Good topic that I have discussed multiple times in my mind.

First of all, happiness is a very individual task, there are things that make some people happy and the opposite. But you have to understand how our brain works. If you or anyone in this world is happy that's because of the hormones that are in our branes like: Dopamine, Serotonin, Oxytocin (love), Endorphins. Certain actions make us to release certain hormones and the happy feeling is different from them but the feel is actually happiness.
Dopamine is associated with euphoria, stimulus, memory, learning, focus, attention, confidence, etc. Overall, it's what motivates us, what makes us confident, charismatic, active... It's my favorite hormone!
Serotonin is associated with happiness, well-being. Believe it or not, serotonin mostly is in our gut. Btw I still prefer Dopamine!
Oxytocin is associated with love, pure love, this is how love feels and this is love itself. When you hug someone, when you see loved ones, when you kiss, your brain releases Oxytocin and that feels good too. It's also trust hormone, you trust those who you love, right?
Endorphins - I guess almost everyone knows Endorphins, it's often said that you release them during sex. Endorphins make us happy and kill the pain but at the same time, that's more likely because they bind to receptors of the central nervous system and release the Dopamine.

So, I would say that money can buy you happiness because you can buy the substances that directly work on these hormones and can make you happy like never before but at the same time that's not real happiness, that's manually caused, i.e. fake happiness that lasts for some hours with the crash.

TBH, money has everything to do with happiness is you're all the way into living life your way (or living life king sized). The other way around, money has nothing to do with happiness if you have the will to remain and feel satisfied no matter what happens. It's the person with responsibilities who would be worried about money to give a good lifestyle to his/her family but if someone's alone and don't get money (kind of pocket money) even from home (a student maybe) but he's satisfied with everything and can adjust according to times, then he can manage everything and his mood won't be affected by this.

There is a popular opinion in the locale that "A man who has money doesn't easily get angry or offended, lol". This statement goes the other way as well, that "A man who doesn't have money is easily offended by everything and everyone".

I have put this statement on analysis a lot in mind, trying to watch my mood and correlate my happiness with the amount of money I have each time. Everytime it seems like i have overspent and almost becoming broke, there is a feeling of irritation and sadness that comes with it. Also when i get some credit alerts, there is an associated joy.

I know it is not proper to tie your happiness to finance, but i did some research into the subject and found a study that was conducted with the result that happiness increases with the amount of money one makes up until a point  where there is no greater degree of happiness from making money, but unhappiness if ones income drops beneath that range.

(See study here - https://www.cnbc.com/2017/11/20/how-much-money-you-need-to-be-happy-according-to-wealth-experts.html)

What is your opinion on the subject of "money & happiness"?

I think a very good example is to think about the super rich people. Let's take Bill Gates.

If he goes down in wealth from $130 billion to $65 billion, cutting his wealth in half hitting the lowest point of the market and the economy, you won't see Bill Gates drop a single tear or even have a sad face. Because it doesn't matter.
It simply doesn't matter for him.

Same for Elon Musk when the newspapers say he gained or lost $20 billion in a week. He doesn't care, it doesn't matter whether he loses 10 or 20% in a week, even 70% wouldn't matter.

For everyone else in normal and lower income classes, I am sure you would see a lot of sad faces and tears, maybe even suicides if it's of existential relevance when you lose 50% of your income out of a sudden. There is a point where money is about pleasure only, and not of existential relevance anymore. It's kind of comparable to Maslow's hierarchy of needs, you can check that out on Wikipedia.

It kind of depends on the person doesn't it? I have a friend who doesn't make even remotely close to what I do, he is working for minimum wage, and he is actually saving money aside and bought his first car during pandemic. How? Well dude is single and I am married, dude lives in a crappy studio apartment which he renovated and looks better now but it is still in a shitty place in a shitty apartment, and he pays very little rent, he doesn't go out to do anything and he loves gaming (well I do too Cheesy but I go out too) and basically all he does is go to work, come home, play pc games, eat and sleep that's it.

This guy is happy without money, but I would be killing myself if that is the limits of my life, I would need to do something eventually, I love that he just plays games because he loves and he should do that, but just because he can, doesn't mean I should too. Hence "happiness" is not something set, everyone finds it somewhere else.

money has a positive correlation with happiness and where the higher and more money you have, the higher and more happiness you will get.
Many studies have been conducted to look at the relationship between happiness and money.
We often hear the term "money can't buy happiness" and that's not entirely true. Money can buy a certain level of life satisfaction, depending on how much money we have and how we manage it.
Only to those who haven't get their wishes in life despite on having lots of money are those having those kind of lines where money cant buy happiness but I agree that almost everything can be bought by money because people are naturally materialistic which most of the time where we do aim for material things in life which
do mainly make us happy and other will really be just next in line.It is really hard to believe on that money isn't the root of everything but of course you would really be
wise on handling it because there would be always pro's and con's on handling out your funds so better be careful and wont really be making yourself dragged off too much.

