I don't know about the scenario that happens behind the scenes that makes parents and their children come together to gamble regardless of where they are, but yes I also understand that it is still possible to happen especially when both parents really let their children free, but one thing as you said that the decision of parents to allow their children to gamble is quite risky, but I can also say that it would not be so risky if only the parents were really able to guide their children to become a responsible gambler and keep an eye on them.

On the other hand even though the aspect of responsibility can help someone from various bad impacts such as losing money in gambling but isn't it a much better decision not to involve a child in gambling? of course, and with that there will be no amount of money lost.

Making it to be some sort of bonding with your kids then i dont really believe that there would be those parents to be something like this on which allowing up their children to deal up or play with those holiday season or just like on what had mentioned to be some sort of activity on which it is really that indeed odd. Whenever on a holiday season then this is usually pertains about family time and bonding on which this is really that the best time to put up or give some time with your family specially if you are someone or parents that being that too busy with work and having that no time for your kids to have at least those bonding moments. Gambling will always be there and permanent and it wont really be that bad on giving out at least a day on putting up your focus into them and wont really be that making yourself that being distracted with that gambling urge.
If you are a parent who doesnt really mind much about your kids and wanting you to see on what are the things you've been doing then you just dont care on what would really be that happening around.
Mixing up holidays with gambling sessions doesnt really give out that good way of having a good day at least together with your family. Family should really be that you main priority and never ever make having those kind of considerations on exchanging your time with them and plays gambling within the day.

Just dont turn this topic into children/gambling addiction kind of things. The way I gamble with my kid: to make game more interesting, we place "candies" or "a wish" as a bet. Since playing UNO for a million time isnt that fun anymore. Making it "who ever losses goes for a night walk with a dog" or "makes me tea with cookies" isnt a worse possible bet. With friends, we have played poker under "who ever losses first, pays for ordered dinner and the winner chooses what we order". You see, no money involved, yet it is still fun and there is a challenge to win. For example this weekend, we played cards and the prize was: if kid wins, we order sushi, of someone else wins, we eat what wife cook (of course we let kid win ) I see nothing bad from such form of gambling. It makes it more variable, and there is zero addiction.

Gambling with children during holidays? It’s very peculiar or weird to see a parents that gamble with their children regardless of the occasion. Gambling is not intended for minors while holidays should be the time for bonding with family not exposed special someone on risk of losing money.

Maybe playing card games is good that doesn’t involved money but doesn’t gambling rather a normal game.

Gambling is very dangerous so I wouldn’t dare play it with my family.

If we talk about family, family holidays and spending time together, then I think it does not matter what you do together, as long as it brings joy and happiness to all of you. For example you can gamble for fun with your children, and I am sure, that fun time together will be what they will remember, not a specific activity you did together. They wont focus on "we were playing blackjack", "we were playing cards" or "monopoly", they will remember the holiday mood and that you were having fun. You can make them clean their rooms whole day or cut onions, but if that would bring fun to all of you, they wont remember what exactly you were doing, but remember that it was fun time. Besides it is possible to gamble differently. You can do it on your own, or you can do it together. You can make it as a competition with a simple prize, you can gamble for fun or you can gamble seriously. You can do whatever you want, as long as it is fun for everyone. Also it depends on what age your children are, and what kind of parent you are. I know that some parents might turn boring working days into a fun holidays with family without them even noticing it.

Yes, that's the best way to celebrate it. It's a time for rest and be with your loved ones and I think I won't even touch my phone during those times. I have my wife check all the messages if there are important ones but as much as possible I don't want her to also be with her phone and just be with us.
For me, the holidays are mostly to spend time with my kids the whole day or a week and I want it to be special for them and let them know that their father is not just work as always.
It's a different era and sometimes these things are being taken for granted but I know the kids will remember all these events and they will do the same if they grow up and have their own family. Kids have good memories, let's not make them remember that their parents are gambling during the holidays.

