The ability to properly allocate your budget is an indicator of a healthy and normal adult. Moreover, it is also important not to be a slave to your work. People by nature need some entertainment. This can be our hobby, going to a bar or playing in a casino. But the main thing is not to stress at the end of the month. When our finances are running out, and we are still waiting for the next month, our entertainment should not be uncontrolled spending. I would suggest using all the winnings from gambling for investment so that in moments when luck is not very favorable to us, we are not left with empty pockets.

Generally, the end of year holiday is best spent with family, because most people don't stay for too long. If the holiday is a vacation, gambling is a part of the fun. But the little moment that's for gathering of loved ones, and sharing of gifts should be enjoyed.

So, gambling can wait till the appropriate time; after the events. Moreover, gaming can exhaust the funds that's meant to be used on the holidays season. Additionally, the fun moments can facilitate gamers to briefly stay off gambling and return better in making good decisions.

Totally accepted and I agree with you on this one, holiday are mainly for relatives, immediate family and friends so any extra activity that will distract you from utilizing the little time you would have with your family should be avoided, though people sees gambling as part of fun too but what if your family doesn't want that, will you want to deprive them the opportunity to have you stay with them whenever they want you guys to have fun with you during the said holiday, buddy I somuch support you, I think gambling should not always come in when it's not needed, family first before any other thing, personally I can't deny the fact that am a gambler but it can never be an excuse for me when it comes to family things.

It's not even the funds it consumes that matters much at this point as you said, my main problem is that, this is holiday that we are talking about and this holiday doesn't come all the time, individual job description matters too, what if your job doesn't allow you to meet your family all the time, will you want to see gambling as an obstruction for you not to have good time with your family, i think the answer is no for me, there is time for everything, it will be better for us do things appropriately to avoid making things look as if our lives depends on gambling.

I feel positive about gambling on holidays if it brings joy and helps to feel rested from work. I try not to divide time into before or after holidays, because I believe if someone wishes for something or to do something, that person should not postpone it. I dont think that something will change if I dont or do gamble during holidays. Holiday is a day or period when one can do whatever he wants, so why not gamble during it.

We don’t pick a specific time - we gamble whenever we can! 🙂

They say a busy person has time for everything, and as gamblers, we’re pros at multitasking. Some even manage to gamble at work (though not exactly recommended) and still get the job done well. As long as you’re a responsible gambler --mentally and emotionally grounded-- gambling anytime shouldn’t be a problem.

This will not be the first holiday for gamblers and we will celebrate it the way we're doing it. This summer holiday is always a fun time and a time of merriment. And when come to gambling, this is the time those who gamble while they are workers enjoy the time of gambling. They are free to gamble without thinking of doing another thing to distract them. Even those who are not gamblers play games in this period. So this is a period of fun. As for me there is no combination the two but it is time all the above workers you made mentioned have the free time to enjoy themselves whenever place of their choices and do whatever they like. Though the period is mainly for sober reflection of Jesus Christ. Time to share good tidy. And share food and clothes to friends and relatives. And it is not a part time gambling period but full time gambling.

Basically everyone must have a different mindset which will make each of us choose something different, and I think maybe I will prefer the second point that you conveyed OP which is maybe I will spend a little of my vacation time to gamble, there is no other purpose than to add to the sensation of pleasure in the middle of the vacation time that I am enjoying, but I think it also depends on the situation, or what I mean even though I now say that maybe I will add involvement in gambling in the middle of the vacation time that I am enjoying but it does not mean that I will actually do it, because after all I do not know for sure about how busy I am enjoying my entertainment time or maybe when I am on vacation my interest in gambling disappears immediately.

The point is if you do have free time with an amount of money that you are really able to account for if it ends up being lost due to defeat then you have no problem if you want to get involved in gambling in any situation regardless of whether you are on vacation or not.

