The problem with online gambling is that casinos don't know who the users are so underage children can easily gamble using online casinos. If they know about crypto, they will probably use crypto casinos more often to gamble because crypto casinos are better able to hide the identities of their customers so they can gamble freely. Adults around them will also not know what they are doing because with easy access to the internet and underage children being able to access crypto casinos using their smartphones, they can gamble freely. But when it's time to verify their gambling account, they might borrow an ID card from an adult to find their account has been verified easily.
It is because of the need to know the exact age of gamblers that some online casinos do ask their customers to complete their KYC before they can fully be able to gamble on their platform. Sometimes people misunderstand the reasons behind the request for KYC but I think the age factor is one of them.
Children under 18 aren't supposed to be allowed to gamble wether online or offline because they are believed to be mentally immature to engage in gambling as most of them are not mentally strong enough to handle the negative effects of gambling. So I think every adult who notices any form of gambling engagement from children should do everything possible to discourage them from gambling in other to save their future.

Well exactly, I also assume and have a fairly reasonable belief that indeed the purpose of the casino implementing the KYC system is to avoid those children who are still underage so as not to get involved in gambling. On the other hand I think with this it can be concluded that casinos are not as evil as we think, they are not greedy in terms of looking for members by applying such requirements which are nothing but to limit every child who is underage, even though on the other hand they could have benefited more by removing KYC regulations because it is very possible that minors can also be involved in gambling with gambling which in fact is now increasingly easy to find, especially those based online..

Of course this restriction will be very useful, it seems that casinos are still thinking about the future of minors by implementing the KYC system, because from a mental and psychological point of view for children under 18 it is very easy to absorb new things that come to them, and on the other hand they also have a high level of curiosity. So it is very dangerous if the mindset of children at their age is trapped in gambling because their future will be at stake. Basically the role of both parents is also very important in this matter, I hope they will be able to guard, limiit and guide their children so that they are not misguided.

Government are the ones who are really that minding about this kind of problem on which they would really be that imposing such kyc implementation into these businesses for it to avoid
those common reasons which it would be speaking about money laundering and the other is to avoid to those minors to play gambling on which these are the things i do mainly see that
why KYC is really that implemented. I dont know on why people do really that putting too much issue on KYC which we should really be that at least appreciate on whats the primary reason on why it is there. In speaking about minimum age then we do know that it is really that something that play around 18-21 years old on which we could really be able to stick up with those legal
age but in todays era or technology and accessibility then tons of young people would really be that possible to get engage with gambling. You cant really be be able to
stop that considering that bypassing is really that easy.

While asking gamblers to pass an identity check will in a way reduce the number of kids that can gamble, at the same time I do not think it could be that helpful, and that is because kids could still gamble while using the account of their parents or use their documents to open an account on their name and gamble that way, so kids need to be taught that gambling is simply not for them and that they need to stay away from it as they are not ready to take part in such an activity.

It would be better to check live then those who are younger will be caught easily you can't hide your information and it will come out. Nowadays it is really difficult to guess whether they are adults or not even if they are asked to do kyc through online gambling. Many minors gamble on mobile phones those who are minors whose intelligence is very sharp they submit the information with another's ID card in this case even if the casino verifies through kyc they will not understand whether they are minors.

I came across an article How Old Do You Have to Be to Gamble in USA?. In this article, i saw that the minimum age to gamble is between 18 to 21 years. I wonder if the online casino do follow this minimum age for gambling.
The only way to do that is through their KYC, the casino can opt to do KYC after the signup or if the players are cashing out, there is no way for an online casino to trace or know the age of those who sign up to their platform, they can only take action if they can prove that the one playing is really underage and this is through KYC.
Usually, the casino will ask its users to do KYC when the user wants to cash out and has exceeded the daily withdrawal limit. And it's like the casino gets underage people who have gambled at the casino, but they can't withdraw their money because the casino rejected the KYC problem. But if underage users only gamble moderately and do not exceed the limits, they may not be asked to do KYC by the casino. The casino will never know whether the users are minors or adults before the casino asks them to do KYC. Everything will be visible during the KYC process, but there may be underage children who use the identities of adults around them so they can pass the verification process. If that's the case, it seems that casinos need to implement online checks or live verification on their users to find out whether they are really adults or minors.

