There are still NFT projects in 2024 but I agree that Metawin team are already late to this party. The most hypiest phase of NFT ended several years ago, and I really don't think 2024 and 2025 will be too bullish for NFT projects.
Exactly! The ones who are saying that this is still a good time for them to chase this trend are mostly just their supporters. Being optimistic is a good thing for sure, but over-optimisim in this manner is just silly. They need to think more realistically.

Well, as you may know, and if you haven't you will soon find out, the price of bitcoin has crossed the psychological barrier of $100K. Congratulations.
Yeah. Trump appointing a crypto friendly SEC chief helped BTC push past the 100 grand barrier. That clown of a president is making all the right moves for crypto currently.

Do you think this will make people bet more? I think so, I think MW, between good management and the bull market must be having good revenue increases.

Yup. Skel mentioned in chat they are very much up despite the hack -- 80% up to be exact.

Congratulations BTC and holders. Happy $100K. Speaking of, metawin is giving away $100K in celebration of this huge milestone.
I guess it depends on who are the NFT creators...

This.

While I understand the sentiment about NFTs as a whole. People are interested because metawin/Skel the god candle is on board. They have the community + the budget for aggressive marketing and constant big sweeps. This isn't like his side projects, as well but a main one as it carries the metawin branding and could be pivotal for building $MWIN hype.

Of course, I'm not trying to crystal ball the future here. But the takeaway is, it has a fair chance at anything. Personally, I'm optimistic.

Metawin's NFT mint date has been announced - December 10th!
I really don't see the point to this. NFTs were extremely popular despite being pointless tokens without any inherent value way back in 2023 and are now still barely alive though some think they are dead.

The whole NFT phase plateaued and crashed within a short span of time just like the 2017 ICO phase. Metawin are way too late to this party.

I guess it depends on who are the NFT creators since so far NFT scene still alive. Maybe it lessen up it gotten but still to many people participate on this scene.

Maybe we can see the hype lessen up due to those scams entered, but still there are lots of project which have good utilities for their NFT's still launching it. Also NFT's is not new on Metawin since they are actively posting it especially if they give this as reward on their giveaways.

We can see that there are so many people joining on their whitelist and lots of people are interested to acquired their created NFT https://x.com/Meta_Winners/status/1864077799734055127 so this indicate that they are not late on the scene and most provably that they will be successful when they launch this project.

Probably late to the trend, but never too late on the timing. The market is currently bullish, especially in the altcoins sector, and I’ve noticed a lot of recent posts claiming that altcoin season has finally arrived. So, even though the trend might feel a bit dated, if they can still benefit from this altcoin season, why not? Timing is everything, and this could be the perfect moment to jump in.
After many years in this market, I learned many lessons and with me now, Bitcoin is my best choice, with altcoins Proof of Work is my most favorite altcoin type.

NFT is something created for hypes and it's "rich quick" scheme, but we know the fact that "Fast comes, fast goes", and this is true with NFT trend that was borned and died very quickly when 2020 - 2021 bull market stepped down for a bear market in 2022 and 2023. Most of NFT projects failed but's explainable if we look at utility of NFT.

Hello everyone, I have a question. I received an email from Metawin asking for some sort of KYC verification. I'm curious if anyone else has received a similar email? I wouldn't be surprised if it's legitimate, as Stake has already implemented this, but I just want to confirm if it's authentic. I’m actually trying to find the email now, but I can't seem to locate it, possibly because I've received a lot of promotional emails from Metawin.

Nothing from my end though that's probably because I've mostly used their web3. and only small amounts on custodial wallet. Were you on their custodial wallet a lot?

I wonder if you've tried using the search bar to search for the email in question? with the right keywords, I think, it should pop up real quick e.g. metawin kyc/verification, etc. Check the available search filters too.
Yes, I'm using their custodial wallet. I couldn’t find it in my email inbox, or maybe I just misread it - perhaps it’s from another casino. Since you haven’t received anything similar to my email, I guess I don't have to worry now as it shows that it’s still safe to gamble with Metawin even without KYC.
Well, it's also possible to check your spam box to be sure that the email in question is not there, I've in previous times received email which I opened through my notification log, read the email and then close it, and when next I returned to my mail box, I can't find the same email, only to later on discover that it was from my spam box that it showed up on my device notification log and I opened it from there.

