Money is really one of the determinants for a person to be happier. Some people say that "Money doesn't bring happiness.". But I disagree. Of course, only having money is not enough. Being healthy at the same time is very crucial. Otherwise, there will be no meaning even if you have millions.
Easy to say for those who tell that money cant buy everything which is indeed true but its one of the factors needed fro you to cherish up a good life.

From going to another places or buying the things you do like or sending out gifst even with the smallest thing where money would really be relevant.

Money cant buy health but once you do have money and in case you do have problems in health then you can at least make yourself sustain in medication
compared into those people who doesnt have money at all and die because of no medication.

There is a popular opinion in the locale that "A man who has money doesn't easily get angry or offended, lol". This statement goes the other way as well, that "A man who doesn't have money is easily offended by everything and everyone".

I have put this statement on analysis a lot in mind, trying to watch my mood and correlate my happiness with the amount of money I have each time. Everytime it seems like i have overspent and almost becoming broke, there is a feeling of irritation and sadness that comes with it. Also when i get some credit alerts, there is an associated joy.

In my opinion, money can give happiness. but not all happiness is measured by how much wealth or money you had. it is depending on the way people think. Gratitude or greafull for anything you had is the key to happiness. No matter how difficult thing you face in life, if you are grateful, it will feel easier and you will be happier.

this is true in the offended part because they can enhance their phyiscal appearance using thier wealth and in no time no people will make fun of thier appearances but it wasnt true that rich gets less angry because i have seen most riches that are easily gets angry or irritated to everything .
while some poor can accept thier appearance and they dont get easily angry but they are more friendly .
Offense is not taken just by physical look, you can look amazingly handsome or beautiful and still not be rich at all, or you can be rich and not look good at all, look at all the rich people, jeff bezos, bill gates, warren buffet, Elon musk and none of them really cares about how they look, so it is rarely that.

It is usually business and normal life stuff, when someone tells you something if you are poor that means you do not have power and that usually hurts you, a boss screams at you, another person gets angry at you, it is always possible, when you are like jeff bezos who can come up to you and scream at you for something? I mean maybe people could in general online, but your normal life do not have those people. At the end of the day if you are not sure about it, then you are not rich enough because rich people just live a cozy life with everyone sucking up to them.

Money gives you financial freedom. This means your mind will be in a relaxed state. With a person without money, his mind will be always thinking of making money for his next day's food. This way money is an object that has got the ability to keep a person away from financial problems.

When we talk of happiness, it is all about love and care. Maybe one can buy an expensive car for his friend, but here receiving friend's mind isn't about the car. His expectation might be a small hug, so the expensive car doesn't make him happy but the small hug makes him happy.

Money is object based and happiness is all about inner feeling.

Money can't buy happiness but it can help you to be happy, better to cry on a roof that doesn't leak and have a car and an insurance and investment rather than smiling through without any way to find food for the next day, being happy without money is just ignoring the problem which is being broke.
Its funny when I hear people say that "Money can't buy happiness"! For real? Have you ever taken your child out to the park, thats if you have one or taken your family out for a picnic and watch them have all the fun they can? Even if its an unhappy family that goes about keeping malice with each other while at home... that momentary joy is what money can afford you. Money can buy you happiness but, its temporary! Once the money stops or goes away, the joy that came with it is gone.
And yeah, pretendingto be happy when you've got nothing as per money is actually paying ignorance to the problem.

Money is a tool that can aid you throughout the course of your life. With that being said, there is a high correlation between happiness and money. Having read that article before, and by my own experience and thoughts, I strongly believe that money can provide you with a better life. However, it stops being a source of happiness when your income reaches a specific point.

We're not talking about becoming a millionaire here, but having enough to live comfortably and saving some money for other purposes, such as travelling, emergency and so on.

This is an eternal debate that does not have a clear and unique solution for everyone. On the one hand, lack of money usually causes unhappiness, and going from not having much money to improving the economic situation usually brings happiness. On the other hand, the rich also cry. The point is that money usually helps to be happy but it is far from being the only thing to take into account.

