Thanks for the update guys!

Quick question, I don't see a bookmarked page (besides forum discussion) on firefox to monitor stats; where can I find this?

Seems like it was missed

Made EthControl Linux in golang, can be runned with nvOC also. I currently run one rig with it, runs smoothly. Also has availability to download/config and apply OC settings based on algo/config.
It's not integrated to nvOC, but 1 rig is free to use for everybody. Also very easy to install.

Code:
wget https://github.com/JamesSmith2/EthControlLinux/releases/download/1.1/EthControl.gz && gunzip EthControl.gz && chmod +x EthControl

After that just run ./EthControl --help

https://github.com/JamesSmith2/EthControlLinux/releases

https://www.upload.ee/image/7543816/ethcontrol_linux.png

When I do this, I get this error:

PI Response error: Linux version of EthMiner 12.0 Dev2 Nvidia not supported yet.

Edit: Nvm, I figured it out! Had to set it to the EthMiner 12.0 Linux and not Dev2 on the ethmonitoring website. I'm not too familiar with linux, is there a way that I can run EthControl with the appropriate accesstoken and rigname on startup using a script?

How do you set username and passwords in nvOC for pools that require them?  Thanks

like suprnova ?

In 1bash,

worker is the name of your... worker

address is the name of your account

pool is the address of the server and add ":" followed by the port number if there is no port section below, like zcoin. It should look like this: stratum+tcp://xzc.suprnova.cc:1569

I think they may be confused as to where to put the password as there is no field for it in the 1bash file

Hi Fullzero,

I've a small improvment of MPH script. I live in EU, so for me are better pools in Europe. MPH salfter script don't check location by default, by API gets list of possible host. I measure ping with default host names from MPH API and there were little big latency against to Europe host. So, I modify switching script.

There is guideline:

1) modify 1bash script and add (in MPH settings - for example before PROFIT_CHECK_TIMEOUT):

2) modify 3main script and adjust structure for generation configuration file for MPH (mph_conf.json, find this: /home/m1/mph_conf.json):

3) modify mph_switch script:
3a) after line with min_profit=cfg["min_profit"] add:
That's all. Now MPH check region settings.

All these changes seem to be focusing on my miner right now.
Thanks to you.
Very good job as this regionnal choice. I had seen that the site proposed these three geographical areas, notably by copying the URL in the script, but I would not have been able to make myself modifications!
If my miner is more efficient and plants less thanks to your modifications, I will send you sure coins (I have a small miner then it will probably not coins of great value ... but it seems that it is The gesture which counts)

I will still continue on MPH while waiting for a full version nvOC 20. I want to see what it gives me over a month.

I read on another btalk post that compared Zpool, Nicehash and Miningpoolhub that MPH was better paying than Nicehash, and Zpool pays more than MPH who pays more than nicehash. I must point out that the guy was mining dash with three identical miners: baikals (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/nicehashcom-vs-zpoolca-vs-miningpoolhubcom-and-the-winner-is-2067256)

Im trying to compile latest tpruvot ccminer in nvOC v0019 and I get these error message about BIGNUM on the last step:

In file included from bignum.cpp:8:0:
bignum.hpp:63:24: error: invalid use of incomplete type ‘BIGNUM {aka struct bignum_st}’
 class CBigNum : public BIGNUM

Any tips or suggestions ?

TYIA

so no one ever had those BIGNUM error messages while compiling any of the ccminer on nvOC ? The 3 ccminer fork I tried are giving me this error message. Apparently it is something related to openssl.

Correct this is OpenSSL, currently on nvOC V0019 we have a dev version 1.1.0 just install 1.0.2f into /usr/local/

Then you will be able to compile the ccminer-xevan and above

thanks a lot for this information. So I have to downgrade or I can run both of them ? And how can (the nvOC dev) managed to install it ??

Thanks again.

I am doing the full exercise for ccminer-xevan from krnlx. I will do a write up when done on stability and if this actually works and how it impacts the rest of the system.

Hope to give you feedback tomorrow

so your are going with a downgrade ?
I already downloaded 1.0.2f , files are on the usb drive, Im just waiting for someone to tell me if I could just install it, plain and simple.

I set auto update to yes in 1bash and rebooted.  It started mining, then killed the miner and started the update process (which includes a newer nVidia driver).  Anyway, when it was done, it rebooted to this:

I type it the miner1 password, and it just keep looping back to the same prompt.  Rebooted and got the same thing.

I SCP'ed over my 0019-1.1 1bash and 3main files and rebooted again.  Got to the same screen as above.  So I guess my only option now is to go back to the 0019 image and start fresh?

The last time I have the same problem when I update a fresh v0019 installation. It looks like this has something to do with the newest NVIDIA drivers.

After a new fresh USB stick or SSD this happens over and over again. There is no way to login.

The only option now is not to update the NVIDIA drivers. How can I fix this?

I just uploaded v0019-1.3 as both an update and a new image.

I recommend trying papampi's WTM switch.   Smiley

Please Note: YOU MUST SET ADDRESSES in 1bash FOR YOUR COIN SELECTION or if using the WTM switch; each COIN SELECTION or you will have errors.

The file to be downloaded is 30+mb only instead of 15+GB.... is there any other link for the full size of NVOC?

Secondly, anybody tested when adding a PCI extender (3-in-1)?
Getting lot's of issue after installing but also got issuer after removing the PCI extender

Hi there, I'm new to mining and tried your nvOC and really appreciate the effort on making it so simple for us who are newb to linux. But i have a question about my GPU Palit NVIDIA 1060 P106-100 8G mining w/o video output. I got a stable 20-21 MH/s. How can i OC it on nvOC. Can't seem to do it. I tried editing 1bash and nothing happens.

INDIVIDUAL_POWERLIMIT_0=75

INDIVIDUAL_CLOCKS="YES"
 __CORE_OVERCLOCK_4=0
MEMORY_OVERCLOCK_4=1600

And also what is this option for?

P106_100_FULL_HEADLESS_MODE="NO"

Thanks in advance Smiley

Which version of nvOC you are using ?
if all your gpus are p106 set this to yes to use full headless ( no monitor attach)
Code:
P106_100_FULL_HEADLESS_MODE="YES"

Thanks for the quick answer. I'm using the current stable v0019. My rig is setup like this:
13x GPU (Palit NVIDIA 1060 P106-100 mining 8g no video output version)
ASRock H110 Pro BTC+
monitor is pluged in the MB >>>> should i unplugged this? access via TV or SSH only?
Just curious, what is the difference when i unplugged the monitor.
Update to latest 19-1.3
Stable 19 had OC settings problems.
Better unplug monitor and disable integrated gpu, access via ssh only.
You can check stats via web page in 19-1.3
Since you have 13xp106 set this to yes :

Code:
P106_100_FULL_HEADLESS_MODE="YES"

I dont have p106, so better wait for some one with those cards to comment on whats difference if you connect monitor.
With normal GPUs you should disable integrated GPU after bios settings >>> turn off >>> connect first gpu to hdmi monitor >>> connect nvOC USB/HDD turn on power.

Thank you again for your advice. will update to 1.3
