An app owner has full control of the money that is deposited on their app, until it's been pulled back into the moneypot account. We authenticate the app using an app_secret, so if this ever gets leaked the person can make any API request on behalf of the app

This is really misleading the btc is never on an app or casino it's just a code stating that player has x amount on that app and when they return their btc to MP it's credited to their account. All money is entered and withdrawn from mp no app or casino ever has physical btc on it...

I'm not entirely sure they used the app_secret was leaked, unfortunately i don't log the authentication mechanism in the API. Either that, or all the betterbet's users access tokens.

I'm waiting on the betterbets developer to get online so we can discuss and finish piecing together exactly what happened

Sorry about that! Our bitcoin-core node keeps getting crashing. I'm having trouble figuring out why, disk usage is only 40% and it never uses more than half the memory. It's the latest version (0.11.0) too, and the logs don't contain anything interesting

I'll setup a cron job to reset it if it's down, and try figure out the root cause

im sure ryan is on top of things as we speak man. your coins will show up. ryan is not gonna steal from anyone he doesnt need to. just give it some time and im sure everything will work out

Yeah, looks like it. Went to sleep thinking I fixed it, but they just switched the vector a little. Give it another try, and with any luck you'll be able to get in (and if you do, the hot wallet has lots of funds).

Hopefully within the next 30m I'll have the situation under control again, and go back to sleep

Edit: We're back at full capacity once again. Time for more sleep =)
