The whole thing is so confusing, why are they making it more confusing when it's such a simple process to import a single device.....
In Australia we only fill out a declaration when the product arrives and submit it electronically.. Why are we supposed to send this form to Minerwarez ? The customs officer told me you only fill it out when the product arrives and write down the shipment ref nr for receipt of items. I don't see why we need to send this paper to the exporter it's not their business.
And for labeling ? In the requirements it is said for electronic goods you only need to type the product description in clear English, include origin country and HS code and that's it. So in my case I'm just supposed to send an A4 paper with description and originating country ? I told them to write it on the box and haven't got any reply. Seriously how hard could it be to just grab a pen and write 3 words instead I'm asked to send an international priority letter writing it for them. Also auspost said they don't have a label for importing. Just wtf is going on !!?