       -   I think that what you are saying is okay with me. It is better to educate others who are not yet adults so that they know or have awareness of the consequences of gambling in the casino. So that, at least in this matter, they will be aware that if they try it, they can be harmed if it is not used properly and correctly.

Juveniles behave differently in reality. And they are also so full of curiosity that once it exists, they will not stop until they try it. So self-discipline is still needed in this situation.
If you can educate other people not to approach gambling, at least they can be aware of the dangers of gambling that can be experienced by them so that they will completely stay away from gambling. They will not want to try gambling even if it is an invitation from their friends because they already know the consequences of gambling for their finances. They will also advise their other friends to reduce their gambling activities, especially if they find that their friends are starting to exceed their limits in gambling.

Teenagers can be influenced by their friends and will follow their invitations to gamble because they don't really know the risks of gambling. They also don't have much self-control because when they are teenagers, they are still very unstable and easily tempted by the influence of their friends. This is what parents must be aware of so that they can monitor their children's interactions.

Age was also discussed there and the rate of 18-25 years old young men getting into gambling is currently going through the roof. So yes minimum age to gamble, it is difficult because I think any adjustments of minimum ages for either alcohol or smoking hasn't really changed much either. If there is a way to do something, people will try it out. I think it should never be too low, but hoping that minimum ages change entire social landscapes is a broken dream.
Age isn't a measurement on the maturity of a person so restriction on gambling and other vices is utterly useless because it maturity of a person on mind and behavior is different for each and everyone. What really needs to be done if we really want to prevent people from gambling too early or doing vices too early is to teach them basic responsibility and not in a way that teaches them using boring videos about the negative effects portrayed by art students that needs to do it for extra credit, also it's worth mentioning that a stricter and more stern punishment for illegal gambling will help big time in preventing early introduction to gambling. If you ask me, there should be no minimum age and as I have said earlier, the metric should be on how mature a person is and not their age because it can be deceiving.
Maybe it would be better if there was education about gambling for young people because they are vulnerable to finding wrong information if they are not accompanied by people who understand gambling. They can find what they want from many places and will find out more about gambling or other things that may not be appropriate for them. Maybe the regulations regarding gambling need to be changed to keep up with the times because, nowadays, everything has changed with increasingly advanced technology. Providing counseling or explaining many things about the risks, impacts and dangers of gambling can help children understand it easily and they know how to react to it. Teenagers are very vulnerable to all the temptations they see and they tend to follow them to see how it feels. What's dangerous is that teenagers often lose control when they gamble. Even though adults experience this, teenagers are still unstable in their thinking and often do what they like.

What you say is very important, obviously at some point we have come across people who are very old, but their chronological age is Younger, just as we have come across people who are very young and who have a The mentality is very big, very tall, and that tends to make him/her appear to have very great maturity, and that is not enough for those who have that capacity. There are people who, at a young age, have degrees of Maturity , of high Knowledge , for me that has to do with Maturity , that's why it has to be older, the age yes, the age for some people to be minimum is known to have to be 18 years old, in some Countries it is taken as an age Greater than 21 years old, maybe There is more maurez there, but when we are doing another type of Activity where casinos have to do With the Spending of money, or the manipulation of money, it is something delicate, this has a lot to do with the quality of person you can become. .

There are people who are Inside a casino and who are old, over 40, 50, and have a very volatile value of money, they enter a casino and they can't do anything else but win a lot of money and lose it, but they don't. They have no kind of shame in losing it because they don't give it importance, then in this type of activity we see the maturity of the person, an 18 year old person can have a unique sense of money, which can show a lot of Interest , for Therefore , if he enters your casino, he does not know that the money he could risk Could lose too much, so on the other hand he can take great care of it and if he sees that he can multiply it, rather if he can raise it to a minimum he will not hesitate to withdraw that money, because yes, he will have much more and with this Goal it Could Possibly help you to do your thing, in this order of departures we can say that maturity is another thing, but the minimum age to play is already pre-established in the majority of players, because He is 18 years Old.