Given that I have found our previous discussions useful, and your replies insightful and from a perspective at times opposite to my own, I'd be interested to hear your take on the charts I posted: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.57246150
Particularly the second chart, which demonstrates a process towards equalisation of happiness within a nation as per capita GDP increases. What do you think might account for this?

You do not need money to feel happy because it is about how you can control your emotion. But yes, with having money, you can feel happy and you can buy anything you want. But that does not mean that if you do not have money, you can not feel happy because if you are around people who love you more and love them, money will not feel too much.

Maybe it will depend on our perception of money and happiness and maybe we will have different things about that.

Money can satisfy most of your needs and wants, so it will make you happy. But there are some needs and wants that cannot be bought, for example, loving parents, a loving spouse, well behaved kids, friends, sense of accomplishment, etc. thus after you gain enough money, adding more won't increase your happiness.

There is a popular opinion in the locale that "A man who has money doesn't easily get angry or offended, lol".
Try to spill your drink to a VIP in a nightclub, let's see if the guy stops his bodyguard from beating you  Grin

Shitty person will become shittier if he has money. Money only enhances your inner personality.

I suddenly remembered a saying i had heard before,“Comparing to those rich people,i think we are happy, because our problems can be solved with money basically, while theirs can't be solved with money ”.
for those who have a low economy, money is their life savior...

schools, hospitals, rent, and food all cost money. without money you can't treat a sick family, without money you can't send your children to school and meet your daily needs. there is a saying 'money is not brought to death but no money our life like dead'

What is your opinion on the subject of "money & happiness"?

Happiness is subjective, some people are happy with non-material things and already contented with what they can afford. They don't get angry or jealous if someone close to them becomes successful hence they work hard to achieve what they want in life.

Money only gives us pleasure like what most of us feel when buying an item that we really want. When we found a better product, we are not happy anymore with what we currently have.

I know it is not proper to tie your happiness to finance, but i did some research into the subject and found a study that was conducted with the result that happiness increases with the amount of money one makes up until a point  where there is no greater degree of happiness from making money, but unhappiness if ones income drops beneath that range.

(See study here - https://www.cnbc.com/2017/11/20/how-much-money-you-need-to-be-happy-according-to-wealth-experts.html)

What is your opinion on the subject of "money & happiness"?

I quite agree with the existence of money is not everything but everything needs money. Happiness and money are two mutually supportive factors, where happiness without money is hypocrisy, even though there is happiness that money cannot buy. But at least money can complete the existing happiness. Can give, give charity and others
There are kinds of happiness mate , Happiness that contented in what he is seeing but  there is happiness inwhat he feels.

Money can bring for what we see, but our hearts can give in what we feel.

meaning Happiness and money connive in some instance but not in totality.
Yes, one of them is he can't bring the people we love back to life in the world. So how do we see what happiness is? From what angle do we look? Don't ever want to be enslaved by money. If that keeps happening, maybe we'll never meet true happiness.

What is your opinion on the subject of "money & happiness"?

There simply exist things around in life that we still see every day, everything is measured in money! Money is a "necessary" condition for happiness, and love is a "enough" condition. Of course, I agree that there are exceptions, but overall, happiness and money go hand in hand. It is a desire, a complete end to everyone's life that even I myself aspire to have.

OP ask yourself, what is happiness?
Isn't your child who smiles, this happiness? Where is the money hidden in his smile? Are your health and the health of your family, especially in the era of a pandemic, is it not happiness?
We put the definition of happiness incorrectly. You don't always need money to make you feel good. I will not refute them, they are only a part, but not the point. Not everything in this world can be bought. Having a lot of money, and a woman who is next to you only because of money, you will not be happy. There is no money, and there is no you as a person.
You need to be self-sufficient, and correctly define your values, which are much more than money.

By the way, the research that you cited by linking to the article is already 5 years out of date. People change, which means that opinions also change.
