be careful with suspicious sites, lots of phishing. but for mew sites, it's very safe and many use it to make wallets. it's just that the display now changes to become simpler

Maybe you mentioned phishing sites. It's easy to avoid them when you check the url. MEW is not responsible for phishing sites it's like imposters. You can actually download chrome extension to avoid clone sites.

Myetherwallet is safe but i do much like thier old version unlike the new one. I have to switch into vintage.myetherwallet.com to open my account and to manage my coins.
Why would you say that mew is not safe? Have you encountered problems using mew ? Have you experience hacking while using mew? Ive never encountered that problems until now, mew is the safest wallet for me.

Exactly, when you compared with their previous version now they have upgraded their website with lot of security which will help us to store more coin without any problem. More than a year I am using MEW and never faced any problem with them.

I don't think mew is safe for now, it will be OK not to make use of mew as it is too vulnerable for attack you can make use of Eidoo wallet app or imtoken app so as to safeguard yourself from being hacked I think the developer of mew should take into consideration the security of mew.

I trust myetherwallet so much ,ive put every coin that i get cause i knew my coins are safe on that wallet. Im a user for more than a year and still i didnt encounter any problem.

It's been a while I make use of mew after I've found imtoken I don't know why I so much detest mew maybe due to the security issues it has become mew is too vulnerable for attack, I will advise you to use imtoken

MEW is one of the recommended wallet for Ethereum if you want your coins be safe.

MEW is safe, but it is not recommended to access it via your private keys, because the site got hacked twice in the past and hackers stolen large amounts of ETH. I use always Metamask to access the wallet, because it is one of the safest methods, in my opinion.
I have never heard about MEW being breached by hackers but i do heard about careless users who got their MEW being hacked.
i think being breached by hackers and mew users being hacked are both the same . mew is really hackable and prone to many online threats therfor i can say that mew is not safe to use for a crypto user that has alot of valueable alts and tokens .
MEW is best when someone keeps their system free from phishing,I am using it for long time and never faces any issues yet so the fault is from the users who are doing careless mistakes and endsup losing their all tokens.When someone holding huge amount of tokens they should buy Ledger Nano S wich are more secure than a wallet like MEW.

There are several ways to protect your digital assets in MEW if you also care to read about them. For now, what i have noticed is the new GUI of MEW which doesn't only makes it cool in appearance but also some additional security features as well.
yes they do have it . that's what make them different from other altcoin/erc20 wallets but users are just lazy to follow and read thier instructions . many user still prefer the easiest and old way of accesing thier mew accounts and that is via the private keys .
