still don't see how it is profitable. like others said, people will get IOS/android installed on their computers and use asics to mine. anyway it will run your battery out very very fast.

I think that all things have intention. Smartphone is for calls messages surfing. But ones photo camera was independent device. And now many people got only phone camera. Maybe sometimes we will got miners on our smartphone, and get money surfing Internet playing games, watching Instagram

It is possible, but not profitable. If you are using the phones power to mine, you will just end up overheating your phone or worst, explode. For that reason, mobile mining is really not advisable but you can still do cloud mining wherein you can just leave it even when offline, but only it will ask you for some amount for maintenance.

When I first heard about this, I laughed, but then I began to understand that in the synergy of phones, such a probability exists, because there are cloud capacities, so if this really is wanted, then this can be achieved

I doubt that there is a crypto that can be mined by a mobile device and even if there is it will not be profitable regardless of the mobile devices specs because it will always be a fraction of a GPUs raw performance. Also the mobile device would only overheat because of the stress and heat that the hardware will do while mining.

Really? I can't even imagine a mining rig doing the POW thing without proper ventilation or air conditioning. I even tried mining using my laptop and it looks like it's smoke is going to come out at any point of time after it heats up so intensely. I am afraid mining using phone can be so dangerous that it might come to the point that it will explode. Just an opinion though.

I am still a CPU miner. I mine using laptop. I haven't invested in GPUs yet. It's been more than six months since I am mining (some laptops 24x7) and haven't had any issues. I have mined enough to replace those laptops (because of recent price rise) and to build a small rig. The thing is you shouldn't run all the threads of your laptop. I always run at 50 to 70%.

Would you be interested in a cryptocurrency with its own blockchain that can easily be mined on both android and iOS phones?

In fact if we dig through a cell phone that could have been done but will the results we can be the same as when we are in front of the monitor directly. I think mine from your phone it will be more difficult because certainly won't satisfy as well as better you use direct mining machine in order to be better. and if we use your mobile phone must use the phone features feature-completeness of adequate and sophisticated.

Thank you for your sharing Smiley I'm interested in them, however, is it possible for all kind of phone or just some that are strong enough and I also worry about lifetime of phone when performing this

Of course, The phone is not build to long last in mining and this is not for mining even it can do. Good luck to your phone if you want to use for mining.

It seems unlikely if we want to do mining through Mobile because, mining to get Bitcoin it must have an above average capacity, and requires a very large power for a piece of hardware used to mine. Maybe we can mine through the phone with a certain website like income from the faucet but it is very low income and I think it will waste our work time. Maybe you should buy a special hardware for mining if you want to mine with extra capacity.

If you have an old phone you can try mining on it. When I joined the crypto world, I used to mine Myriad on my phone using NeoNeon Android App. I was using my galaxy s4 since I upgraded to s5.

Nope I won't be interested at all. Smartphones already discharge so fast and mining would Detroit their battery life and overall health even faster. Phones are just not built for mining. Mining produces a lot of heat and phones have no way to get rid of it. So no matter how mobile friendly mining blockchain you make, it will eventually be not successful, especially when the mining difficulty increases.

better to use the pc only if doing mining to get results and more convenient. When using a mobile phone then it is a pity because it was too heavy to use the application and don't get too comfortable, too.

That will never be happened, as you can see a lot of the mining rig has used the vga as the minimum requirement to mine altcoin and that can't run in the mobile device, or that will be exploded.
Have you heard of the project Envion?  Its mobile mining they're trying to bring to play.  They already have working MMUs and are making waves in their tokensale. It's very possible if they deliver what they intend to. Check up on the project if you can. You  will understand more.

it's hard to minimize the mobile because it damages the system in your cellphone it's better to just mince your own pc or buy atlcoin mining like eth mining because you're getting your investment when you buy eth mining

probably i'm not too interest something like this
mining on smartphone  is not recommend and just wasting a time also unprofitable i think, it just reduce your phone lifetime...
 Embarrassed
before that we all got a burn smartphone before gain any profit from it. how it will reduce the heat from smartphones as we all used it for daily used? the batteries? if only you got smartphones to be wasted then feel free to tested it. i will wait for that day to come.

I am really interested in phone mining but I am also skeptical if it can be done. Hopefully, they can create a miner that won't burn our phones.
