that's strange, even the interface is different from what i get.
i did check again, and there is no option for crypto payments. i even tried from different geos using a vpn, thinking it might be available only for certain countries.
I also don't have the crypto payment option on Hostinger. Is it only for US users?

I'm not sure, but I've tried accessing my account and creating an order from VPNs in Falkenstein (germany), Montreal, and Dallas/LA and I've always seen it. I technically don't qualify as a US user to them I don't think - I don't live there currently.

It's strange how crypto is not listed as a payment method on their help page.

There is some article from July 2024 talking about how they "opened" crypto payments with CoinGate, but I've been able to use crypto as far back as a year ago.

i swear i thought hostinger accepted crypto, at least that's what they say on the payments page (those fucking liars). https://www.hostinger.com/payments
I never liked hostinger and I would never use it for any serious project Tongue

i wouldn't even use them for a fun project.

only noobs fall for those domain and hosting companies that offer everything for cheap prices with fake discounts to lure you in, lock you into their ecosystem, upsell you things you don't need, and rip you off with crazy renewal prices.
they are recommended everywhere online only because they pay good affiliate commissions.

Interesting that on different page I found how they don't allow using their resources for mining crypto currencies:
https://support.hostinger.com/en/articles/8560191-is-mining-allowed-at-hostinger

because they use virtual servers with shared resources, if you are using 100% to mine crypto, it will degrade the server performance for other users.
most hosting companies don't allow mining, even on bare metal servers, as it reduces the expected lifespan of the hardware and lowers their profit margins.

Maybe they are using some third party provider that allows them to accept payment from many cryptocurrencies, and that appears during checkout process.

But I wouldn't use it for anything mixer related.

You'd think that after reading the warning on my site that people making mixers would stay away from Hostinger. But apparently that's not the case. A mixer that brings in thousands of dollars in revenue every month can afford offshore hosting, or even just a VPS at a no-name, Monero provider like Kyun. They don't need Hostinger's '79% off' offers.
I would not use Hostinger for any service that requires privacy. In general, I would avoid hosting companies that offer all kinds of services

I was also surprised when I saw that, I was also convinced that Hostinger accepts crypto as a payment method.
Maybe it was possible at some point, but they withdrew such an option in the meantime.

Why is Metamask marking them as risky?

most likely they got reported to metamask as a scam or something.
Rombomix has been removed from the Metamask blacklist. Now it works without any warnings.

It should be noted that they have also implemented (or are still in the process of) a bitcoin mixer, so they are no longer exclusive to ETH. Now there is an option to mix ETH and BTC.

most likely they got reported to metamask as a scam or something.

What's interesting to me is that they registered a domain through Hostinger, which was taken away from them by the registrar. Later, they registered a new domain, but again through Hostinger.
Why use the same service that has already compromised your business once?
Plus, Hostinger doesn't accept cryptocurrencies as a payment method, they obviously don't care about privacy.

we call that being retarded. i would not be surprised if their servers are also hosted on hostinger, lol.

Now things are complicated again because the new rombomix .com domain has been marked as risky by Metamask.

Why is Metamask marking them as risky?
That's a good question. I'm not sure how much that mixer was used at all, except maybe for some testing. They've only been operational for maybe a little over a month.

Their domain got suspended? They just started out, that's ridiculous. How would it be possible to scam someone in that little time?
I don't think there was any scam here, there just wasn't enough time for it. The .io domain was suspended and taken away by the domain registry, which is quite strange.

Rombomix is still a fairly young service, but I would give them some time to show stability before making any recommendations. They almost had a problem, because the registry took away their .io domain, so they switched to a new .com, indicating that they still need to overcome some basic issues.

I don't know if the list is intended exclusively for Bitcoin mixers, but it would certainly be good to have insight into other mixers at some point.

Not really, it's just that there are a lack of trustworthy mixers for other coins. Excluding privacy coins, which don't need one.

No, I don't list Tornado Cash. I have a history entry for it, but it's not on the list of mixers and I also don't link to it, as 1) I don't want to run into any trouble doing that and 2) it's not a Bitcoin mixer.

I don't really know how popular Ethereum mixing is compared to Bitcoin mixing, but if there is strong demand for this kind of service then it would make sense to make a table for it.

NotATether, I see you mentioned Tornado Cash in your service.

Would it make sense to list Rombomix, and ethereum mixer? As they are somehow a replacement for tornado cash.

Jokermix has also been removed.
You should also remove jokermix from Verify Letter of Guarantee section, and maybe something else can be updated there.
As for Retoswap, last time I checked they support other coins also, not only monero, there was USDT (on ethereum and tron), Bitvoin, Litecoin and BCH.
There are also a bunch of fiat payment methods, similar like in Bisq, and biggest volume is for monero trading pairs.

November update published. New features:

- New P2P Marketplaces section, with Noones, LocalCoinSwap, HodlHodl, Paxful and Binance.
- Bisq, Robosats, and Peach Bitcoin were also moved to this list.

I plan to update the history with info about this industry.

Thanks for using BitMixList.

New P2P sites published!

Nonkyc, lnp2pbot, and Retoswap (formerly Haveno-reto).

Paxful and Binance have been removed.

Jokermix has also been removed.

I think with those two we should be fine. And I can kick out the KYC sites. In fact, I might even remove that column entirely, but then what are some other features that people care about when choosing a market?
I don't use p2p much so I'm not sure I can give a real suggestion.
But when it comes to instant exchangers, I think that two essential things are the KYC policy, of course, and whether the exchanges have their funds for liquidity or are only resellers. In that case, it is also important to know who is their liquidity provider and whose services they resell.

It was mentioned to me here. I want to find other platforms (without KYC) to replace it with, so I've been doing a few internet searches.

all i can say is having a good small list (even if it's only 2-3 websites) is better that a bad long one.

https://nonkyc.io/

I don't know if any of these are legit, some may even be phishing so I want to double-check with you guys.

i agree with @examplens on his analysis for the other sites. would not risk using any of them. i rather stick to the ones that have proven themselves.

i might consider using nonkyc.io if i have no better option, but absolutely not for big amounts. they have only been around for about 1.5 years, and their AML policies are super vague.
and since they don't do KYC, i wonder what they do with the coins they freeze due to "bad AML"?

They don't look very good to me and I would never use them, when there are other legit p2p projects.
If you want to add some real p2p exchange than consider adding lnp2pbot, this is strictly no-kyc and good option for people who prefer using Telegram (not me), and they got support from Human Rights Foundation project.
https://lnp2pbot.com/

and there is also RetoSwap, a Monero P2P marketplace, basically the successor of LocalMonero.
RetoSwap is a good one, old name was HavenoDex and this is actually a fork of Bisq exchange, it works almost identical.
