporting mostly there known coz how can it be possible with 2k activity and not a single merit?
Merit source are active, if few are not active, but most are active. If there is low merit sent to users, theymos will approve more merit sources. But this is not the matter now, the matter is for you to change your mindset and have quality posts.

2) Merits are valuable, I can't give it away to unknown?
First you should know, you are getting in return things you can't see or think, you will never get it while dealing with known. People giveaway their whole wealth in search of it and you're getting it through merits I don't think this is not a smart deal?

To motivate new members we have to concentrate more on newbies to member's.[/size]

Merits aren't meant to be handed to someone because they need to rank up. Check the merit threads, some have task or quiz you have to complete to earn the merit. others go through your post history to find a post that's good enough to merit. Merit is hard when you make posts like this . I'm surprised the post had so many replies. I ignore those kind of discussion because they are not helping anyone.

Sorry about this, since 2016, only 2 merits received before this thread. Are you commanding the merit source? Do not create a thread of what you are not capable of, if you are not capable of sending merit to newbies, then why creating this thread when there are some already existing.
My 90 activity is in previous 1-2 weeks, you can see I am too much active now a days as I dont like to do all this stuff, to keep account active i start sharing posts
Its a request not a command.

You have also gained 3 merits but you have not given to anyone on the forum contrary to what you have mentioned in title of the thread so what are you going to explain to all other members here. You are making this thread with the hope of earning merit but this won't help you mate so start making good posts which will help you more.

Since I promised to take a closer look at the OP's profile, after reading all his posts, we can conclude that he has a completely wrong mindset.
You just take a look at this:

I did lot of quality and knowledgable postings and no one give merits for that there is some other secret behind merits.

I found some people with too much merits and some are not getting even what's required we should equalise all this stuff.

 Cheesy
He is absolutely sure that he is on the right path. Something sincerely advising him is useless, the OP is too stubborn to accept the way the community lives.
What about his behavior? Someone learns from the mistakes and experiences of other people, the OP will have its own beaten path, with learning from their own mistakes.
And until he masters these mistakes, the lessons will be repeated regularly.

As we know only way to have more merits is to give it away.
The only way to earn merits is to create useful posts. However, each user may understand usefulness differently.

1) Why? I earned it in hard way.
I'd never add this as an argument of why I don't merit newbies, despite the fact that I do merit those. Even if you'd earnt them in a hard way, the merit count won't be reduced from your account. The only meter that gets reduced is your sMerit count which is useless by itself.

The purpose of the merit system is to merit.

2) Merits are valuable, I can't give it away to unknown?
They aren't valuable. They are units that must be circulated among the forum. Again, you keep merits, you give away sMerits.

First you should know, you are getting in return things you can't see or think, you will never get it while dealing with known. People giveaway their whole wealth in search of it and you're getting it through merits I don't think this is not a smart deal?
