Yes, I'm an asshole

just want to support holydarkness' stand here. actually, his request is very simple, he just wants confirmation from Ms. Brecek if she's really part into this project. this is a simple way of confirming if a certain personality is really part of the team by contacting their publicly available email account. and i did that also before, contacting someone thru linkedin and they replied fast. i gave the bitcointalk link stating they are part of the team, however, from their linkedin profile it was not included in the list. and he thanked me for that, because i did my due diligence and he's confirming that he's part of the team. why so difficult asking from your end?

saying she's busy with other things is not really a professional answer. holydarkness is just asking for very simple reply from Ms. Brecek. he doesn't need to explain who he is and why he needs this. this is normal inquiry for a crypto project. maybe you need to check the scam accusations board here to familiarize yourself what this forum can also do to a project.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0

Thank you for the help explaining, I really appreciate the effort.

Admin, let's clear the air here by clarifying that you understand the purpose of this action by walking with me once more through the explanation.

There are lots of scam projects trying to trick people into believing them by saying some well-known individuals as part of their team, where actually the said individuals didn't know anything about the project. Due to the numbers of scam projects, it is a common knowledge for members of the forum to help each other clarifying the legitimacy of any projects through questions and researches. On this case, one of the attempt was clarifying if Ms. Brecek is indeed with you or not, given that there were (past tense) no mention of her affiliation with MobileGO on her media, the suspicion is reasonable and should be banished as soon as possible. Thus, the email.

No one will actually benefited from this action other than your side --not CaVO32, and certainly not me-- because by confirming this, you'll get a physical evidence that your team are real. And in case you persist on not attempting to clarify this, no one suffered negative effect other than you, because people might start to wonder if the claim is sound, that your team is not real.

Of course, you can try different approach like what you did with team group pictures (as long as the logo of your team is visible on the picture) or by having the questioned subject to update their social media to clarify their affiliation with your project. Which, at the time we had previous discussion, were not available.

We have an understanding here?

My advise before we close this topic and move to other ones will be: kindly look requests and inquiries from several perspective before you persist on certain action. During this long hard session of scam projects, evasion will usually associated with negative connotation.

I talked to Ivana and she had already answered your letter. So I would like to ask you to confirm that respond here.

Yes, I would like to confirm that she replied me and stated that the affiliation is true, she's part of the MobileGO team. I would share a screenshot of her email if anyone asked. With this clarified, I would love to move to other topic... umm I mean question, as this is still on the dame topic.

I saw that you said you have 69 personnels on your Serbian office and 34 on Russian. I wonder if we can get acquainted with some of them? It'll be nice to know that you have other people working with you other than the three key personnel.

Perhaps... Another pictures of your office? I am well aware you provided some, but it seems it was taken during a lunch break as several desks are vacated.

You continue to make unfounded accusations. It's just your speculation, which have no basis. I have to ask you to stop doing that.

Oh wow, at this point, I really can't decide if you're doing an evasion by going offensive or you really don't understand my point here. Anyway, let's go slowly. Start from here:

There are lots of project attempting scam by saying they're working with some public figure for the sake of further convincing investor-wannabe on pretense that they're real because of the said public figure's involvement. As precautions, of course it is advisable to do background check on team's profile, lest the project do the trick.

One of the simplest method is of course by contacting the said public figure through channel they establish themselves, to ensure that the confirmation is indeed coming from the said public figure and not from fake account registered to the scam project team as their own precautions. If, the person is indeed working with them, they can simply confirm it and everything is clear, we can rule out fake-team-member from the list.

Question 1: you understand the concept up to this point, right? This... speculation with no basis?

If yes, let's proceed, your website informed us that your team are consisted of the talented people, one of them is Ms. Ivana Brecek

But, as I can't find any link provided by you to verify if she's really involved with you, I do myself a favor by doing my own quick search of linkedin profile, which leads me to this

Question 2: Is the Ivana Brecek you refer on your site is the same person as the one owning the LinkedIn profile?

I don't think the answer will be NO, given the similarities of the face and the employment history; that is, as a head of esport platform// gNation product owner. Nonetheless, it's better asked to clarify.

