The smartphone is not profitable for mining a project like electronoum who had vision "introduction" mining via smartphone, in my opinion it is wasting their time, although maybe you can make an coin that can only be mined only on smartphone, well even if it achievable its to hard to prevent a person who running emulator inside their rig

Everybody would be interested to such an innovation and it would be easy for mobile users to mine cryptocurrency in their pocket.
But a notable point is this that mining needs a special hardware, how can a mobile phone sustain hours of work?
Don't you think it would heat up the  cpu of the phone and cause  harm to our personal data?
The smartphones were meant for specific functions. In future specific smartphone for mining purpose might gets innovated same as that Asics got into usage. Right now if something is incorporated for the mining purpose along with the mobile it's not at all possible to minimize any form of altcoin.

If any project is promoting and marketing  mining on mobile for I dare say that could be a scam. How will mobile handle minimum requirement of mining and all. People should becareful with all these claim that are not sensible.

Would you be interested in a cryptocurrency with its own blockchain that can easily be mined on both android and iOS phones?
That will never be happened, as you can see a lot of the mining rig has used the vga as the minimum requirement to mine altcoin and that can't run in the mobile device, or that will be exploded.
I agree with you. Coin mining in android or ios is very impossible, especially with the amount of memory space needed to do so. You need at least terabytes of memory to do the mining. I haven't seen yet any mobile device with such amount of space/memory. The phone's battery won't also be able to carry the workload to do mining, and it will really make it to bloat and explode.

It is not possible to mine any crypto through mobile right now because of high mining difficulty of almost all coin and if there will be some new coin out there in future, than it will be not worth to mine because mining difficulty for it can increase insanely high in no time.

Some cloud mining platform are developing mobile apps for their service but that can't be referred as mobile mining.
if its can be real its great news i think same difficult and impossible on mining in mobile phone..mobilephone with computer + rig not same and i think can't run the same

There would be no doubt that this would be very interesting and so many people would be interested in it. People cryptopages now want to see interesting things, and the coins who take the steps for it will definitely come forward.

Yes, I would definitely like that. I have studied the coin you place in your signature and it looks like a promising system. For me, such different technologies are always interesting. I will follow and I will have a little Electroneum.

Nope. I wouldn't use or bother finding one because mobiles like smartphones are not meant for mining. It will just blow up your smartphone because of overheating. It's a waste of time and money. I heard that there's an application which mines. I just don't know what coin it's mining. Sounds impossible but it is possible because every smartphones has GPUs. Some altcoins can be mined through GPUs. But smartphones these days are very expensive. High specs smartphones ranging to $600+ above depends on specs. Why not mine with PC? I think it's a little bit cheaper than smartphones. Also smartphones have a serious issue. It's battery. Mining should running 24 hours. I don't think smartphones can do that.
As we know what technology we have i dont think so that they can make a smartphone even its android or iOS phones can mined . Maybe mining in a simple way but for the serious mining i dont think that it can be profitable but if they proof that this is good mining in smarttphone then why not.

if somebody figure out an efficient way of mining on a smartphone, it change everything as everybody have smartphone nowadays
I am not opposing the idea of mining on mobile phone, I am in favor of it but to think that it is even possible is Ludacris. Right now if they make an app for doing this, it would not be that efficient as mining normally requires GPUs and high processing constantly. Also of they figure out a way to do it on mobiles than it would be easy to use same technique to make already present pc mining soft wares unimaginably fast.

This would be nice if implemented. I think there's already an app you can use to mine using your phone but I am not sure if it is profitable besides as far as I know it uses too much power and drains the battery of your phone very fast.

This is a great idea since ordinary, non-technical people would have the chance to experience using cryptocurrencies. Though I wonder how would it handle the processing of information as we know that it takes a great toll on the hardware pc when we mine in the traditional way.

It would be great idea only till you do not make a pc mineable version.also i dont think so people will use mobile phone as their mining rig as it will heat up the phone soon aur later.even you create a algorithm related to mobile compatible, then how much you think people will use it.they buy phone for their own need and not to create a mining rig out of it.
