of course it is possible. that's why governments are afraid of it being free on their country, they want to put regulations to it to prevent that kind of things happening freely. you can also add to that the most of the wallets out there are requiring some personal information to prevent money laundering on their platforms

Aside from fiat, cryptocurrencies like bitcoinis been used in money laundering and it is more difficult to trace by the government cyber enforcers. Money laundering that uses bitcoin is widespread in the so called deep web. This is one of the reasons why many governments are imposing regulation in the exchanges that operating in their countries.

Why are you asking this kind of stuff? This is not new, money laundering did not started with the born of bittcoin, it has been in here for more than 10's of years and you can not blame bitcoin because of that, better to inform you better.

That is totally true. Anyone who do money laundering will still get caught and time can only tell when. People who live in this kind of lifestyle will just up end jail because they eventuallyd won't stop on what they are doing so there is a very high chance that one day they will get exposed and also with their others crimes they have done in the past.

Yes it is possible. Money laundering is one of the reasons why the government forbids bitcoin. I think the person doing the money laundering is a negative person. So we can not blame the bitcoin because the wrong person is the individual. Keep positive thinking about bitcoin.

It very possible to launder money using bitcoin in fact bitcoin is the best tool for money laundering and that is one of the reasons most government and countries are against the idea of bitcoin and due to bitcoin being a decentralized currency it very hard or even impossible for it to be trace, so corrupt government officials will take advantage of that and use bitcoin to steal money out of they country without trace.

There are a lot of topics about "dirty money with bitcoin". Just think about it: Was there "money laundering" before bitcoin? Of course it was. Bad people always find a way to cover their dirty business. Paris SG gave 220 million euros for Neymar. Or all Chinese and Katar clubs big transfers. Do you really believe that? I can't. They are doing "money laundering" in front of all world. Of course it's possible money laundering with BTC as it's possible as many other ways.

Money laundering can be done with any asset. I got to say that since bitcoin is an asset, it is widely used by people to launder money. Money laundering is done by people who know the laws inside out as they are the ones who find loopholes in the existing system and take advantage of it.

Is it possible to do money laundering via bitcoin? I mean as no one knows if you have bitcoin and how much bitcoin do you actually own, it could be used to convert black money to white right? Or at least store your black money without much hassle. But there is the risk of its value but I think for people who have lots of black money and don't want to be caught, this risk might be worth taking for them isn't it?
What are your thoughts?

of course very possible, washing through bitcoin, because there is no government supervision of bitcoin so this could be one of the money laundering alternatives, need to be supervised by the government, so bitcoin can not be used as a money laundering tool of corruption

Bitcoin is anonymous and is not controlled by the Government or the Financial Organization. You can use bitcoin for I think bitcoin has great potential to be used as money laundering. In bitcoin transactions, no one will question the source of bitcoin funding. Unlike banks that have to ask the origin of the source of funds if one of the transactions using the bank. Naturally, this gap is huge for money laundering. In addition to the confidential identity information everyone makes the transaction difficult to trace

Of course it is possible to launder money via Bitcoin. Otherwise, Bitcoin cannot be considered the equivalent of a real currency, because the ability to launder money is a "feature" of every fiat currency.  Grin

I think bitcoin is a ground-breaking implies for us to submit illegal tax avoidance. Every one of the abilities of the bitcoin which obviously convolutes the experts.

If I were a corrupt official or led a non-legal business, I would conduct my operations exactly in bitcoins. Firstly, no one would know how much I earn, secondly, no one could take my money away from me. the only concern is high volatility, but this is temporary.

Yes,  money laundering in bitcoin is absolutely possible.  Some bitcoin user use bitcoin just for their money not to be traced as a money came from illegal activities because they can easily launder it in bitcoin. Well,  if you ask this and if someone say yes you will say bitcoin is a vehicle of criminals,  well that is where I will disagree with you. Please,  do not blame the vehicle,  blame the one who use that vehicle and in this case,  the criminal who do money launder here in bitcoin.

Well its possible but the problem is if you want a huge amount as this will subject you to KYC when trying to get some but if coins are already in your possession then its smooth sailing for you 😀 but I wouldn't advise you to do something illegal because the law never forgets your wrong doing; )
Yes, it's possible, even Indian politicians are laundering their illegal money, too.

Well, it is, and yes, it can be use to keep your money away from the eyes of many. But I think it won't be a good idea to make money laundering for the sake of keeping your money being taxed by the government. It would just make you violate a law, though they can't find your money now, but for sure in the future they will.

If I become rich and wealthy here in BTC I wouldn't hide it I make sure it goes to charity or make a program that help poor people a dignity will arise to all of us bitcoin users and believers.  If our profits is extra enough for our daily needs is better  I shared it with someone else who's did not know yet about bitcoin currency.

Money laundering is possible through Bitcoin. Because Bitcoin is a crypto currency. There is no control of the government of any country on this currency. Some people are taking advantage. And your black money is changing through bitcoin.