I don't request loans~

I'd gamble a bit. Bitcoins at its peak and my hand is itching so I'm probably pulling out a bit to splurge lol. If it didn't peak this hard (or if it goes down in december) I probably wouldn't touch gambling. A bit too many celebrations for this year since it's my new job and my sis is coming home for christmas.

Now I'm confident I can gamble because of 1, Bitcoin, 2, I always have some extra funds whenever the holidays come. You never know the type of urge you'd actually have once the days rollby so I usually just set aside some amount of money to satisfy sudden urges lol.

My post will be maximum honest Cheesy How do I feel about gambling on the holidays? It depends how I feel Cheesy If I feel like I want to gamble, I will always find time for it. With me, it depends a lot from the time that was before holidays. If I worked hard, then I would dedicate most of time to my family. That means I mostly dont have much spare time to even gamble online on mobile. I hardly can find time to read some news or scroll social media. Also it matters what we do and how we spend holidays. If its an abroad vacation, usually I dont have time nor wish to gamble. Even though casino is always in the hotel. If there are boring holidays and everyone are tired to do anything (sometimes such thing happen), then I would probably gamble a bit. But even then, I wont turn into a xmas bonus hunter, while I really be happy that it exist.

The holiday's is around the corner and is going to be a long one most especially for those remote workers, freelancer and CEO who have control of their time and can space out enough to go on holidays this season, infact to some, this summer holidays is a tradition for them, so for that there is no missing at this period of the year.

Now the thing that have being bordering me this season is, how to combine the holidays with gambling, since to most of us here gambling is somewhat a way of life for us, and we often gamble as much as possible and we all know how sensitive gambling is and how bad it is to mix gambling with other activities, so I want to put this question to the house.

What will you rather do this holiday.
1: Avoid gambling until after the holidays?
2: make out time within the holiday to gamble a bit?

I think that the Christmas bonus of other bitcoin holders who held it for a long month when bitcoin was already at 50k$ in the market seems premature. Because it did ATH around 93k$ something one day. And the others who have already sold will probably buy back again for sure.

We know that when there is a retracement in its price in the market, we can expect a pullback and then a correction again, which is also sure to be a deep liquidation that will happen.
Though, I agreed doing gamble is not really advisable during holiday season.

Actually, holidays are the perfect time for gambling, it just doubles the fun.. There’s no issue with it, as long as it stays fun and doesn’t mess things up. Responsible gambling is key here because if you’re not responsible, it doesn’t matter if it’s a regular day or a special occasion, the result is the same, it’s a “problem.”

So for me, I have no problem gambling on such special occasions as I know how to control myself, I lose money, that's it but I will make sure I will just be betting based on my limit, that's responsible gambling and the recipe for long term fun.

It depends on your psychological capacity to handle losses because for some people it can ruin a holiday if they experience losses that they can handle. I remember one time when I gamble sick and almost loss huge amount that started with just a small loss that turns into chasing profit.

Holidays is really good for gambling because casino offer many promotions that will help gambler to have an extra money when they play. The problem is when they can’t handle loss and ruin holiday celebrations that was supposed to be happy.

Different users have different answers for this one, but for me, I'd rather spend time for the holidays and at least forget gambling temporarily.

For me, family time is the best time and it's even better than gambling time. I'm not saying that not spending time for the holiday and focus more on gambling is bad at all. I'm just saying that it's coming from a perspective of a gambler that's not spending that much of a time gambling, and I think I can do it at the same time anyway. Putting some bets on a gambling site (since I'm on to sports bets for most of the time) while spending time on a holiday or in my case - family time.

There will be some that might skip the holiday and focus on gambling and vice-versa, and there's nothing between the two because we have different lifestyle. What matters the most is that we are happy with what we are doing. Smiley
Family matter the most and there's nothing on this world will be able to replace them and also cherishing up precious time with your family.

I do agree on what you have said that each person is really that different when it comes into these kind of events on which there are those people who do give out importance into their family
and there are ones who dont really care on just they do really be focusing into the things that they do like specially on playing gambling. There are instances that like people do ignore their family
for the sake of gambling activity and dont care about family time.

