One mistake I did in the past was also selling the coin that most people speculate to moon after months. After buying those coins, I also saw an opportunity to buy another coin which reputable users are also hyping. I was thinking the old coins i bought didn't moon and so I dumped them to buy the new one. Its was too late to buy the old one when I learned its value rise more than $4 and going up already. I still regret losing a lot of monero during those days. I still bought hundreds of it sold again after it doubled. Lesson learned is to wait.

That's true, but there is bottom line why we make mistakes, it can be lack of knowledge in investment, and trading. But if we just knowledgeable about it for sure loss of money will no be happen I think. Because we know the proper way of trading.
Even though we are knowledgeable some time loss will happen, many people have a big nature when ever a coin is pumping many people start buying at that higher price, soon after when people are dumping harder we could able to reach the value we bought, so ultimately it leads to loss.
Every one will fail to choose the right one, it will happen some time because all people are not perfect. After failing to choose right coin ultimately there is a huge loss to overcome this you need to research thoroughly before investing into it.

In this type of business, trading without the necessary knowledge for sure is the biggest mistake. And the second biggest problem, in my opinion, is not controlling one's own greed. That is one big problem that many traders go through in situations in which they don't know how to identify the right time to invest or the right time to stop, to wait for a better opportunity. I do mistakes specially when buying altcoin,everytime i engage into trading(when buying altcoins)i never know where it will be profitable or not,i know it is risky but it can also have a big return on me. I think it will be the best to share your story so that we can avoid your past mistakes.

I was assuming it is the price manipulation by the whale. every time the whale can dump his coin to make everyone aware if the dumping session was happening and they will be doing the panic selling and sell his coin for cheap price and the whale will pump it again.

I don't think , that I made any mistake but still I think I made some mentally mistakes for trading better flow .I think it will be the best to share your story so that we can avoid your past mistakes.
So , I think my first mistake was of understanding of buy/sell system in the poloniex , buy within two to three days I understand well but my mistake was of patience .
In my opinion the trading is a job of patience that was not bearer by my mind Earliar and got loss for only buy and sell with loss of money .
So here I will suggest to everyone to hold their patience for increase price of altcoins because time equal to money ,( specially in trading )

Yes, I was do the same thing. I just guess that it's the time to get profit, without make any analysis about it. But that is normal the first stage of trader is being unconscious incompetence, I am sure that I will go to the next level of trader.

My mystake is that invested all money in other things and now I dont have money for trade with altcoins but I would earn a lot in this 3-4 days with altcoins,all my predicitons about altcoin prices where correct.
i think mistake in trading is a very common think everyone much have the experience of making mistake in trading. because no one can be perfect. for example in previous days when the price of bitcoin reached to 1150 USD i made a big mistake that i still hold my bitcoin and not sell it, because the price of bitcoin after that comes down to 740 USD round about.
