He was a pro-black, unapologetic Muslim political activist and critic of the capitalist white supremacy. Don't let erasure strip the man of his only identity.

Anyone dissing him isn't fit to lick his sweaty boxing shorts. I think it's pretty hard to comprehend how much he put on the line back in the day when he told The Man to kiss his posterior and how vital he was for the self esteem of people having the shit regularly kicked out of them.

As ever the actions of the trailblazers aren't appreciated in retrospect because those judging in the future are living comfortably in a better world because of them.
I bet you lick his sweaty balls Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy  No hero to me..Excellent boxer end of

And did he stop all these people getting the shit kicked out them?..NO NO NO..People still getting the shit kicked out of them?

Khalilah Camacho Ali
She joked that she helped him create his vocal persona: “You’ve seen him after I divorced him. He ain’t said nothing since,” she said.

She said they were both alike, “strong in our beliefs and our devotion and our dedication to life and what we wanted to do in life. And by him marrying me, I knew I would be the chosen one to help him, guide him that way. Even though he was eight years older than me, I was a little smarter than him and a little bit more educated, too. And helping and guiding him was the best time of my entire life.

See, you guys don’t realize Ali wasn’t the great Muhammad Ali as he is now,” she added. “He was going in that direction. He was struggling in that direction. He was struggling with people taking everything from him and everything, and I was the only thing that hold everything together. … I was using my own college money to support us for three years, and I never let him know about it because I didn’t want him to feel bad as a man.

“So, you know, I kind of guided him along the way, and it was it was a wonderful struggle, and it was tough for him. He was depressed most of the time. He was unhappy, didn’t know what the hell was going to happen to him. So I had to give him that positiveness, that positive ‘Hey, you can have a family. We can do this together. I could write the speeches, and you could speak the speeches, and we’ll become a people’s champ.’ I’m a campaign manager here.”

She and Ali were affiliated with the Nation of Islam at the time they married.
“They called the white people the devil. Yes, they did. But I knew and understand it a different way than he did because it was the people anybody who did wrong to you are the devil,” she said.
She said she only realized later how much she had been her husband’s “mouthpiece,” helping him craft his message of resistance.
“A lot of people don’t realize most of that stuff was my mouth running off,” she said. “It wasn’t him.”.......

Sounds like his wife was the greatest...

I'm profoundly saddened at the passing away of our dear muhamed ali who was a great legendary boxer.
He was truely the greatest in the world of boxing who always stuck by the rules of the game and was a fair and just boxer.
The world of boxing has become a LOT poorer with his death. When we hear of boxing undoubtedly mr Ali's name instantly strikes to our mind.
No one can replace this legend.
Rest in peace great boxer.
HOW AND WHY?..Never done nothing for me or changed my life not in any way what so ever..
BRUCE LEE..Changed the world..

I'LL THROW HIM OUT THAT DOOR WHEN I KNOCK HIM OUT IN FOUR.. ::)yes i made that up so easy to do these speeches..
Plenty of fighters with a better record than his by far..
Not saying he was a shit boxer he was an excellent boxer but not the best boxer NO CHANCE..
Joseph Louis Barrow, best known as Joe Louis, was an American professional boxer. He held the world heavyweight championship from 1937 to 1949, and is considered to be one of the greatest heavyweights of all time

Muhammad Ali on his visit to USSR in 1978

“I’m very impressed by a meeting with Leonid Brezhnev. I find it hard to find the words… I am a simple American boxer, but I was honored to meet Mr. Brezhnev. I used to hear that the Russians are always threatening Americans, but I am convinced that this is not true. Brezhnev is a supporter of world peace”. Leonid Brezhnev, who during the WW2 fought against Nazis, gave Ali the book “The small land”. Ali called this gift “the best in his life”. “I’ll ask my friend Soviet Ambassador to the USA Dobrynin to translate this book for me”, Ali told reporters.

“It’s hard to believe, that such a peaceful country wants war. And Brezhnev, I never thought he was such a quiet and calm person. It is difficult to imagine that he can be the person who would start a war. I have not seen a hitchhiker on the road, and I have not seen a single beggar on the streets of Soviet Russia. I had never felt so safe: no risk of being robbed. I was told that there is no freedom of religion in the Soviet Union, but Muslims, Christians and Jews worship freely here. I think the relationship between our people is bad just because of false propaganda”.

I was a little nervous when I landed in Russia. I thought I’d see the country in ruins, with a crowd of gloomy people who think like robots, and intelligence agents, who would follow my every step. Instead, I saw a country populated by a hundred nationalities, who are living together in harmony.

Roy Jones jr..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LbMbH7idkHE

Now give him a hero's welcome every time you see him because he accomplished more in boxing
than ALI

Roy Levesta Jones Jr. (born January 16, 1969) is an American and Russian professional boxer, boxing commentator, boxing trainer, rapper, and actor. He has won numerous world titles in the middleweight, super middleweight, light heavyweight and heavyweight divisions, and is the only boxer in history to start his professional career as a light middleweight and go on to win a heavyweight title. As an amateur he represented the United States at the 1988 Olympics, winning a silver medal in the light middleweight division.

Jones, who is considered by many to be one of the greatest boxers of all time, left his mark in boxing history when he won the WBA heavyweight title, becoming the first former middleweight champion to win a heavyweight title in 106 years. Jones was named "Fighter of the Decade" for the 1990s ...

RIP

One of the greatest icons of our time. If he didn't get Parkinson's, he would have made something of himself. Probably a politician? An activist?

He is one of the smartest people who have ever lived. Up there with John Lennon, Ghandi, Che Guevarra and all the other freedom fighters and activists.
Well report this to the world BBC Cheesy..Mike tyson would of smashed him to bits..
Plus a hero you all say WHY..He cheated on his wife plus he refused to go to war when drafted..

ELIVIS PRESLEY was a hero..  Elvis Presley got drafted did he refuse?..

CLAY took all the white money to box in the ring but refused to fight with the white man and changed his name..You people might think he is a hero BUT not in my eyes..

He was a excellent boxer with good speeches before his fights..AND THAT'S IT..

He was an ASS HOLE TO HIS WIFE..Plus one of his children don't think he as even put him in his will..
SOME HERO..

Here you go..Speech for you..

I'LL DUCK AND DIVE AND KNOCK HIM OUT IN FIVE..So easy to come up with stupid speeches before a fight

Many people in our country adore Mohammad Ali as a gentle and intelligent man. My old pops once told me that Ali was really unbelievable. His fight in Manila with Joe Frazier called "Thrilla in Manila" became one of the historic events that happened in our country. It was just sad that he got a chronic disease and have struggled for a long time. RIP Mohammed Ali .

He was much more than a gentle and intelligent man or great sportsman. His actions changed the world a lot. He didn't want to go to Vietnam, to war and lost his champion title and a lot money, because of this decision. He converted to Muslim and teach young blacks in his country about integrity, self-respect, real purpose of life etc.
He really changed lives of many people and because of this he was great man.

Yes ,you're right chief ,his doing in this world is more than a boxer legend more than a people .he has a good legacy to leave in this world he is the best champion not only on the ring.
