Minera 0.1.12 is out

This release is focused on pools stats, thanks to Sandor we have now every pool sessions stored, so we can calculate the real pool hashrate for each session we make.

As you can notice, the main red widget with the total hashrate now refers to the POOL hashrate instead the total device one. This is much accurate cause it's calculated based on the real shares sent to the current pool over the time, so for example, if you have devices that are not hashing anymore, you will notice a drop of the main hashrate that's exactly what is happening on the pool side (while device hashrate still shows you a higher value).

Then there is a new way to detect devices with problems, I take for assumption that a device that doesn't send shares is a device with (possible) problems, so you will have different colours based on the delay that they have to send new shares.

I added how many pools you want with a new shiny pool settings box.

I fixed various things, but there are still problems with 5 or more Blades connected (still investigating).

Hope you like it. Enjoy and have a great weekend!

michelem, let me start by saying love minera. been working AWESOME for me. Currently running 12 volt mod gridseeds, and the autotune has worked flawlessly (after giving about 6 hours).

i am currently running 0.1.11 and i have clicked the update several times. it goes to the update screen, countdown, and reloads, but does not install new update. i've powered down raspberrypi, rebooted minera several times, but for whatever reason won't install update. any advice?

I can confirm, nothing is being updated

Same here.  Several attempts to update, still on 1.11.

You are amazing BTW.. haven't had a chance to say it yet.  This package is AWESOME.  You've done a hell of a job.  Once I get enough of a stash of coins I will certainly send over a donation.

michelem, i'm guessing the new update solves this problem?

Stats don't get updated (34k seconds ago) but hashrate still showing 26,9 Mh... If i check log it miners actually get accepted shares, does that mean the miners are working fine even if these stats are frozen (this happens on both versions 0.1.8b and 0.1.11)?

Oh and btw, after updating to 0.1.12 the version remains 0.1.11

Ill note that I have this ame problem, albeit with only 3 miners.

I can confirm  if you add the saved frequencies to the extra options the miner does not start

Looking for some assistance -

When put my saved frequencies in the extra options section of the settings page and uncheck auto tune, minera does not start to hash. All the correct frequencies seem the paired to their correct serials and listed on the dashboard page.

If I revert back to auto tune, everything works as expected.

Any ideas or additional steps I need to take to get this working?
Can you show the exact command you are using with the saved frequencies? Post your cpuminer.log, maybe there is something there. You can try copying the whole command and running it in SSH to see if it gives you any errors.

Is it normal to get so many HW even at 838MHz?

looks like  the blades have hung 5000 seconds since last share is not good, mine did that on the cheap hub until I changed it to an elecrocity.

I have --gc3355-timeout=1000 for that very problem.
ty for your input, will test it around ..

So I have run minera for a couple of days on my 5 chip Gridseeds now and its great!

I have then modified the Gridseeds for OC Mode meaning that I'll be able run them at a much higher frequency.
Autotune is probably already finished and saved. Will I have to delete some parts of the DB to make cpuminer forget the old autotune settings?

I know its kind of a cpuminer question.

Thanks for your work michelem

on the dashboard page next to the red refresh icon is a icon to save the frequencies
then when you co to the settings page there is a big list of saved  frequencies like this

select it all in that window and paste it into the extra options window above it
untick autotune
then click save

--gc3355-freq=48EC70493135:838:0,48EC70493135:838:1,48EC70493135:838:2,48EC70493135:838:3,48EC70493135:838:4,48EC70493135:8

FlushALL will delete every settings/stats/etc... I don't recommend it.

If you have DataTables random errors, please clear the cookies browser

I'm still receiving the DataTables error above, even on browser that never access that page before (so there are no stored cookies etc).  Happens in FF, IE, and Chrome:

Code:
DataTables warning: table id=pools-table-details - Requested unknown parameter '5' for row 0. For more information about this error, please see http://datatables.net/tn/4

Are there really only 2 or 3 guys who have Dashboard problem after upgrading to latest version of Minera?

I'm talking about this message: I can't get the stats from your minerd. Please try to refresh the page or check your settings (minerd API must listen on 127.0.0.1:4028).

I m having same problem. RPI with latest commit
Is it possible to roll-back to previous version?

What kind of hardware do you have connected? This error typically means Minera can't get the stats from minerd while it is running, try to investigate the logs. Generally it's hard to give you support only viewing the General Error I wrote in the code...

@lexmine yep thanks

I have 5 G-Blades conected to each Rasp Pi.  Would a cpumine.log from \/var\/log\/minera\/cpuminer.log be of any help? I'm quite fresh in Linux area :S
Please note the other Raspberrys with older Minera version are doing fine with stats.

EDIT: here is cpuminer.log if anone can spot a problem from. I honestly don't.  https://www.dropbox.com/s/54ar6zix5o122jj/cpuminer.log
