He was in the fire for around 32 seconds or something.  32 seconds!  The crash helmet prolly saved him from breathing the heat, fumes and smoke.  You guys know what happened to Niki Lauda.

Probably the halo saved his life not for the hurting something but for avoiding the blackout.
If he got a blackout he probably died yesterday, there is no way they could bring him out from the fire in 20-30 seconds and saving his life.

Anyway, the important thing is that he is still here, do you think he will race this weekend?

It is possible he has nothing broken, his hands are injured but we don't know how much and the race will be in the same track, so I think it is possible.

I think that the halo saved his life and this is the comment of many F1 personalities which I agree with.I think the race will be in Bahrain again but in the oval circuit they say so I am not sure if it will be the same track.I don’t think Grosjean will be able to race this weekend but I hope he does.

And a breaking news Hamilton is positive with Covid so will miss this weekend race, news from official F1 page in Instagram.

Amazing accident, and the fast fire ball  Shocked Shocked. And i wonder about the manly fire at the monocoque and not at the other part of the car? Grosjean have many luck, many years ago then we see such accidents at Formula1.

I think he was lucky that it happend within the first round so the medical car was that fast at the incident place. If it happend in the second round, things had been worse.

He is "ok" now, he posted a video on his Instagram and he didn't lose his sense of humor, he seems he got "only" his hands burnt

It was truly a miracle. The car literally broke in two, if it had not crashed on the guardarail, at that speed, he would have surely died. His promptness saved him, with the fact that he was not unconscious in the car. Fortunately his wounds will be healed soon

He's a very good driver. It's crazy that he might not even get a contract anywhere for next year. He's a lot better than some of the other drivers around. He's fifth in the championship, but if it wasn't for bad luck he'd be a long way clear of the others in fourth place. I think as it stands Red Bull is his only option... surely they won't stick with Albon next year?!?

To be a better driver than other don't give the spot alone in the F1.
Often mediocre divers have a spot only because they bring a lot of money with sponsorship.
But not only this some drivers have a huge salary and teams can't pay them, for example, Alonso this year probably is a better driver than Latifi but Williams can't pay his salary...

Even if Alonso came to Williams with the pace of the car he would only complain like he did in McLaren in the year 2015.He will be driving Renault next year and we will see how it goes,it is always great when a driver of his calibre will be back racing in an average team like Renault.

Thankfully, Haas' accident had no serious consequences. Not even a fracture for Grosjean, only abrasions and burns. Meanwhile, Ferrari was awful. On the straight it did very badly, being overtaken by everyone, and it will certainly be even worse next week with the longer straights.

Yes but to be honest that barrier was badly placed, I mean it was too close to the track and also is not the best material for the F1.
Anyway, he got incredibly lucky to save his life.
I agree. I don't think that car is supposed to stuck in barrier like Romain's car did. And probably most barriers should be made from tyres to absorb hit and reduce impact.

And don't forget that he missed 2 races because of Covid. It's sad that he still don't have seat in F1 for next season. He would be perfect choice for Red Bull with hid experience and rich sponsors. Albon isn't doing very well this season in general without few excpetions. So far he isn't good enough to be in Red Bull, but I eould like to see him in F1 - he isn't bad driver. He just have some bad luck and can't handle pressure - same like Gasly did in Red Bull.

How pity race ended for Perez. He had almost guaranted 3rd place, but his engine failed few laps before finnish.

enormous progress has been made in terms of safety, but today was an absurd event, the car broke in half, also had a good dose of luck because after seeing the car the accident occurred by Alex Zanardi in F Indy.

I saw a print of the images from the tv and Roman's hands looked very burned, so far no news, they just say read burn

For the race as an expected easy win for Mercedes, I mean for Hamilton, Bottas is a weak driver as I always said.

Ferrari's nerfed engines can't do anything in this kind of track, freezing the engines progress is a so stupid rule.

Yes, it's unbelievable that he could manage to just walk away from that. Incredible work by the FIA and by those who pushed so hard for the halo system to be adopted... there can be zero doubt now about its effectiveness.
That said, accidents like this shouldn't happen. I'm sure there will be a huge investigation into this, particularly with the next race being at the same track.

How pity race ended for Perez. He had almost guaranted 3rd place, but his engine failed few laps before finnish. It's huge blow for Racing Point in fight for 3rd place in constructors championship. While Mclaren took a lot points and now just 5 points behind Racing Point.
Safety car saved 5th place for Gasly, because it was only matter of time when Ricciardo would have overtaken him. Though, seems that bottom of Ricciardo car was damaged.
Another bad race for Bottas. I just don't get his strategy with 4 pit stops.
Albon didn't made anything special today, but achieved very important 3rd place for him.
The accident of Roman Grosjean from today was the worst I've ever seen in the last 20 years of watching F1. The fact that he survived and walked away on his own legs is really a miracle and all thanks to the halo system. It was horrific to watch and accident and I what was even shocking it was the explosion right after the barrier hit.

I'm so glad he is well and he only was minor burns on his hands and ankles.
I must admit that I didn't liked Halo initialy, but today it saved life of Grosjean. It's scary to imagine what consequences would be without it - his car basically stuck between barriers. It's incredible how he walked from big fire on his own feets like Terminator.
Level of safety in current F1 is amazing

The level of security in F1 is in the highest level possible.I thought some damage would happen to Grosjean after seeing the car going on fire but I saw many times the replay and it showed that Grosjean got out of the car by himself and then came the stewards with the water. The race will be delayed at least 45 minutes from the announcement of Race Control.I predict this race to be a hot one after the restart as no driver is under any pressure now that the Champion and Team constructors titles have been awarded.

It's incredible that Grosejean survived this awful crash and he more or less OK after it. Nothing left from his car.
But I don't understand why was on fire, especially considering that fuel tank is in back part of car.

They are censuring the images of Grosjean's accident, he was a ball of fire.

Worst accident of years.

He is now ok, but OMG

The car has to be cut in half.

IDK if they can repair the track so the race may be deleted.
