Use a mixer directory to find an up-to-date list.

Many mixers have closed since a few months ago and their websites are no longer valid.

Shouldn't you be telling OP not to send any of his coins into someone else's custody?  You seem to agree with this principle according to your other thread: GET YOUR COINS OUT OF CUSTODIAL WALLETS NOW

I also suggest that you lock this thread to avoid spamming as everyone would likely end up saying same thing without giving an answer to the question.

That's the best idea, and the first suggestion that got into my thought when I went through replies in this thread, majority of people are literally giving same opinion to the OP's question and the right step to take is locking the thread since he/she should've already got the right answers to the question, except maybe the OP is not very active here cause I've checked the profile and the very first and last time OP posted was on the 26th July and August 4 respectively.

However, since mixers are banned from the forum and no one would want to bring up discussions ard the best mixers here, @Op you could surf the web, and do proper findings then take your time to compare which mixers you think is the best.

Mixers exist truly, but not anymore on this forum can we recommend you for anyone of them, also know that they only serves as an entity in providing one the required privacy needed in making transactions, you can check on other platforms where they were being allowed to be announced or promoted, majority of them are trusted, even though not to hundred percent.

If you do end up using a Mixer and they hand you out Private Keys, make sure you are using them ASAP.  I would not hold my Coins in their generated Private Keys for too long.  This is just to lessen the likelihood of falling as a victim of a Scam, if it ever happens.
As far as I have used mixers, it has rarely happened that a mixer offers the possibility of keeping assets with them. The only one I remember that had such an option was WWM, which offered a staking option. Although it ended badly.

But this is not because they are Mixers.  It is an advice I give to everybody even regarding Centralized Exchanges that are well known and legitimate.  It is just an advice for the Safety of your own Coins.  Custodial means you are not really the owner of your Money.  Be the owner of your Money.
This should always be repeated as a mantra, for all services. Even mixers legit are the safest from this aspect.

There are quite a lot of phishing/cloned mixer websites, so you have to be very careful about that, particularly now that you can no longer directly link to mixers on Bitcointalk. I advise that you visit the mixer directories linked in this thread, AFAIK, they are managed by reputable members on the forum, and you can access the mixer you want to use, directly from their website, this will save you from entering a phishing link and losing your money.

That is not true at all..  There have been some high quality crypto mixers that got taken down by the authorities, but not cuz they were scam.  It was more that they were doing their job in protecting people's financial privacy a little too well.  These mixer sites have been crucial for safeguarding folks ability to control their money without the government spying on everything they do and  calling those kinds of services scams shows a lack of understanding of why privacy matters when it comes to managing your own assets.  Financial freedom requires having tools to prevent surveillance from big institutions that want to monitor and restrict how citizens can spend their money.  So while some mixers may be shady, many are just trying to empower users to resist overreach into our personal finances.
Kruw is a malicious person and a lying scumbag who wishes pain and death on those who don't agree with him. He supports anti-bitcoin propaganda and tries to hide the fact that the company and coordinator he worked for was paying for on-chain surveillance. He supported censorship with a passion when it was in his interest to do it, and then got rid of all censorship when it was in his best interest to do so. He now welcomes thieves, scammers, hackers, and pedophiles to freely use his coordinator. The service he promotes reuses addresses. I wouldn't be surprised if everything he touches is the perfect honeypot.

Aside from what other member said, it comes down to whether you trust the mixer. If you would rather not do that, CoinJoin would be better option you. Although CoinJoin isn't perfect either, due to risk of sybil attack or trusting CoinJoin coordinator to some degree.

None of them. "Mixing sites" are scams
It's not true, not all mixers are scams.  If you read the post of Theymos carefully you will understand why mixers are banned from here

If you have done your research on mixers prior to this post you should know that mixer has been expelled from this forum
Its reasonable if the user is an old member here for him to make a keyword for research. But the user is just mere newbie so its considerable.

To OP i also suggest to access the altcoinstalks URL posted above.

If you have done your research on mixers prior to this post you should know that mixer has been expelled from this forum. It's imperative for you to use the search button on topics you aren't familiar with. That's why the option is made available.

Regardless you can still do your research on it but know this no mixer is complete secure and safe but some mixers has established a good level of trust to their users and I don't think you would have a hard time finding those types of mixers.

You won't get much explanation about it because it is banned here in this forum but you can ask more questions in altcoinstalk forum. If you don't want to ask many questions then better check the link that pmalek have provided which is a list of mixers. As of now, I only know one platform that list mixers that you can try and that's bitlist. We'll just have to wait for op to be active again before OP can read our replies and know which mixers he'll choose to use from bitlist list of mixers.

Charles-Tim is correct, you'd be better off asking this question on altcoinstalk because of the restriction that has been put in place regarding mixers on this forum. just so you know, some members of altcointalks are also active on this forum so you might see familiar usernames there that might be answering your questions.
Maybe OP is not aware of the existence of mixer brand censorship in this forum and OP should create an account on altcoinstalks to see many discussions there.
I don't know exactly how many mixers are active there now but the Bitlist site is also complete in its entirety.

None of them. "Mixing sites" are scams, they take custody of your coins and provide no privacy whatsoever.

If you want privacy for your Bitcoins then you have to participate in a coinjoin transaction.
Have you forgotten that conjoin is also a mixer? They are decentralized mixers. There are many reputable mixers which you are calling scam for your own selfish reason you might be promoting wasabi or whatsoever. I have used many mixers before and they are good. The only problem that have with them and which I also with have with conjoin is the tracing of the transaction that has been mixed, but who mixed it is not known. I mean the person that wants the coin to be mixed is not known.

mixers promoted purpose is to try to hide/anonymise and prevent monitoring of transactions.. HOWEVER,, by simply using a mixer, the movements of the deposits into a mixer and the movements of the withdrawals from a mixer are actually highlighted and analysed with more scrutiny than normal transactions that dont use mixers...

this means by using a mixer you are more likely to be investigated, analysed and monitored, thus defeating the point of using them

..
its also worth noting if you are a clean user that is not holding coins related to a crime.. due to the promotions of mixers being aimed at dirty user the majority of coins in a mixers service is going to have some criminality related to it. so you are more then likely going to receive dirtier(more criminal related) coins than the coins you deposited in.

..
its also worth noting that some idiots will promote that bitcoin is "fungible" meaning that all coins are treated equal, this is done to falsely gaslight innocent people into thinking there is no harm in receiving dirty coins by pretending there is no such thing as dirt/taint
HOWEVER, if this were true where there is no such thing as taint, dirt or criminal related coins.. then there would be no need for mixers

in short if you end up with dirty coins that are blacklisted.. services can report that and end up getting a court order to freeze your service account and seize your coin. even if you were not the original perpetrator of a crime the coins you received were linked to
