It's sudden and shocking how the market lost billions to Corona virus. No one anticipated this would happen considering how few weeks ago we will riding through another bull run.

Coronavirus is a Black Swan event and we have to preparr for the worst, so it means that manage youur portfolio and avoid more losses by selling now and buying back when market behaves normally. I wouldn't be surprised if the price fell to 2000USD. Yes, it is possible, it is the lowest level from which bull market started, so why we couldn't back to it. For me it would be so nice because it will be the last opportunity to buy cheap.

There has been a lot of panic selling and it feels like we have been dragged back to more than a year when price fell to 6k but we should also know the opportunity that these crashes provide and i have seen many traders have already took their positions and are in profit  already so do not worry, i think new bull cycle will start after halving now.

it is true that I have been waiting for this year so that there is a significant rise in the price of bitcoin, but we are also more patient today in dealing with this epidemic, I hope that this virus outbreak can be overcome.

This will be a good lesson for you. Your expectations are faced with harsh reality and collapsed as always.
In fact, everything could be even worse, for example, if the Third World War had begun, it is not known what would happen to Bitcoin and the entire crypto market.

If this Coronavirus of a thing continues like this then do not expect anything good from Bitcoin halving in May or after May because it seems Bitcoin will keep going down from now on, damn no one saw this coming either way, I never expected a new virus to change the fate of Bitcoin and crypto market this year, the very year I've been waiting for, so sad  Undecided
Well it's not only the Bitcoin market per say. The stock market is crashing and even more, economies are affected, many things not going right and there is financial crisis. Nobody expected this blow, many people got liquidated on leverage trading, so sad. This dump is epic and will be recorded in history I presume. However, I think before halving all these will subside, I just hope so because if not we might not see any bull run.

From 1 week cryptocurrency is bleeding twice much. Although every time when cryptocurrency was bleeding, we have something to blame as now coronavirus. India lifts ban on crypto currency trading now several exchange has focus on this big market. As rules we will see some movement on crypto.

The turn out of event is just really unexpected, first was the Chinese New year, what was expected wasn't what happened as it has been other years, now the sudden dump in price of bitcoin which equally affected other altcoins, some how I am tempted to think otherwise about the halving, but I hope it plays out well as other halving years.

Do you think that it is just a coincidence? I mean market were really going down it is just that the virus itself became pandemic as well, that we think that it is the virus itself that cause it, I am just wondering. I certainly think that this virus plays a major role with this current market condition. But anyway, because if it really a coincidence, then this down market were really an organic one. Nevertheless, let us just hope that soon the corona virus get shut down, the infected people be cured, and the market to recover as well.

Well i have only one question left: "When Lambo?"  Grin Grin
It will never happen until bitcoin will be touching the next ATH again. The pandemic of coronavirus has already destroyed so many things and it was also putting global recession ahead of us. Just try to say that when crypto will be getting its momentum again and this time it's not the right time to say that at least not for this time.
Crypto is also facing a very difficult time and situation.

This pandemic is a 'black swan' for the cryptocurrency market, it is unpredictable situation. No one expected it. This industry has never faced something like that. So Bitcoin wasn't ready for Coronavirus outbreak, and it turned to be a collapse. What's about halving. It will lead to Bitcoin's positive price movement, but the crypto won't reach more than $13,000.

Lets just say this is an evaluation that people control the market. I would assume that urgent need for funds in fiat and the pandemic has caused great panic amongst holders.

Do we stick to our trade research and Information believes or flow with the present crisis??

Unfortunately, I have the same opinion, if everything will continue this way, then even bitcoin halving will not help bitcoin to grow in price this year and the entire cryptocurrency market may fall in several times, therefore we have to hope that soon everything will change for the better.
Yes, and today we can see that the market has started to fall very sharply, bitcoin and some of the top altcoins are also experiencing a very severe price decline, and I also hope that everything can be better next month, so that cryptocurrency can rise again this year.

At first I believe covid-19 is not the reason why the market is declining because this issue started last year but the price of btc still show growth specially early this year.

That is the reason why most of us assume halving can trigger another bull run to happen. But now it seems what we expected is not going to happen. Investors are in panic because of the covid-19, and I think the media has a big participation why people are in panic and worried for their welfare. But I know this issue will pass and everything will be back to normal we just need to be positive.

Exactly, whenever we see a negative trend most of the people will get into a panic and this makes many people start selling their asset, but one thing they should when we see downturn it is an opportunity given to us by the market. Yes, the media will pivotal role when we see a negative trend in the market, that's why we should be panic.

I am also disappointed at this situation which turns out to look like "intentionally made"

the stock market fell from 2018 and the crypto market also experienced the same trend. and when this corona causes a weakening global economy because all activities will be hampered, then the economy will fall and surely the crypto market will also fall. simply, when the situation gets worse, the purchasing power of crypto will decrease and the selling power of crypto will definitely increase. if that really happens, then we are reasonable if we don't expect too much from bitcoin halving, etherum 2.0 and so on.

I just hope that this conspiracy can be clearly expressed by the world and can be stopped so that there is no global economic crisis.

This is basically an uncontrollable event that will happen to any kind of business, crypto, stocks, every countries economy, anything can be affected in this kind of thing, I saw some converting their holdings to gold which is a safe move however not all can do that. So basically, we just need to wait until the time of recovery and let just say that this is the time to buy some more if you still have some capital to release.
