Yeah, fair enough. I've lost 250 BTC in the last week bankrolling bustabit, taking 6 months of my income, so that +EV certainly doesn't come easy. But as people divest, it should increase the returns for people still in which I hope means it reaches a nice happy equilibrium. Also I think the vast majority of investors tend to over-invest, it really shouldn't an all-or-nothing proposition.
Moderation is key. I have a small percent of my holding invested in various sites. The only all in I have are DOGE at Peerbet and CLAM at JD. But that's because I just have them as speculative bets.
how well are these 2 site doing at the moment???
Peerbet is up about 48% in 13 months but value of Doge puts it in the negatives.
JD is up like 190% in a few months (I have about 3x starting amount).
Neither of these are representative of the future and both fluctuate.
understood. i am just looking to diversify my investment.
Keep in mind you add another layer of risk when dealing with alts, as well, so be careful.
yah but JD is something i quite trust last time. except peerbet which i never hear b4.
The site itself isn't the issue (I trust Dooglus immensely). It's CLAM. You need to keep in mind that BTC itself is risky. When you then move to an alt, you have an extra layer of risk (if BTC crashes, CLAM does. If CLAM crashes, BTC won't). So your risks are then:
1) The site
2) BTC
3) CLAM
Invest accordingly.
