Gambling addiction shouldn't be blamed on the person who introduced gambling because it's a personal choice. Anyone can listen to gambling introductions but it is our personal perspective whether to gamble responsibly or fall for gambling addiction. If we are influenced by gamblers, it doesn't mean that we have to be compulsive gamblers. We still have a choice to control ourselves and have the proper mindset toward it.
I used to be addicted to gambling and I couldn't control it. So what is felt is that actions that are carried out repeatedly will form character. if gambling is done continuously it will become a character and what happens to the psychology of the player is to feel comfortable when playing even though they already know for sure they will lose, people who are affected by this disease are mentally damaged and have a mindset which causes addiction to playing gambling.

If you are already addicted, the way to overcome it according to my experience is to change your mindset. For example, diverting the concentration of thinking to positive things but what the patient's soul likes, for example, I like sports, when playing sports, I forget to gamble. So this is the best way I can do it.

Gambling is actually not a problem as long as it is done for fun and can be controlled. It is true that the OP said that it is better not to introduce gambling to relatives or close friends who cannot control their finances.

A person who is desperately in need of money can do anything to get money. Gambling is a shortcut to money and many fall for this trap.
So people who are desperately in need of money will easily get addicted to gambling.

How can "losing self control" be a choice when it's happening without the individual's choice?
A person who is unable to control himself isn't doing it by choice. He/She is just falling for it without any self control and without any choice.
Example: A smoker who wants to quit smoking but is unable to do it because of his addiction.
He wants to quit smoking by choice but we know how strong an addiction can be. Same goes to gambling addiction.

Gambling is not a shortcut to money, but an entertainment that constantly requires money! If a person does not understand this, it is better not to talk to him about gambling at all and to protect him from gambling experience, because most likely the wrong idea about gambling will lead to his problems. In order to gamble, you must have not only free money, but a sufficient level of self-control.

it's useless to say that most of the times they are just advertising a scam site or trying to earn few bucks with their referral Wink in any case, avoid to join if you're not sure what you're doing.
Fact that everyone have right to a decision makes it easy for us to overlook some things, with basic skills and experience we should be able to differentiate between legit and scam project no matter who is promoting them.

-one of the ways to avoid drama is to make your own decision and don't get carried away with others' points of view or sweet stories, and most importantly we should avoid being greedy since greed has become the major cause of addictions lately.
From having experience and skills we can make the right decisions and it is impossible to fall for scam projects, all legitimate and good projects should have a manager or a person with a good reputation who will manage or promote them.
Don't get me wrong, friends, we can also use experiences and stories from other people as a consideration or reference so that we don't make the wrong decision.
That's why many other users often warn that every gambler can control himself so that he is not controlled by emotion and greed which makes a person easily become a gambling addict.

I see any indisciplined man as one of those that constitute gambling addiction, if a gambler can not exercise caution or moderacy in gambling, then he begin to behave abnormally and the negative impact from gambling begin to manifest over such individual, some of them end up in lack, while some loose focus from getting concentrated on their life ambition and career pursuit, gambling is fundamentally for having fun, once the agenda goes beyond this, a thorough care is needed.

I think most gamblers at some point might  fall into either of this categories of persons you mentioned above and I just want to appreciate the effort you put into writing tis article and basically people have to be careful of persons they introduce new things to and I do solemnly agree with you when you said that very one because at some point oke might be blamed or held responsible for introducing it to someone.
I always make sure to look out for whoever I introduce gambling to because I know of the consequences involved with gambling.
I also agree with the fact gambling shouldn't be introduced to underaged as even all casinos warm against such.

to be honest, I am an introvert who is more often alone when gambling and does not care about wanting to tell about gambling or introduce gambling to other people, even if they are close friends.
to me gambling is like a vice that doesn't need to be introduced to others and my choice is to shut myself off not to introduce gambling to those around me.
yes maybe my wife knows I gamble but I never introduced this gambling to her instead my wife always gives good advice to always be wise in betting. and some close friends accidentally saw me while gambling and he asked me to introduce gambling to him but I always said no, this is not good.

so anyone who accidentally sees me gambling, I will always say the same thing that I said before.

It's somewhat pointless to let us know if we should be careful to introduce someone into gambling, because the huge influence make people to gamble is come from gambling influencer, not a common gambler. Usually a real gambler will not want to invite their friend to gamble to because there's a personal reason or there's no point to invite them. If someone invite you to join gambling, it's high likely he will ask you to sign up with his referral link.

