I was thinking to try the VIP transfer bonus after watching the reward received by some other forum members. But I found that deposit is required when I went to try it yesterday. And today I noticed that MetaWin has already closed the VIP transfer offer when I went to make a deposit .

That's a good amount compared to your wagering stats on Stake. I haven't seen any other casino to offer such higher amounts for the VIP transfer bonus. I think MetaWin team will include some rules next time by following the activity of those users who have participated in the early stage.

So, for those who didn't manage to fill out the Google form, you still have a chance to transfer your VIP status to Metawin. Just keep your eye on the Metawin X account and this thread for announcement. I'm only Plat 1 ($260K wagered) at Stake.com and Metawin gave me total of $225 without any deposit requirements (early bird registration).

I see the transfer relates to many things.

Like budget of the team to give some instant or long term bonuses to new VIP users who migrate from other platforms. It should be deep budget and initially must have something attractive to convince those people to change their homes.

If it is only short term effects because lack of detailed plans for long terms, budget spent will be like waste and can not help the site too much in gaining new users and keep their on their platforms with active bets.

Terms for the transfer and other programs must be thought very carefully and composed with deep considerations because it relates to budget of the business and reputation too.

Generally it is complicated and you just pointed it out.

The form is closed so none of the answers I was looking for have really been answered. I know what a VIP transfer is as far as the term, but each site I have seen try it has different bonuses, different terms, and it hasn't really panned out for them. Hence why I have never advise a client to try it. Seems like a big waste of funds unless the terms are in favor of the casino.

What I feel happens is, users are given a bonus depending on VIP level from another site. Terms of this bonus are different for each site, so I will not comment on any terms. The site gets an influx of players for the next month or so, depends on how long they are taking new VIP transfers. Then, the site dries up again.

What sites don't seem to realize is, lots of the players doing the VIP transfer have been gambling for years to build their accounts. Let's say you are a Platinum 1 on Stake for example. You could have joined stake in 2016 and been building that VIP level for 8 years. How much gambling do you actually do? Likely not very much. In the short term it looks great for the site as business suddenly picks up, but most are gambling with house money.

I see that this site added a deposit term for the VIP transfer which was a good idea. Something that might have been better to have from the start. Some other things that might be good for any other site looking to do this is to get a screenshot of a VIPs deposits in the last 6 months or so. Base the bonus on how often they deposit or how large the deposits usually are as you are wasting your money giving a VIP transfer for basically dormant accounts that rarely gamble or deposit. Also might want to consider some sort of rollover, it's a fine line as the goal is to try to coax players into wanting to join your site and gamble their funds, but you don't wanna be tossing money down the drain. Have to give yourself a little protection IMO.

Overall, the VIP transfer can be a good thing. Just needs to be done properly.

Now it was closed for new applicants and only the MetaWin owner or representative in bitcointalk can answer you that whether they will accept your application after closing the form.

And as I said, I have 5 million wager on stake, and a higher than average VIP level. SO that's why I wonder what amount of a deposit would be necessary to transfer the VIP level.

I understand that this is only for the VIP's and there are only few here who can afford the deposit requirement that's why they are called VIP. About the promo, I can't verify if it's already close since this isn't for me but as per LM in this thread its until May 31.

Yeah but gold isn't really a high level to be honest. With small/medium deposits you can go there quite easy. So there is also not much of a reward.
I am a platinum 5 (60% to platinum 6) at stake, with around 5 million wager over the years. I just wondered how a transfer would have looked like but if it requires to deposit a lot of cash, to a site where you still don't know what you will get, is kind of a risky endeavour.

I would have been interested for sure if the required deposit is reasonable of course. But now the promo seems closed anyway.

I guess that they have received requests more than what they expected. Xlays previous said that he received the reward similar to the amount when he rank up to gold at Stake. Imagine if there are 1000 users from Stake with the same rank as Xlays, metawin need to spend decent amount only (previously there was no deposit requirement). Now they have closed the form, high likely they have reached their budget limit for this promotion.

The "VIP transfer" part made me curious so I wanted to check it out but the rules for that are quite off in my opinion.
First of all, to make this even possible, you have to make a deposit which is similar to the amounts you make the other site ( from where you want to transfer your VIP status ) .
I mean, really? I don't even know yet if I want to play in a certain extend at metawin and they already make such a strange stipulation to even consider transferring your VIP status.

The idea was good but the execution is the opposite. 

Now the google doc which you have to fill out to "apply" for a vip transfer doesn't even take new applications (yesterday it still did) so I guess other people are not bothered by this.

What exactly is a VIP transfer? Do you have to renounce the old casino? What requirements are there? I have seen other casinos announce this, but have never participated, so Just curious how it works.

I believe in bright future for MetaWin team and they already shown what their team and platform can provide to customers. They will become bigger and stronger with time but conquering the gambling world is very ambitious target.

The gambling industry is highly competitive and it is not easy to conquer this industry and maintain it a long time. Like now, you can say MetaWin appeared and are conquering Stake, Sportsbet and other older casinos but MetaWin platform will face with similar risk and competitiveness from other new casinos in future.

What a surprise! I checked my Metawin account and found I got another balance. Checked my notifications and I got this:

I read the contest in games and round saw there's an update in the Google Form regarding VIP transfers. It says we need to deposit to be eligible for VIP transfer. Do those who submitted in the early announcement still need to deposit eventhough we've already claimed the bonus reward?

Understandable, when there is a program like this and it offers something good then there must be tons of request. 
By the way, I received an email from Metawin VIP manager 2 hours ago, informed me that I'm not eligible for the reward.
This make me confused, so what was the balance I got yesterday if today they told me that I'm not eligible for the promotion?
I think there must be miscommunication or maybe they sent the email to many users and I'm included on the recipients