Money can't buy true happiness, but still, there are some people who get happy when they have plenty of money, this only shows the money matters, we really need money in our lives, it can give us happiness through material things, there are some people who are materialistic that is why money is important for the, but for those people who already contented for what life they have now they might feel happiness with being in their love ones.

Today the world is changing, whatever we do requires money, sympathy and help has disappeared, whatever we think is money, I agree that money can't buy true happiness, but without money it is certain that we suffer.

The topic is quite interesting. In our country there is a famous saying on Facebook as follows: "We have 100 different problems, but only 99 problems can be solved with money". The meaning of the saying is the role of money in modern life. Money makes everything easier.
Let's try to imagine the application of money in life. love for example. Love + money will be a sublimated love.
Family life with money will be a life without worrying much about living expenses.
Don't say money has nothing to do with happiness. Think of your 40-year-old at a big high school meeting, without a house and a car compared to everyone else.
That is what money does best, money is a tool and it is one of the most flexible tools ever, money can become almost anything so while it is true that money cannot buy happiness it can surely make it easier to reach, which is why we need to strive to some level of wealth that allows us to reach a point in which we are comfortable with ourselves, that does not mean that we need millions of dollars in our bitcoin wallets but we need at least enough to not be worried about money every single moment of our lives.

Well for me, it's true that having money doesn't mean you will always be happy, however i guess the fact that money can buy happiness is correct. You can do things you want with money, buy good foods to eat with money, buy things you want with money. They will add happiness to your life, although won't make you happy forever, but you can buy temporary happiness using money. And also, so many problems come from financial, and having a lot of money will surely solve the problem, or make it less. So having money, less problem, more happiness.

There are a lot of things you cannot buy with money which are those experience, happiness, and much more things.
If you think those valuable things you want might give you happiness it's just okay because this gives you different experiences or memories in your life.

Depends on your satisfaction. Base on my experience money gives me temporary happiness because it gives me wants and needs. But sometimes those experience I cannot make gives a full of regrets.

OP needs to see the problem from more different perspectives, the problem is with ourselves.
Happiness we always hold and decide, only we ourselves have changed and don't want it, so we always try to run after it. Remember that money is just a tool to make your life better, but how good it is depends on each person's perspective.
Our own happiness is only us who can decide not others.
indeed by having a lot of money at least we can do a lot of things that we like and make us happy,
but it's not always like that, there are even people who are already rich but don't feel happy and not satisfied

"It is better to cry in a lamborghini" situation. I get it, I really do, money looks like the only thing that would make the world better for a person, if you have unlimited amount of money (which let's face it after a while it doesn't matter how much you own, if you own more than a billion, rest is just for show and not going to change your life at all, the difference between richest person and 100th richest person is nothing when it comes to living).

Long story short it IS better to be rich then not, and it does give you more happiness for sure, compared to not having it, but I say it is not the path to being happy as a community or a nation, it is just path for individual happiness. That is why I keep on pushing for finding better ways to get everyone happy, not just certain people, millions should not be working to keep few dozen people happy, we should all be happy together.

I can tie money to happiness actually. Because the more the amount of money increases the more happiness level also increases. I know that happiness is not related only to money but it is a really important factor.
There's a study conducted that people are much more happy when they have more money and I think that it is true because you have the security and you don't have to worry about your future too much if you have money so I think money can cause happiness but not buy it, unless you buy hookers, drugs, alcohol and stuffs that gives temporary bliss.

Doesn't it depend on a person's personality? Of course people will be easily offended if you hurt someone's feelings personally or it's about something sensitive about them, but I think it all depends on how that person behaves in responding to people's responses in their daily lives.

Money is like everything in this world, sometimes money can control us to the point that we forget that it is valuable, self control is the key.
Because of money, of course we can be happy, happiness is synonymous with having a lot of money until whatever is needed... everything can be fulfilled.

I know many people who already have a lot of money but they can get angry easily. They already have a lot but they always prioritize everything that related to earning money, they looks like they still need more and more. I think that is a greed, isn't it? They always afraid to being poor. Honestly that's also what I feel sometimes. In my opinion happiness is a gift from God. Maybe we don't have a lot of money but if God give us beautiful good wife or many good kids or safe country or a job that we like or good friends or healthy, I think we will still happy.
It's human behavior and not the money sometimes, maybe they came from rags so they are really irritable when someone does something to their belongings and they are scared that those things that earned will be destroyed in a matter of moments. Probably you are right that plain old greed is what makes them angry but one thing is for sure, these people is on a Sisyphean journey because the money they earn will never satisfy them.
