The popularity of bitcoin is not wide as of this time most of the people does not aware of crypto currency I think that's the reason why bitcoin value is not that high and just starting to appreciate because it depends on the demand of people
there is still few people know about bitcoin even in big city which have good technology and good internet connection. maybe they don't really know about what is new technology so they are not searching. there are many online store is not trying yet to accepting bitcoin as payment but the others store online is started to accepting bitcoin.
Bitcoin can draw attention of people only if it starts getting accepted at physical shops, malls or restaurants as the percentage of people who goes for offline shopping are higher in compare to that of online shopping so if people will come across that bitcoin is accepted as a mode of payment then will start to research about bitcoins and it will also create an awareness level in them.

I think there is a lack of advertisement. As bitcoin is decentralized asset. Nobody care about making it more famous or putting any effort at high scale to advertise it. This restrains the growth as nobody is going to know about it naturally. Most of the people aren't even aware of it existence. This trend can only change if there is some large scale campaign to make Bitcoin popular. Might we in this forum can try something in that direction. hero member

Bitcoin around the world, that's right. Bitcoin in the community, I do not think so. Actually there are still many people who do not know and understand using bitcoin. As for the store or restouran way of payment using bitcoin only in certain cities, and even not much. For me personally hope bitcoin can be more popular again, and there will be many stores that way of payment using bitcoin, because it will facilitate payment of bitcoin users.
Every new innovation needs time to be accepted widely by people. Bitcoins have best technology so far and are successful in attracting big traders and markets. With time, their popularity will increase pushing their common use. We just need to be little patient to witness all this.

What you are saying is true and even it will be more soon recognized if it gets legalized as most of the traders are not accepting bitcoin as it is not legalized and tax status is pending. Once it gets legal status then you can see the growth of bitcoin very fast.

I agree with you. In my local area, there is no store or shop that accept bitcoin. Most of the people know about bitcoin but only a few of them truly invest their money in it. And investors are the one who put most of their money in bitcoin. Many bitcoiners only care about the profit they have and they sell all of their bitcoin whenever they have a chance

Because it is not yet legal to most of the countries. And the legalization will be the way for the retailers to recognize what Bitcoin is. Or if it will be demanded by their customers. That's the advocacy of Bitcoin, which is to ebcourage more people, organizations and companies to invest, use and be one of the Bitcoin community to make its demand higher. If we will be able to encourage more people, it will be more popular to the market.

That's why we need to encourage more people into Bitcoin. If more people will be awared om the advantages of Bitcoin and how profitable it is, its demand will increase. And in the line with that, it will be recognized by the locals, retailers, companies and the likes that will lead for Bitcoin to be accepted as a currency once proven that it is potent enough.
There are 8 billion people living day after day and working hard outside of the internet in the real world and only less than a billion other people are active internet browsers, from this 1 billion people only half truly need something like Bitcoin, a decentralized currency and half of them yet are unaware of it for now, there are currently less than 100 million people engaged and invested in crypto and yet look at the prices, they're skyrocketing.

Full adoption can take 5-10 more years. But people still use it to transfer funds easily and quickly. There is continuous money flowing in from investors as well, adoption will happen. Technology only gets better over the years. bitcoin is still a new thing to many, it will be amazing to see how it evolves from here on as this year it got the most publicity and hype. Also the entire market cap is still undervalued by a ton.

Totally agree with this, just imagine if bitcoin spread out through out the world. People would panic and would want to learn how to earn BTC, the competition on earning bitcoin would be too high. The tendency is, earning through bitcoin would be lesser.