That is because they don't want to mix gambling with their holiday. They know that gambling can interfere their holiday easily and ruins their day.
They are rarely gets holiday while they can playing gambling anytime they want and they consider that gambling is just a fun thing. So when they are in holiday, they will trying to use their time to relax and have fun with their relatives or friends or families.
They know how to treat gambling and holiday so they just wants to enjoy their time and they can back to playing gambling in the next days. That is what we must do when we are in holiday and it is better we skip all things in our routine by having fun and enjoy it because we may difficult to have holiday in the near.

Holidays are not only for relaxation. Besides gifts and wishes, Xmas is also a holiday period for gambling, or not? At least from where I am Xmas, including New Year's EVE, it's very common (almost traditional) for family and friends to gather and play some gambling games. Poker, roulette, blackjack, whatever. So, I don't think that you can exclude gambling from Xmas, it's somehow connected.

Whoever gambles for entertainment may not bother doing it in a holiday environment filled with loved relatives and friends. Except one decides to play some games/bets and have fun with those one is having the vacation/holiday with, I don't think it's a good idea to. Gambling and trading have both unpredictable outcomes. However, if you perform them with positivity and patience, despite of the losses, you will never get bothered because you are never in a hurry for making an income. My advice is, have some reserved amount for trading and gambling on the amount that you wouldn’t care of losing. Whatever the outcome, it will never create a huge negative impact on your holidays.

Any responsible gambler can fix time for gambling during the holidays without eliminating other primary plans made for the holidays. In as much we still choose to gamble during the holidays we shouldn't be carried away if not we might lose all the money we saved for spending our holidays. That will only ruin the plans especially if we have a family we have promised merriment.

Being less busy shouldn't be an excuse to any gambler to start losing his discipline while gambling on holiday season. I know how tempting it can be when one is free but in holiday we are not completely free especially this Christmas holiday. In the meantime, having more time to gamble doesn't guarantee that we will make more money in gamble. We may experience huge loss or big wins depending on how we gamble.

Yes and it should be like that, meaning every gambler should not set that victory is something they must get at the end of the game, so actually for the problem of disappointment it actually depends on you or back to how you respond to it from the start, if only from the start you realize and understand that the risk of defeat is part of the game then regardless of whenever and however your situation is when gambling then defeat should not change your mood, and as you said that when it turns out we are lucky at that time then of course I also agree that our holiday atmosphere will definitely be more enjoyable.

Gambling during holiday can be a good time to relax and gamble very well with the prospect of making some profits from various bets. This is a relaxation time to make money from gambling especially if it is someone that has a good strategy and know how to gamble very well. There is nothing wrong with trying luck during the holiday period but sometimes because we are less busy, we could suddenly starts growing greed that can make us lose more money from gambling. If you do not set impossible tasks for yourself, but treat the game as entertainment, then you will not be disappointed with your loss. But if you are also lucky in the game, then your mood on vacation will be even better.

IMO, this one is a personal preference already. If the person wants to gamble then go, fine, gamble during holiday season maybe he feels lucky when he gambles during holiday season, maybe it's his/her fun activity, no one knows. If you feel like gambling and it makes you enjoy, then it's your rights to go gambling, there's no rule that you should just rest and have some time with family, we're all different and we have different ways to celebrate holidays.

The only thing that matters here is don't loss yourself during holidays, instead of having fun, you might feel depressed or what so ever losing in gambling haha. Just have fun.

Like he has said it all, it's the holiday season and perhaps,that decision is yet to be taken by the individuals without so much deliberations and confrontations.A lot of people are very suitable with gaming and having fun in this season and it's going to be so interesting as some them enjoy more of gambling.Inasmuch as it's a fun season, don't lose yourself,and let's ensure to be guided with the entertainments activities.

I think something, it must be very unpleasant that being on vacation and someone starts to gamble and suddenly that happens to him, spending everything, first it is very irresponsible, and second it is very stupid, because doing something like that wow is so that he deserves jail, because something like that is not worthy of happening.

The truth is I would not like to be in those shoes, because a person like that is very likely to be addicted to the casino, to games, to bets, to everything, I think that apart from everything he would need to go to a good psychologist to be treated for that and not fall into worse situations.
