Would you be interested in a cryptocurrency with its own blockchain that can easily be mined on both android and iOS phones?

probably i'm not too interest something like this
mining on smartphone  is not recommend and just wasting a time also unprofitable i think, it just reduce your phone lifetime...

It would be pretty convenient since Smart Phones are way cheaper than the RIG we bought for our hardware to be used as a mining tool. It's an interesting Idea that mining bitcoin is that easy by using Smart Phones esp Android and iOS.

That might be a very good idea but on the other hand we also have to think that mining should have a device that has a high specification. Like ordinary mining is done by mining rig that has a high VGA and requires a lot of power supply to run a mining rig only.

It is very nice . it makes everyone easy to get bitcoin. So every time bitcoin is in the grip. just ask, is mining in mobile safe? in the sense of being safe from loss and security to the phone itself from damage. Because with the mining on the phone means to impose the performance of the phone itself. because the phone has many limitations.

How can is it possible? There haven’t any mobile devices for crypto mining Grin
I also think that this is not true, because there is no video card and the processor is very weak. There it will not be possible to mine, therefore probably it is more made that about it simply spoke. But of course it's of no use to this

Yes, I am! But I know exactly which one you would like to promote  Roll Eyes  Grin 1 november will be the start date for the mobile miner, I'm curious if it will be profitable!

Well, me too. I only knew mining in the computer but not in mobile phone and it makes me wonder if it really profitable how would it be  possible.
Until recently, I thought that it was possible to be engaged in mining only with a graphics card or processor, then I learned that it was possible and a hard disk. Why not use the phone for this?

Electroneum has that kind of thing but it will really take too long to get more cash but sooner or later it will be worth it

Electroneum was a bust, because they stopped mobile mining.
The reason is the security on mobile phones which is not good.
Electroneum opened the registration for the Mobile Mining Experience Beta. They will return to the game for sure.

Recently I've found TravelFlex project. They claim the ability of mining on phones + they will change an algorithm to DAG at the end of 2018. Plus they have already raised more than a half from hard cap atm.

That's a very interesting concept, but how could it be profitable using low power devices?

thanks for your comment davey!

well I do not only mean Electroneum (that I am indeed promoting) but generally the idea of mining on a mobile phone.

With conventional crypto currencies real and valuable mining is not possible.

Everyone's on mobile now, I think it could be great if I can mine right on my phone.
My friends who aren't into crypto would most likely be interested in this too.

If you show them a mining rig they just laugh and don't get it. It's something entirely different for them if they can easily mine from their phones. My girlfriend would even do it, and I'd tell my dad to mine too
Surely it will attract many users to the crypto world...I am interested...is their any method in the present?

I think mining on mobile devices is useless, because it's not profitable. Mobile device not so powerful as asic. Maybe in future mobile devices will get such power, but mining will be unprofitable at this time.

Mining should require high specifications to get great results and I know mobile phones do not have it too. and it's only owned by computers.

mining through mobile it's not possible because mobile phones are not having processor or grafic's or memory capacity to mine. so i think not possible doing mining through phone.

the main issue with this concept is scalability, at the end of the day there's a lot more smartphone users and people willing to dedicate their resources to a network like this then there are miners or even bots on a botnet for mining... unless you leave the difficulty set in a way where it doesn't retarget (which would be very bad economically for the coin) it would never scale due to the rapid use of the network the only person who would profit in the end is the largest coin holders at the end of the retarget that finally makes it no longer viable for a smartphone to mine.

Well if that would be upgraded then that would be nice. I think if there would time that it would happen on some mobile phones like android and IOS it will be like some computers that run same as it's GPU. If GPU of every mobile would be upgraded like of the computer use for mine even just a Pentium one or lower specs that can mine then that would be as expected.

I don't think it is profitable to use mobile phones for mining purposes. It will lag your phone easily and will unprocessed other applications. It needs high specifications of the processor to function it very well. We should install higher speed, higher MHz and also volume storage of running apps.
