this is a real fact, now there are a lot of altcoins from which the developers have officially refused but they are still traded on stock exchanges, and people do not care at all that the coin has no future.
I do not agree, many altcoins have a good working idea, team and money for development. Therefore, their tokens are worth something.
Unfortunately, the topic starter is right, as there are so many shitty and almost dead alts. I suppose today the coins which will be more than zero are the ones which have not only strong teams but the strong community support.

I would say that it depends from what side you would be looking, we all know some of the greatest projects on the alternative cryptocurrencies stage, that are just mind blowing. And they have a good price.

That are only called as shit coins because it launched through scam project and some investors are investing on these type of coins. I don't know why they don't study project before joining or investing? is time is the reason? But there are some altcoins which is real but it did not promote after its launch.
I think that the altcoins right now are very unpredictable. They are growing very quickly. See, you will see so many kinds of altcoins in this crypto world. It leads to infleunce the rate of the altcoins itself. For some altcoins, they may be still good because they have a good concept. But, for most similar projects, they may be collapsed. therefore, just be smart to decide whcih promising coin is for the future.

All coins are worth what someone will pay for them. While many coins will ultimately prove to be worthless, it's really important they ultimately have some sort of utility and a working product. Many of the coins right now are either associated with early stage development products or are total scams.

I'll echo what alot of people said here, alt coins dev teams that are quietly developing unique and useful features while still keeping the coin afloat in this market are the ones that once the bull market comes will benefit greatly from larger investors, good solid tech coin are worth holding for sure
Even with the fact that many coins do not have growth in the market, since their projects have not been successful and do not develop, I still believe in this industry because there are also very good projects that have prospects for development and can bring us a lot benefit.
The value of many Altcoin are combination of developers work and weeks, months and years of continuous development and community support. It will be not be accurate to say most Altcoin are worth nothing.
This is not true, only those which have no product are now on the ground. There is no way to see good altcoins being dead at the moment, take in consideration EOS, ADA, Stellar, those all are bullish and we are on a bear market right now.
if btc falls to the ground ofcourse the price of the altcoins will certainly go down