Now, if the answer is yes, and because I can't find your project on her history, I decide to manually confirm through the email address she state on the profile (as I highlighted in yellow)

The goal is easy, as I previously state several posts back as well as earlier of this post, but if it's too hard for you to understand the concept (given your repetitive suggestion that there's something "wrong" and "no basis" with my question) allow me to re-break it down, if the real Ms. Brecek, as in the living person, is indeed on your team as per your statement, then she can just simply log in to her email and give me the confirmation I need, which of course will directly tie her to the project and we can look for her if something wrong goes with this project. But, if that done, at least we can cross a concern that your team is not really consist of real person. Unfortunatelly, we're stuck on this step because, as you can see, my email from 5 days ago are still not addressed. Either she didn't know your project so she decide to ignore the email --in other words, anyone is rightfully entitled to ask the legitimacy of your project, given you use a wrong credential-- or... perhaps she simply didn't have time to open her email? But I thought you said you're exchanging email with her?

So, question number 3: Can you please ask Ms. Brecek to spare one to two minutes to give a quick reply to my email?. If she do, I will absolutely delighted and re-post her answer here. Not that I endorse your project or giving any support at all, but it is perhaps an evidence that investors (whoever they will be) needed.

This leads us to question number 4:, just to clarify and clear everything, in case she happens to be really on your team, do you or do you not consulting with Ms. Brecek before answering my previous question? Because if you do, then I would imagine she will say "oh yeah, there's someone asking confirmation, but I haven't got any time to reply yet" which will leads us to frown upon how you addressed my posts here. If you don't though, then it will leads us to frown upon how you, as the community manager and public relation of the project, decide to answer questions without confirming the truth.
1. There is no basis to think that Ivana Brecek do not work with us. It is all your imagination.
2. I do not know who owns this LinkedIn, but this is Ivana on the pic as I see.
3. I am not familiar with the email which is listed in the profile. But if it is her personal email, it is her right to decide to answer or  not. As I sad her response or not response says nothing.
4. That is where we draw the line.
I talked to Ivana and she had already answered your letter. So I would like to ask you to confirm that respond here.

Given that you're conveniently missed my post, and Ms. Brecek somehow also reluctant to reply my email, which I will fully understand the reluctance if she feels she has no obligation or knowledge to confirm being on team in question, am i rightfully entitled to start doubting her involvement on the team?
Don't know who you're talking about exactly but there is Ivana Brecek in our team. And if you look above a litle bit you can see that she took part in a poll. For this reason, we did not answer, as after this post the issue was supposed to disappear by itself. We also published an interview with Ivana https://medium.com/@mobilegoofficial/the-interview-with-the-product-owner-of-the-competitive-platform-the-project-that-can-increase-b91e85588429 .
In addition, the question itself is wrong. And your claims are unfounded. Her response or not response says nothing. But I would like to add that I communicate with her by email and Telegram.

Hmm? Am I contacting the wrong Brecek, then? I didn't find her linkedin profile on your web, so I did a due dilligence by googling Ivana Brecek and Esport as the keyword, which redirect me here --which I also didn't find MobileGO on Ms. Brecek's employment, by the way-- her bio description matched the profile described, so I assume this is the same person you addressed as part of your team. Thus, I emailed her with the address she provided.

Second, how does the claim unfounded? Are you trying to say that I actually didn't contact her or that my email is not arrived on her inbox, then? Are you sure? Because if it is, for the sake of confirming if the real Brecek is truly on your team, I am more than willing to resend, which then she can confirm, which then tell us if she's really with you or not.

Third, how does her response (or no response) says nothing? Quite the contrary, my email asked if she could confirm that she's indeed on the team. Her response will inform us if you're legitimately contracted her as your team or you just use her name without her knowledge. We all know such MO is quite common on today's scam projects, so one can't be too careful, can they?
She is busy with other things, and with all due respect, she doesn't have to prove to anyone who doubts that she's working with us. However, we are ready to travel the distance and contact with you via our official email. Provided that you explain who you are and why you need this. In addition, I attach a photo from the office which was made two weeks ago.

I've already suggested a solution. I posted a photo with Ivana and the team and an interview with her, which is enough. I see no reason to doubt.