Holiday season is really just that one day and its not that something that could harm you out or missed out something on just simply spend your time with your family on one day
or holiday season.

That is a very bad mixed if my opinion, gambling has it's time and I do not feel like gambling during holidays, simply because I don't want to lose. And we all know that it's not just about the money, it's about our mental health as well. And if we lose big, we don't have that great feeling and we don't want to be negative during the holidays as it is the time that we celebrate gift giving with our families.

So it's not a choice, we should really be avoiding gambling for all measures. Unless you are really a whale and have a lot of money that you can burn during that time. But for mere average joe gamblers like the rest of us, it's better not to drain our wallet in gambling this holidays.

When it comes to gambling habit or activity then this is something that will really be that basing up or according into my mood. Doesnt matter if its really that a holiday season or not on which if i do really that feel up to play or im that interested on doing so then there's no such specific time or season on which i would really be that betting or playing gambling. Cant be denied that there would really be those times or moments that you will really be that considering out on having a break because you are really that saving up on buying up presents or having some feast or gathering or anything that pertains about events on which this will really be needing up some budget. If you are really that having tons of money or having that budget then you wont really be that caring at all on whether you do play or not on a particular moment.

If you've been doing gambling then there's no holiday would really be able to stop you. Somehow skipping up this kind of activity whenever theres some family gathering is recommended yet
these seasons are really that the best time for family gathering.

Depends on your prioritize since some people doesn't go anywhere and just stay at their home on vacation season.

So most provably they are the one who can do those activities they want like to gamble for more hours since they don't have any commitments to worry about.

But for those people who travels vacation season I guess they cannot afford to mix up gambling from unwinding since there activities and plans might get destroy due to stress what gambling losses could bring to them.

So its really depends on people's availability by the time this season came.

I will not combine the holidays with gambling because holidays for me means I have free time to relax myself especially after I doing some working in a month or some months. I will not playing gambling when I am in holidays because that can disturb my days to enjoy the free time.
I choose number 1 to avoid gambling until after the holidays. I will have more time just to playing gambling so I don't have to gambling in my holidays.
Number 2 can be done if you are in a city that have an offline casino so you can go to that place and playing gambling for some time. But if you lose, your emotion will gets the affects and your moods also change so that can ruins your days.

1. No. It will be like a normal day for me. Just work in front of the computer and maybe make some bets on sports especially basketball where they have holiday specials and put the most popular teams on Christmas day.
2. I guess that also answered this question.

For some people, the holidays are important because they can rest fully during the holidays. Before, I usually went to the province and just enjoyed my rest with my wife and the kids but now we just stay at home or maybe go to the mall to see some events and let the kids play.
Who knows though, I might forget to place a bet and I will miss gambling on those days. I guess it will depend on how busy those days will be.

I would rather do the 1 option. I mean we all know that during holidays, there are a lot of expenses, like buying gifts for you, your families and others. So I do not advise gambling as you might lose all that money that you are reserving this holiday. It happen to me once, prior to Christmas, just several days before 24th, I decided to gamble and lost a big chunk of money.

Of course we did celebrate Christmas and New Year, but still though, if I just keep it and not gamble, I might be double happy during that time. But I have learn my expensive lessons already. And for those who are going to get their Christmas bonus, spend it wisely, just a piece of advise.

If you feel like to gamble during the holiday in a way that you feel like gambling, why not gamble. If you do not have the time to gamble because of how that period would be, you do not need to gamble. To gamble during holiday or not, it should be about how you feel about it and if you have the time to do it.
Yes you are right and gambling is not a thing of compulsion where one must gamble at the holidays, and there are no space to gamble then fine it's better to gamble at the right time when there is chance for it. From personal perspective I have seen that people mostly gamble during none holidays seasons, like the rate at which people gamble compared with the holidays aren't the same. Gambling is a choice and it comes whenever there are space for it and not when seriously occupied by activities surrounded by them.
