XMR-Stak running 1 thread instead of 2 is about 15% slower than cast
Hmm, xmr-stak can use 2 threads, try this config for 6xGPU:
--opencl-platform=0 --opencl-devices=0,0,1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5 --opencl-launch=1152x8,1152x8,1152x8,1152x8,1152x8,1152x8,1152x8,1152x8,1152x8,1152x8,1152x8,1152x8 -o stratum+tcp://xmr-eu2.nanopool.org:14444 -u wallet_addr.$rigName/[email protected] -p x --donate-level=1 --print-time=5

Any way to add CAST_XMR?   There are no good programs to mine XMR with.  XMR-Stak running 1 thread instead of 2 is about 15% slower than cast.    Im assuming it must be a challenge in implement Cast or else it would have been done already.  My RX580s get 925 h/s on Cast, and only 750 on xmr stak with 1 thread.  Multiply that by 13 and I'm looking at a Vega amount of hashrate I am losing.

if i put 80 in power limit means 80 tdp like afterburner?

In Linux it means 80W not 80%

- added one more force reboot condition after gnu crash
- added sending dimes debug to console on force reboot
- recompiled few miners for compatibility with CPUs
- added miner xmrig-amd-v2.6.1
- added miner xmrig-nvidia-v2.6.1

Is there a way to run 2 threads with xmr-stak-v2.4.2-cuda8 or set intensity like I can with SGMiner?

I had to change to XMR Stak from SGMiner when everything went to Monero7 and XMR Stak hash rate is really low, I think it must be doing a single thread.

Did you try Claymore instead? I'm getting about 900 with it.

I need something that can do Monero7. Claymore can't unless something changed I'm unaware of. I'm stuck between xmr-stak and xmrig, SGMiner used to work but not since everything forked to Monero7.
SGMiner I could pull 800-900 with my cards but using XMR-stak Im getting 650, I couldn't even get XMRig to work right.

So yeah for like a week I guess, I've been doing XMR-Stak at 650 per card. I just hate I'm missing out on 200+ per card. It runs great but the hash rate sucks. Im guessing its a single thread... I have no idea what to put in the script to get it to run 2 per card. Nothing with my overclock has changed, with SGMiner on cryptonight it would do ~850.

How come there is no indepth error logging with SMOS?  like to find out why a rig keeps resetting by looking at the errors or last console message(s) on why it had restarted etc..  This has been main reason why i use windows over SMOS lately because at least i can find out why its crashing.

Maybe your OC is too high?  Have you tired changing OC settings?

currently i'm trying to downclock the OC, i hope it's work

Gigabyte P106-100 problem

I have 3 rigs with 8 cards. After approx 30-35hrs of work, cards are going in some mode like sleep or so, showing 607MHz Core and 405MHz Mem clock. Rigs are not rebooted, just slows down. After restart, they are working well next 30-35hrs.

What ever OC settings I use, even 0, power between 70-90W, it simply doesn't matter.

Friend have two rigs with same cards, one with 8 cards, second with 4 cards, same problem.


Any one know something about this?
