They didn't share the source code ? I thought they did.

Also I think "bitcoinMiner" is a generic warning for all coins miner, and MNX core include its own miner.

The thing which is strange is that there is a file in src with a bitcoinminer https://github.com/minexcoin/minexcoin/blob/master/src/miner.cpp (specified in comment)

I specify I don't understand cpp code, so I just figure this out, but I can't say anything about it.

PS: As pointed out the source code is available at hub.com/minexcoin/minexcoin and nobody has raised the alarms, I took a look myself and even when I'm not an expert, I didn't see anything fishy

Becarefull of this coin, someone at telegram said he lost all of bitcoin after installing this wallet

Hi, got repeated problem when mining - Windows wallet being in a mining state always get frozen when I try to close it. So I need to kill the entire running process to close wallet window. Is this a bug?

No, the difficulty was for for a hash power of around 1000 hps (from what I can see now) and we only had around 45 hps last week, that hps was increasing very slowly up to 130 hps this morning, when things started to improve big time (1088 hps right now).

I will wait until around block 1900 (just mined #1426, you can see it at http://minexexplorer.com) when the difficulty gets adjusted, if the difficulty gets reduced a bit your will start to get a chance

I assumed that the developers took some of the funds from the ICO and fired up a few hundred of Virtual Machines, the hash rate increase has been very slow, but steady during the day.

And I think that they needed to do it, they want to launch the 9th, but generating one block every 2 hours didn't allow to launch it.

The big issue that I have with that project is the lack of proper communication, one or too blog posts every week that only address the issues in a very superficial way is not enough, specially if you are falling behind your own schedule.