But away from that now, the email is not as important as the site and what information you have on your account, if actually there is a need for you to pass kyc verification, it did reflect on your account, and if right now, there is no sign of such request from the site, then you can play on, but better still is to contact the casino's customer care service for thorough inspection and better information.

Yeah, could be from another casino. As far as mandatory KYC is concerned, nothing has been announced about it. And metawin is still pitching their more relaxed KYC policies. I believe Skel plans to keep it for as long as he can. Few months back, they moved to anjouan gaming from Curacao GCB license -- curacao consolidated their regulatory bodies/underwent some changes thus, they turn to anjouan which is said to be more welcoming to web3 tech.
They did not turn their KYC policy even after the hack months ago, so they will possibly maintain this KYC policy on their platform, until something happens with regulations that force MetaWin team changing their ToS, and AML/ KYC policy.

Quote
I would recommend the web3 wallet whenever you can use it as oppose to their custodial wallet. They do advertise it as zero friction so they won't halt your withdrawal to ask for a verification -- the 24 hour withdrawal limit applies.
Use Web3, open source, non custodial wallets is good because you have more controls than using custodial wallets. With custodial wallets, we know that after we fund it, our money no longer belong to our control, but belong to a platform we deposit our money to. Risk of losing money is high with many reasons that you don't know which one will come to your account and your fund.

Rest assured Metawin is not strict when it comes to enforcing KYC with players since it promotes web3 which is known for being decentralized.

You can encounter KYC verification in rare cases here if ever your account show some violation nevertheless you don’t need to worry if you are just a normal gambler. You should use the web3 feature using non custodial wallet for quicker way of accessing the casino instead the manual login using email and OTP.

Currently playing Sweet Bonanza and everything is fine at my end. Tried to look at their social media channels to see if there's certain issue just like what you have mentioned but I guess no problem exist so maybe there's an issue at your end that's why you encounter that loading issues.

Maybe simplest thing you can do is to clear cache your browser since maybe this one could able to solve your issues or  try to update your browser.

Don't know if this will work at your side, but try then see the result.

Yes, I realized it was that. At first I thought it was only with the live games but when I tried to play slots that I had played before I saw that I had the same problem. I cleared cookies and it didn't work, and finally I changed browser and I could play. Live games and slots.

Is anyone else having problems loading the live casino? It stays as if it was going to load, the screen goes blank, then goes back to black, and does not load. My connection is good and I have no problems accessing anything else on the internet.

Lol. Earlier when I talked about the subject I forgot to talk about that, the possible import taxes, which in the case of Bangladesh are crazy. I guess it's protectionism so that people don't care. I have asked ChatGPT how much I would have to pay to import the Bugatti there and it gives me a total of:

Now tell me if you were surprised or not. Even if someone is a millionaire and has enough money to buy a couple of cars, they think twice before they think to import one. But you know, some people have black money that they earned through corruption; they can afford anything. I can buy a couple of cars in other countries. But I wouldn't dare to buy one in my own country just because of these ridiculous VAT and taxes.

Why are taxes on car imports so high in your country? Bangladesh is a developing country, its population is 173 million people and there are only up to 5 million registered cars, which means that there aren't many cars in your country, the car ownership is 1:35, which is too low. Logically, your government should be helping people to buy cars because it significantly helps people to move better.

I don't know, brother. Cars and some other things have become luxurious in my country even though they are almost mandatory in other countries. If I am not wrong, a poor family in the USA with bad financial conditions has a garage and its own car. I guess you understand we don't. Back to the topic, I still think the casinos will always offer cash instead of the car.

Didn't receive an email like that but if you are doubting about that KYC request you receive and its legitimacy I guess the best thing you could do is to ask their support a question towards that matter to verify if they are the one asking this information.

Try to ask this on their discord since usually they are active there https://metawin.com/contact-us/

Be careful on impersonators since there are people replicate the name of their representative including Skel to scam people.
