You omitted the only important thing in your question which is what CPU you have. There's no difference between mining with laptop CPUs or desktop/server CPUs other than the thermals (you're a lot more limited with the laptop in terms of cooling), so any guide written for CPU mining will apply to you as well. Download a miner (xmr-stak, for example), and point it to the pool — that's pretty much the whole "guide". Cheesy All the instructions (number of threads, enabling large pages etc) come with the miner.

Hey Guys Im interested in possibly mining monero with my cpu on a laptop. I'm currently mining zoin but I heard you can mine monero as well with a cpu. Is it still possible to mine it and also does anyone know where I can find a how to guide for mining it with windows 10?

Thanks

If you have 8 core i7 laptop, you can mine about 20 cents a day, but you have to keep in mind cost of laptop repair, as
on average it'll die after about 9 days
