Give all before death
What will you rather do this holiday.
1: Avoid gambling until after the holidays?
2: make out time within the holiday to gamble a bit?
Gambling is not a side hustle or a job, hence it doesn't deserve to take much of your time. Sometimes one can spend a few minutes gambling for the day. The holiday period will afford most people more time to enjoy themselves through various activities and gambling could be one of them. Since some days will be work-free, I might set out more time to experiment with some games in casinos.

To answer the question, I wouldn't stop gambling because of the holiday, rather I will explore more games to check if I can discover new ways to entertain myself.

The holiday's is around the corner and is going to be a long one most especially for those remote workers, freelancer and CEO who have control of their time and can space out enough to go on holidays this season, infact to some, this summer holidays is a tradition for them, so for that there is no missing at this period of the year.

Now the thing that have being bordering me this season is, how to combine the holidays with gambling, since to most of us here gambling is somewhat a way of life for us, and we often gamble as much as possible and we all know how sensitive gambling is and how bad it is to mix gambling with other activities, so I want to put this question to the house.

What will you rather do this holiday.

2: make out time within the holiday to gamble a bit?

I doubt that the holidays mean much to either a casual gambler or a heavier gambler. If you're a casual gambler that can pull themselves away from the game, you might face the same cost pressures as most people at this time of year if they are buying Christmas presents, where your budget gets a bit tighter around December. That might be counteracted by the fact that more people holidays in the last month and when there is free time it can often get filled up with these fun pursuits. Gamblers with a problem are a different story though, as with any addict they have a tendency to find money (even if it's to the detriment of other areas in their life) in order to play.

But in general, I don't see any reasons why it should be a problem to gamble on holidays. Making few bets or somme spins doesn't takes much time.
If all of you are adults, you can even spend some time gambling together  Cool. I have done this with friends before and it was so fun but it was not during the holiday but while we were just together one day and gambled together. I have not tried it with any of my families before.

Making few bets can lead to several time spent on gambling. Especially if you are using low amount of money. Like using $0.5 or $0.05 which some games can accept as minimum amount to use for gambling. I have done this before several times and the time spent would be like 30 minutes when 1 hours and 30 minutes or 2 hours would have gone.

I personally still feel it's all the same regardless of whether it's a long vacation or not gambling will still be possible especially when there are multiple matches to bet on.

I still love sportsbook betting and as long as it's still around and there's some competition in soccer that I know of then I'll still continue to gamble regardless of whether it's a weekday or a holiday because at the end of the day it makes no difference to me.

This kind of thing actually depends on one's principles because in some conditions there are some people who do spend their vacation time relaxing or gathering with family but on the other hand for me personally I can still do everything where I bet and relax by spending time with family it still won't change in the end.

We don't vacation all the time and just hang out with family but there will always be boring times so it can be a time of entertainment in gambling for you, it just depends on how many matches for me because I prefer to bet on sports.

And when the vacation goes somewhere by staying a few days there then it will not involve gambling there, unless after arriving home then do gambling activities again.

Strange question. If you're picking between spending Christmas Eve with your family or gambling, then you're degenerate gambler and you need some help.

If you feel like to gamble during the holiday in a way that you feel like gambling, why not gamble. If you do not have the time to gamble because of how that period would be, you do not need to gamble. To gamble during holiday or not, it should be about how you feel about it and if you have the time to do it.
I agree with you on the individuality in this decision making process, but the why I asked this here is to get other experience on this subject matters, I think the comment I love to read most is from someone that have tried this before and what his experience is and what his current decision on combining gambling and holidays is, this will help me real well to know what to expect and how to prepare myself for that expectations.

Although no matter what, the choice of what to do still depends on me and how my conditions at that time is, but in all I think one can do the two but with separate timings.

If one must gamble, I think holiday is one of the seasons in which they will have enough time to gamble. All the holiday won't be spent just staying with family and friends; there will be a lot of free time that could be used for gambling for those who want to gamble, so if you are to ask me, I will say I will gamble during the holiday, and it will ruin any fun supposed to be enjoyed during the holiday.

For each of us, this vacation will be different... if between socializing and having fun with people/family/kids, someone finds free time to gamble, why not?

We are not all the same, and we are not all in the same situation... everyone should fill their time in the way that suits them best. If that's a gamble, so be it.

Just no pressure... if you do something do it because you want to do it, feel free. If you do something with pressure, sooner or later it will explode.

I mean, come on, does this really deserve an answer?

Gambling is an everyday hobby. You don't need to leave your house to do it. So unless you go to a casino you can't normally reach close to home, hence a gambling holiday, it's not changing anything. You don't need to gamble on your holiday because you simply go on holiday to get away from everyday stuff.

It's not a great question but it's worthy of the discussion because I wish the common sense will help change the mind of those few that would want to gamble on their holiday.

I don't see any problem here or why it should be a hassle. Clarity comes from have a well thought out planned. How do you want your holidays to look like? Are you spending it alone, with your immediate family or with your extended family? These are some questions that could help get clarity on whether you should gamble during or after the holidays. The only people who would struggle with a decision are those at the onset of gambling addiction. They will be indecisive until they eventually do it.