It's funny but it's true, most of the time it's about the referral link. I think why common gamblers may not invite their friends to play as well is because they know the feeling of being too invested in gambling. They may not want to involve their friends in their gambling activities as they may not want to encourage them to experience the same as well.

Well, we live in a world where everything can be seen online if we have basic knowledge and skills. As a gambler for many years already, I am always very careful in introducing betting to people, especially the ones that I feel struggling financially and less educated. At least educated people that are seemingly fine with their financial situations can afford some amounts to entertain themselves in casino games and the thrill when they are betting on their favorite sports, leagues, teams, and athletes.

I never have a courage to introduce gambling to someone I know regardless of it’s mental and financial condition because I know what’s the effect of gambling when a person can’t handle it. I think gambling shouldn’t be introduced to someone that you knew personally to avoid conflicts in the future in case shit happened to them.

I know a lot of stories about successful and rich person that become devastated when they started playing gambling. Addiction can’t be controlled once our mind is hooked on chasing profit/losses.

Yeah. Inviting friends or relatives to gamble can be risky financially because there is always the possibility that they could lose money and be unable to pay it back. This could strain relationships and cause tension which are things that we won't like to happen.

As much as possible I don't share or introduce gambling to anybody even to my close friends or family members simply because I don't want to be blamed in case they fall for gambling addiction. I know how risky and addictive gambling is so I don't want them to fall for it. I don't even share my winning stories because they might only misinterpret them.
It's fine if we want to introduce gambling to someone but we shouldn't forget to inform them about the risks so they would know how to control themselves.

I don't request loans~

Or just, idk, don't introduce gambling in general. I mean I know myself it isn't a bad activity when you're in control, but in general it is viewed as a vice after all.

I certainly haven't tried inviting one to a gambling den/casino, but I have done some simple friendly bets with my friends. All in all it wasn't a bad influence, even with money involved but that's because there was a factor of fun involved. I highly doubt things would be the same if it wasn't fun, so really, unless they really enjoy gambling or something similar to it, I wouldn't introduce them to casinos.

For the category of people most likely to become addicts to gambling that I quoted, check well, there was always a source link and reference that I attached at the end of it, That is the first and second category that I talked about, look well.

For the other categories, that is the third to sixth option, they were listed out from observation.

I also indulged other forum members to add to the list from their observation.

In summary, just don't introduce it to anyone that you know that are not capable of controlling their emotions because you'll never know on up to what point they can control themselves.

Because the time might even come that you'll be the one to be blamed by those people whom you've introduced gambling. That's not a new story and there have been cases like that they were blamed and made it looked bad because they've just introduced those addicted gamblers to gambling.

Avoid being the trigger of others that may fall into gambling addiction if you don't want to get involved and be blamed for.
There are lots of categories, but I think this is the one that's on the top in terms of who you shouldn't introduce gambling for.

We already know that people who are full of emotions often loses their money whether it's on gambling, or trading etc. Traders who are full of emotion most of the time ending up losing their money. On the other hand, those people who want to gamble that are also full of emotions lost their money all the time. People with full of emotions might make some bad decisions that would make their current situation even worse. Some even go to a point where they will borrow money into their family members.

This is also the reason why I'm not introducing gambling to anybody. I'm not gambling that much, but I'm afraid that whenever I introduce gambling to other people, there might be a chance that they will get addicted, and for sure I will blame myself if something bad happens to that person which will cause a domino effect on me.

You are absolutely right. Introducing someone to gambling has a negative and positive impact. The negative impact is that the person might get addicted after winning in his or her first game maybe by luck while forgeting that gambling has ups and down, there is every tendency that he will gamble more for wins.
And if he looses, definitely he won't give up, he would want to recover his loose.
Someone who is easily influenced by friends can also be a gambling addict.
Someone who lacks self discipline, who dont have self control can easily fall in the trap of gambling addiction.
I agree, but then we are partially responsible if something happens to him. It will be our conscience if he will soon be addicted to it but then we need also to tell him that he need to be responsible enough to his expenses so that there will be no problem in the future. I started gambling because someone teaches me and I will make sure that whatever may happen in the future I will not blame my friend for teaching me to gamble.