Yes, the gambling sites have our age data through the KYC documents. Do they ever restrict anyone who is underage to not to gamble?
Also, if we find any site allowing minors to gamble, can legal action be taken against them?
Yes if the casino has a license, its license can be revoked and it can be charged if the complainants and the casino are also in the same jurisdiction, the court is very strict in implementing minors in the casino platforms and they can be charged with corruption of minors, the casino should follow what's on their terms too because they are under strict compliance.

I think the gambling age should be raised even higher because we realize later that the decisions we make at an early age affect us in our future life. Therefore, when we have this habit at an early age, we sometimes get into the business of gambling with money that will be large sums of money for ourselves. This gives us the chance to lose maybe money or maybe different things. That's why I think the gambling age should be higher than 21.
Gambling sites have set a minimum age limit for gamblers but the gamblers themselves do not make those rules but school and college students below 18 years of age are involved in gambling. Especially when young children use mobile phones or PCs or tablets, they willingly participate in gambling, thereby spoiling their education and causing mental damage. Although Guardian Mahal is always worried about this addiction of children but they have nothing to do afterwards. Therefore, the minimum age limit in casinos or gambling sites should be 21 years or more so that boys and girls cannot participate in schools and colleges.

Yes, they ignore these rules, in my opinion, it is natural that anyone can play gambling, because with the capital of gadgets and the existence of an internet connection it has given them the opportunity to gamble, even children who are still underage can do it if they already know how to gamble, the importance of parental supervision so that their children do not enter the world of gambling, access to gambling is now getting easier, with the existence of online gambling this makes all groups able to play it regardless of gender, age, or ethnicity. They can all play it if they understand how to gamble.

Although gambling sets a minimum age limit, this will not affect. As long as they already understand how to gamble and when they see gambling advertisements on the internet, maybe they will try it. With the initial intention of just "trying", what I'm afraid of is that with the beginning of trying over time they will get hooked and become addicted. As you said, even children seem to have the opportunity to do something like this because now many small children are always playing PCs and cellphones. It's just that they have no curiosity about gambling yet. So their parents should be able to monitor things when they play cell phones, because no one knows what is in people's minds.
Isnt it a very important matter? People of all ages are exposed to gambling these days because everyone has a gadget and the internet, which opens up a world of opportunities. Not only is it about gambling, but its also about how influence can spread through outlets that seem harmless. When young minds are "trying" to explore, something that starts as an interest can quickly turn into an addiction that wont go away.

Like you said, parental guidance is very important. Its very important, right? Its just as hard, though. Caregivers have a big duty to be careful and always watch what their kids are doing online. But the issue is more complex, isnt it? Its not enough to just keep an eye on things; you need to create an atmosphere of trust and open communication so that a "try" doesnt turn into a lifelong habit.

Yes because of that, with those who now every day cannot be far from cell phones and the internet, they are vulnerable to gambling, because surely there are gambling advertisements or their friends who invite and attract gambling, with the beginning who want to try over time they will be interested so that addiction occurs. Those who cannot control themselves will easily be attracted to gambling, such as those who are stressed or what when they see gambling advertisements on the internet they can be attracted because they are not in a good condition, from here they will get addicted to gambling. Whether it's young people or parents, even school children can also be interested in gambling.

Yes, it is important, guidance and monitoring from parents is very important because if they let it go freely there is a possibility that children can access sites that are not good. Trust of course must be there but not by letting children free with their world because the association will determine the future for children. So I myself think it is important that parents supervise their children, don't let them fall into negative things.

That's a slippery slope though, introducing them to gambling in the hopes of educating them the consequences of doing at an early age is going to end up with the education being a gateway for them, you have to understand that children are a curious bunch and that education might end up having them trying it out instead, I believe that there are other ways to instill to children the virtue of discipline and being a responsible person in general.

