Unfortunately, its true. The alternative coins in the blockchain market is declining from several reasons. I think from this many alts become zero due to zero or insufficient funds they have; this indication is not good because it may bring some bad image in the entire community.
This is true and this is also a warning for our fellow altcoin investors. They should be strict on choosing the altcoin that they want to get invested because most of the altcoins are just good at their first quarter but after a months, they will start to lose motivation because of the dumps and the team will just abandon the altcoin like there is nothing happens.
Because there are so many coins now, of course there will certainly be coins that have no price or no volume. Because of course the project itself doesn't want the coin to develop. And that means it can't compete with other coins. Of course all will surely die if they cannot compete with others.
yes, I admit this really happened. ICOs who commit fraud make the ICO ecosystem so bad that it causes circulating altcoins to be useless and many people contribute without getting the right rewards.
Most of these coins were issued without any plans or objectives. They had no roadmap or had a fake one. Most of them were issued just to cash in selling ICO or premined coins.
BTC dominance is 52.2%, rest market is captured with Ethereum, litecoin, ripple. How can your expect lower grade altcoins to be worth at some value? The more BTC dominance increase they will shrink. Only if the tech behind them has some real use case scenarios then they will be getting a worthy price in market.

i think it is not dangerous.market just take a rest after in 2017 all cryptocurrency price rise extremely and hype soo high at that moment.correction was needed for market so it could create new high after this correction. Don't panic , and still hold your assets until the market will recover.

The market has never change, it's been like this in the past, it started to rise now and we will see first the major coins.
The trust of the investors are higher on major coins than new coins but they still have a chance as long as we see a good market overtime.
Yes you are right, I don't think they get much profit from making an ICO and if they do a promotion it will reduce the profits they will get, this is based on my personal assumptions. The top cryptocurrency value dropped dramatically I think the developer might not expect that the value will go down so far, this is aggravated by an ICO scam that makes investors less confident with the ICO and added regulations from several countries regarding ICO rejection.

Most ICO projects after finishing will be listed by the development team on tokens because this is the desire of investors. Most development teams will abandon their Altcoin as soon as no one wants to buy or sell it, which makes many Altcoins unable to liquidate or value zero. I can see that this is very bad and the development team of the ICO project only cares about investors' money and abandons the token they have created. 
While maybe ~90% of them are worth nothing I don't think that high of a percentage start out looking to abandon their chains. I mean legitimate alts not the daily popups. Many teams and creators simply don't have the funding, get discouraged, or have other personal reasons they can't fulfill their vision.

yeah most ICOs only work at the beginning, they only make the initial product and rarely do maintenance so that the product still has many shortcomings and it will have an impact on the interest of the product. so that the coin for the product will continue to drop to dead coin.

indeed, at the moment we can see there are a lot of useless alts, this failure due to the lack of developments made by project developers,

I definitely agree. There are dozens of useless altcoins in the market and they are worth zero, not more. But all the shitcoins will disappear and the rest will be enough for us already. I only buy reliable ALTs.
Recently getting the potential altcoins are risky. Getting any coins outside top coins is risky. So instead of profit we should turn towards trust. It will be more sad to lose remaining because of greed.

I think some alts not useful is time delete in market cap for me is too much more alts not working in the market, but is doesn't not mean most of them is worhless.
This is true and the more time passes the more chains will die off. However there is still always hype around new chains even if they are vaporware to begin with.
yes all of that we can see that many altcoins are worth zero. because the current situation is different from the past. so we certainly have to wait, hopefully the market can recover.
