I guess this could be the future, since less and less people use a computer and more an more people use smartphones and they become more and more powerful.

Batteries will improve in future. Lots of development goes into how store energy.  But that is quite far away. One year in crypto is a lot. Three years are huge. I dont see useful mobile mining in three years time.

you are going to broke your mobile soon if you are goin gto mine on your mobile.

Nowadays GPU miners are suffering to mine more coins using strong machines. you are asking mobile mining i think you will lose your mobile and it is not possible to mine a good coin using mobile phones. one more thing keep it in mind when you do mining using your mobile, there is a possibility to hack your mobile phone.

Its a not so good idea - to mine from phones. Its has not a mush power, so you can just a buy PC for mining. Think about.

Electroneum has an app that will allow you to mine with the phone. For the moment you can use it only as a wallet but they state that it will up an running by the end of the year. Because it will be a simulated mining you will not use the resources of the phone but you will get you`re coins in the wallet.
Download the app and wait for the update that will allow the mining. From my knowlege they released only android for the moment but plan to release for IOS too.

Would you be interested in a cryptocurrency with its own blockchain that can easily be mined on both android and iOS phones?
Uh no, because phone isn't a device that is built for mining and it will wear the phone life faster if you use it for heavy activity like mining and you won't get anything worth from mining with it. A cheap gpu probably several times better than mining with phone.

A mobile phone is not intended for mining due to the mobile architecture. If you do this you will probably have to buy a new smartphone soon) Now the very high complexity of mining so it's impossible and not necessary at the moment.

I don't think you can do mining in mobile phones. Because you need to have an Application Specific Integrated Circuits or ASIC and the Graphical Processing Units or GPU to be able to do the mining, which cannot be found in mobile devices.

If and without mining, the androids are discharged very quickly and are heated when working with applications with high power consumption, then with the fire they start to breathe with fire)))

Mining on mobile phones is not possible at present, it requires special equipment to have effective way of generating tokens. Even a normal computer is not possible to mine in an efficient manner. Maybe the cloud based mining seems to be possible with mobile. Very few cloud mining were legitimate.

Mobile phones are so insecure, I'd be super hesitant to use this. On top of that, I can't imagine this tech making it into the IOS world, since they always are super picky about what makes it into the app store. I'll save my mining for my PC and keep it at that.

For the rest of the public though, maybe it makes sense. We never turn our phones off anyways and if it's POS then it shouldn't take any extra battery power, right? PoW would seem to be impossible on devices, I'd think. This could be a pretty good way to get more people involved in crypto, since phones sell more than computers anyways, but the dangers might freak some people out. I'm interested to see where this goes in the future, considering that what I have to say has no affect on anyone and they'll do it anyways, lol!

That will never be happened, as you can see a lot of the mining rig has used the vga as the minimum requirement to mine altcoin and that can't run in the mobile device, or that will be exploded.
has a point.and would be the miners let this thing happens?after spending
lots of money for the mining apparatus suddenly it will be available in androids and
iOS?talk to turtle this is another story to tell issue.that is impossible we should be
aware of whats this thread is all about

I've tried several applications that provide tools to do mining in HP, but I immediately uninstall it after 24 hours, because I think it does not produce good results

For mining on your mobile phone, you need to charge the battery several times a day. Because of this, the battery life will decrease many times. Because in modern smartphones the batteries are not replaceable, the phone will have to be thrown out much earlier than the estimated service life.

It seems unlikely if we want to do mining through Mobile because, mining to get Bitcoin it must have an above average capacity, and requires a very large power for a piece of hardware used to mine. Maybe we can mine through the phone with a certain website like income from the faucet but it is very low income and I think it will waste our work time. Maybe you should buy a special hardware for mining if you want to mine with extra capacity.

If it is exclusive to only mining on mobile then its a cool idea but if not then what's the point?