Hello everyone!

Almost every person strives for convenience and comfort. Comfort in life, at work and during shopping. That is why our team has created MobileGo - Metamask Gateway!

How does MobileGo - Metamask Gateway help us?

It is an app/gateway that allows you to visit the distributed web of tomorrow in your browser today… The plugin is intended to serve as an intermediary between your Metamask/MEW wallet and partnering websites that are going to be connected in the future. The first among the many is going to be Xsolla. You transfer the MGO tokens you want to spend to your Metamask account, but since Metamask doesn’t show the MGO balance by default, you can use the mnemonic that is used for importing the account, in order to login to our gateway. The gateway will show you only your MGO balance, without cluttering your interface with other tokens. Of course you may add the smart contract of MGO into Metamask as well, but we have created this application to relieve you of that pain.

Much other integration with additional partners and games are on the way, which means that this app will see constant iterations of upgrades - we will keep you posted!

To try this undoubtedly convenient wallet just follows the link! pay.mobilego.io

For developers who wishes to use this technology, it is available at www.github.com/MobileGoToken

If you would be so kind to ask Ms. Brecek to reply my confirmation email, I'll really appreciate that, I sent it to the email address she listed for public few days ago. It was nothing, a mere quick research to see if the real Ivana Brecek is really on the team. If she is, then she has the access to reply to the email. Thank you, really appreciate it.

Hello everyone!

Our community members have been asking a lot of questions about current situation within MGO products, like what is the future vision of the project, which products are to be developed and released and etc. There also have been a lot of questions about MGO team as well.

So we came up with a great solution! We are running an exclusive interview of the team members just for our community. You can ask the questions you have. But not only that. You are also to decide WHO will answer YOUR questions!  Yes, that’s correct. We are running a poll where community members will select one team member who will answer their questions.

Here are our heroes, ready to answer any question of yours!

·      Ivana. She is responsible for eSports platform in general: which games will be included, which features will be focused on, talking with the dedicated team about their tempo, responsibilities, etc;

·      Filip. He is responsible for MGO as a token: he is taking care of blockchain-based products, looking into potential partnerships, working on R&D, leading the development efforts (non-gaming) and communicating with the marketing;

·      Vlad. His responsibility is oriented towards the gaming features in our products, mostly oriented towards MGO: making the gamers' user experience as nice as possible, adding gaming flair to our technical products, changing it if needed, and acquiring new partnerships in the gaming area.

Please vote for whom you want to see and feel free to ask your questions in the link below. We will try to answer the most important of them.

Many of you may have noticed that we added day and night mode for the convenience of players. Night mode is used to spare your eyes when playing in the dark, and not to interfere with the light of the screen to others in a dark room. Or for whom who just like it.

And a new 1 vs 1 mode is available for all games on our platform and provides players with an opportunity to compete with other players for the prizes. The one who gets the highest score  wins and takes all the bounty!

Wow, a really quiet thread. I wonder if it's because of the concept behind the project. On we go, I'd like to know first whyndo you "have" to use blockchain just to facilitate multiplayer gaming? Yeah, blockchain is nice, but it doesn't necessarily means we need to move everything to blockchain, not when the comventinal way still adequate to satisfy community needs.
We have just created a new BTT thread so maybe that is why it is so quiet so far. Speaking about blockchain technology for multiplayer gaming. It can help to avoid expenses of provisions that credit card providers are taking, same as online payment platforms and have lowest prices for our users. Besides our new technology (a smart contract) allows the performance of credible transactions without third parties.

How low is it? Not a gamer myself, so I am not really updated, but if I remember correctly, DOGE was rather popular for gaming community due to it's relatively fast transactions and low fee? Ripple? Stellar lumens? My point, if aiming for fast and low cost aspect of blockchain, why bother creating a new token and not utilizing what's there?
Basically yes, but we want to provide the best services for gamers and game developers. That is why we believe that take care of it better when all the backend will be made by our team. In addition, we strive to provide a variety of withdrawal methods for developers, which is embodied in our API payment method. For players, this is our smart contract, which in the future will lead to creation of decentralized eSports tournaments.
