I don't really see where is the problem.

New alt coins have different structure and mobile mining is easily possible.
New phones like Xperia ZS are way more powerful than lots of PC's 4-5 years old.

Plus there is always the android emulator for pc if needed more power Smiley

Like others and you have said, there's always PC emulation for more power. Since money is money, there will be people who will try to maximize their gains by probably using multicore server processors like the Xeon series to completely out compete the performance of mobile phone. Plus if there's just a massive flood of mobile users in the millions, what kind of profit will they earn? Won't this cause inflation?

You've also said that it's incorrect to compare bitcoin/etherum mining to alt coin mining due to difficulty. Sure it may be easier but wouldn't it just cause a massive flood of tokens which ultimately drives to price to nothing (again inflation)?

Think about if this coin can be exchanged with money in some games, let's say like clash of clans. You will have millions of people downloading it and running it on background. Many apps do that, like pacer, the step counter.

I think tackling the microtransaction industry of mobile gaming with cryptocurrency is interesting though as lots of money is already being pumped by mobile gamers.

Would you be interested in a cryptocurrency with its own blockchain that can easily be mined on both android and iOS phones?
That would be a good innovations as  alternative way mining but I can't figured it out if this could be run for long. Anyway, there is nothing to happen of trying, maybe it could be effective just like in mining industries that using a large numbers of CPU..

Mining should require high specifications to get great results and I know mobile phones do not have it too. And it's only owned by computers. I think mining via mobile phone is not very affective and just make your mobile phone is broken.

I don't really see where is the problem.
You are comparing mining referred to bitcoin or ethereum which is obviously now very hard and requires lots of power because trillions of people are doing it.
I've seen a farm in china with 15.000 S9 producing 48 bitcoin an hour... absolutely ridicolous amount.

New alt coins have different structure and mobile mining is easily possible.
New phones like Xperia ZS are way more powerful than lots of PC's 4-5 years old.

It's possible, obviously the mining on mobile will never bring your cpu up to 100%, it will just run on background using a part of it, let's say maybe just two cores on 8 or 16 of your phone. But an app like this can be very very powerfull and add value to the company and making it popular as well.

Think about if this coin can be exchanged with money in some games, let's say like clash of clans. You will have millions of people downloading it and running it on background. Many apps do that, like pacer, the step counter.

Mining is just mathematical calculation, and mobile phones are able to do that easily.

Plus there is always the android emulator for pc if needed more power Smiley

Don't think it will be worth to dig into this, because of the power consumption. You will start the miner and it will basically suck all power out of your phone.
If you got a solution for this, then hell yeah, the stage is yours Cheesy

You can switch mining on every night when the phone is plugged to power

It is a utopia. Mobile phone can never handle with the required amount of information. Maybe his power is enough at the initial stage, but as the growing popularity of altcoins, it will be impossible. I have seen such proposals, but it is always a Scam. I don't believe them.

Perhaps it could be impossible today, I don't think it's a utopia. Don't forget smartphones become more powerful every year and there are MANY smartphones.

Mining on mobile phone is absolutely inefficient and the whole idea is not worth considering for two major and really important reasons:

1) None of the new cellphones are designed to work at their highest rate 24/7 you'll face either throttling (which will decrease the mining speed greatly and eventually will destroy both your CPU (as it cannot work 24/7)+ your battery (as it will be loosing power and due to constant charging will loose the whole of it's capacity. However, by altering your micros you will be able to avoid throttling and the CPU will go on working at it's top speed, which will lead to overheating of the phone and will eventually damage it or even lead to the explosion of the battery.

2) Android can be installed on a PC, so semi-professional mining farms will be introduced for this cryptocurrency. They will be by far more efficient than any of cellphones and will make the mining process by far to difficult for smartphones.

As I've sad- the idea, despite seeming reasonable, is not reasonable at all

This sums it all. Mostly Mining on mobile phone is not efficient as it will just broke down your phone and I think even if it doesnt break your phone it will not profitable at all as we know that the power of a mobile phone is lower compared to the mining rigs that was created to mine.

Mining is the power full energy it not use the phone it not good idea. If affect the mobile and process will downe and low process. Mining is better to use the system. So mining need cooling place. It handling the care and follow the mining process and learn it.

How ever theres a lot of factors where you can use of mobile phones in mining. a big x mark for me if they use the mobile phone's power to operate mining but let's see the bigger picture. we know that cloud mining can be accessible at phone and I think this will be the best for now on mobile devices.

Mobile phone consumes lots of power and I am certain that power batteries maybe dead within long duration of time specially when mining. But the current idea for that is comfortable to miners so far if they are going to operate mining in a mobile and handy technology. So this must be studied deeply with a progressive research maybe they can come to a point of an advantages although if talking mobility of a mining, power of mobile devices really depend on battery life. Hopefully the battery type and ampere hour rating also be extended for long time usage.

I think it's very difficult to happen even the current highest smartphone's specs will not be able to mine. Mining will only be available if you have a mining rig with some VGA cards.

Yes it would be a great Opportunity to mine coin through Phones.
but it is Impossible because of the Battery.
main cause of Phone to be broken.
and it is not easy to Operate a phone . not like a PC that has a good Ram and Huge Storage.
and i can say that you can't Mine Coins through Phone.

This is interesting, if this is possible then there are more mining crypto currencies in every mobile but let's see what and how much would be the income or coins generated, if it is too small then people will absolutely disregard this thing because surely it will consume a lot of processing and the power will definitely drained after few minutes of mining.
Of course the income is too small or else everyone will start to mine coins in there mobile phones. and moreover if you start to mine coins from your handset it burns in few days.

It would truly be an extraordinary development or undertaking if this thing would truly be conceivable however thinking off on the things with respect to on mining I dont believe that this thing will occur as we looked at or see the things required on mining either on bitcoin or on alts you would truly require a committed excavator for them and I cannot see that equipment of cell phones could ready to support mining. It will definitely be exhausted and warm up effectively. The real pick up would be little on the off chance that you are discussing ordinary crypto or bitcoin itself and it will simply destroy your contraptions if this happen the individuals who contribute with mining apparatus will be at their misfortune, I don't know whether this can be conceivable by utilizing applications like nicehash inside your cell phones.

Minning with mobile phone can be impressive because this is a tool that we are using 24/7. In the other hand could a smart phone with the actual capicity of the batteries mine for a long period of time?

I don't know. It could shorten your battery life and CPU life. I mean, mobile phones are not designed for mining neither are their CPUs. I'm expecting soon manufacturers to add a clause in their TOS for disallowing mining and void the warranty on mining.