Regarding regulation, it's another can of worms because not every politician can just make those regulations much stricter because gambling industry is a business, there's bound to be a lobbying or as I like to call it; the legal bribery that's going to happen that will make sure that those old and relaxed regulations will stay.
Well, it depends on each parent's view of their children because they know best what their children's nature and character are. If they think introducing gambling is a good way to prevent them from the problems that gamblers often face during gambling, parents can use these methods. But if parents think that they don't need to introduce gambling to their minor children, they don't need to do it so that their children don't become curious about gambling.

Government regulations should have been changed because they may no longer be relevant to current developments. Moreover, with the increasing growth of the internet, regulators have to re-examine every regulation. Maybe there will be an adjustment to the minimum age allowed for gambling so that this will be a restriction for children who are not yet adults so that they do not gamble. Apart from that, if they are caught gambling, they can be sent to a rehabilitation center to check their mental condition and ensure that they do not have a gambling addiction.

I believe for most online casinos which are not strict with their kyc requirements, some underage may have been playing.
Those casinos that very much strict on their KYC are only for the withdrawal process and not for age. I have not seen such case here the forum but a lot of cases on the withdrawal restriction. Normally offline casinos and sports Bet centers boldly and clearly written that it is only allow 18+ to play games in their sportsbooks centers. So if a teenager went there they would asked him to go back because they would see the stature and people might know him the environment. But for the online casinos, since they are not seen them they would accept them to play.

I know that in every country there is a minimum age for a youngster to be able to jump-in to gambling like the legal age of 17 but I can see as young as 10-15 who are involved in illegal gambling. I think they were influenced by those who are irresponsible illegal gamblers that let these kids watch their sessions.

It's saddening to read that there are minors who are exposed to gambling. People at a young age should stay away from gambling so that they'll be protected from the repercussions of it especially they haven't built themselves yet. There are still a lot of things to learn before diving into gambling industry and this includes but not limited to the benefits and the disadvantages gambling brings into one's life. Hopefully, parents will guide these youngsters so that they won't be addicted in gambling. Letting these kids be aware of the cons of gambling might help them be discouraged to continue gambling.

If you personally know some minors who are into gambling, please be a concern citizen that will tell them the dark side of it. Since most probably, they were introduced to it in a good light that's why they became curious and encouraged to play and bet despite it being illegal. The percentage of minors who managed to play and gamble despite the strict age limit just shows that some measures done by gambling websites aren't strong enough to keep them away.

I haven't been talking about age and its meaningfulness for maturity. I was talking about a documentary that is based on scientific evidence conducted by British researchers who gathered data and found that the group of 18-25 years old young men outpaces every other group in annual growth. I wasn't talking about maturity. And the documentary hasn't been produced by some art students. There is plenty of scientific research, quite a bit of which has been conducted in Great Britain. You can google for it and try to capture the findings by cross-reading or giving yourself the whole thing.

I know that in every country there is a minimum age for a youngster to be able to jump-in to gambling like the legal age of 17 but I can see as young as 10-15 who are involved in illegal gambling. I think they were influenced by those who are irresponsible illegal gamblers that let these kids watch their sessions.

Florida and california seems to be the youngest age of them all though the age is 18 in which a legal age to be considered ,
but the problem about the question is how can we find young players in an casino?

Imho the bigger problem is that why there is 3 year gap in different states and why someone think that 17yo kid is less prepared for gambling world and responsibility than 18yo or 21yo kids. KYC is not a problem here. Everyone cheat their age in casinos, same as casinos barely takes that age check procedure seriously, as they focus on money than on the age. I mean how can a 17yo isnt allowed to gamble, when he is already allowed to drive car and works, compared to a some kind of a 30yo adult, that lives with his parents and all he does is playing video games? Offline casinos better have a kind of a mental check, than simple ID and age check.

I came across an article How Old Do You Have to Be to Gamble in USA?. In this article, i saw that the minimum age to gamble is between 18 to 21 years. I wonder if the online casino do follow this minimum age for gambling.

Yes, the gambling sites have our age data through the KYC documents. Do they ever restrict anyone who is underage to not to gamble?
Also, if we find any site allowing minors to gamble, can legal action be taken against them?

but if there is a clear violation then yes then they must be taken into a legal battle because they are violating the law and no one is above that.
