^  That could only mean one thing.  One goes to the other and the other one goes to the opposite direction.  I don't mind it.  Curious to see how Vettel does at Merc.  A German driver at a German team under a German team principal.  Grin

What would be the point of making this swap?
And apart from that, it would not be any good progress for Hamilton being in the same team with Leclerc. The young driver was to be the number 1 driver in Ferrari and if Hamilton joins them, he will never be.

As I told a few months ago...
Ferrari is trying to get Lewis Hamilton in 2021.

https://www.gazzetta.it/Formula-1/30-11-2019/ferrari-hamilton-mercato-piloti-2021-3501505658755.shtml

In 2020 the Vettel contract will be over as the Hamilton contract with Mercedes.
Adding the fact that in 2021 we will have the revolution for cars, it will be a good chance for the swap.

If Max gets a qualification above them, then it would be very difficult to overcome him on the race.

I look forward to watch it as many drivers will drive without any objective so it will be a fun race to watch.

I don’t expect Ferrari drivers will try to overtake anyone especially after what happened in the last race, but I’m hoping they can put their differences aside and secure a win here. @swogerino I’m having the opposite feeling that this race will be a dull affair as there’s nothing at stake here, but let’s hope I’m wrong and there’s some more drama in the final race.

So we are heading towards the end of the F1 season.
What is would be interesting in this race would be how Ferraris are going to react and if they will be able to capture the 3rd place from Max.
If Max gets a qualification above them, then it would be very difficult to overcome him on the race.

I remember Lewis Hamilton in Mclaren times when he was driving for McLaren that overtaking is quite possible in this track it just needs a skillful driver.Thank God nowadays we have plenty of skilled F1 drivers which will make this last race beautiful to watch on Tv.I look forward to watch it as many drivers will drive without any objective so it will be a fun race to watch.

I was no talking about the level of teams in the championship.

I was talking about the GP where is almost impossible to overtake.

Besides that yeah the end of the season is often the funnier part of the season.

^  The only time F1 isn't boring is when the season starts.  Lots of excitement with the new cars or what the table might start to look like...  Then you get to a point when you start to realize that it's gonna be the same all over again.  Merc, Ferrari, RBR.

I didn't mind when it was RBR dominating tho.  Vettel's finger.  Grin

Anyway, I'm gonna ask FJ to come up with a game for F1 next season and make it less boring for us.  Lol.  Maybe even get more people into it.

It goes every year a little more worse with Vettel. Won't be suprised if he stops after this or maybe next season.

Maybe Vettel needs a change and leaving Ferrari as he has tried for several years with them without any success story.I think he would be better at another team but this is difficult as all the good teams have already signed drivers for the upcoming year so most probably the upcoming year will be the last year at Ferrari for him.
Yeah, he will have to stay in Ferrari and wait until his contract will expire. Now only Williams don't have drivers for upcoming season. But then, I'm not sure where he can go. Mercedes? No way! Maybe comeback to Red Bull? But it would be against Red Bull strategy to develop their own young drivers. Mclaren? Maybe, but seems that they are confident about them long term project with Norris and Sainz. I'm not even talking about other teams like Renault or Racing Point.
Maybe he should try himself in other Racing series like Le Mans, Indycar or even Dakar (like Alonso)?

And if he leaves where should he go?
There are not competitive teams with no first driver at this time. The only team that he might join is McLaren, but the car is not so strong. He will be a middle class driver then fighting to be on the podium in every race. If that would be the case, he should better retire.

^  Do you guys remember what happened to Webber when Vettel rose the ranks at RBR?  Grin  Same thing that's happening to him now at Ferrari.  What goes around come around, I guess...

True. As you can see Mercedes and Redbull have stated who is the 1st driver in the team.
In Ferrari I think that it is mostly Vettel's fault due to his bad performance this season Leclerc thought that he is the first driver in the team and this conflict arose.
Given that, Max is going to take the 3rd place in the Championship due to the conflict in Ferrari.

Binotto (Leader of Ferrari Sport) spoken yesterday with "we will do something important with drivers".

Today Elkan, leader of FCA spoken: "The Ferrari comes before drivers".
What do you think they will do with them??
I mean, I don't think they can fire them, for sure they cannot fire LeClerk, I have some doubt on Vettel but if they want to fire him they need to pay a lot of money (for sure) to him.

Ferrari handled the issues between their drivers so badly from the beginning of the season.
They had to declare who is the 1st driver and who is the 2nd one in the team. They didn't when we were early in the season and now they got the negative impacts of this mismanagement.

I don't think that Leclerc is going to be fired. Neither Vettel...

It's difficult situation for Ferrari and it's hard to say what decision would be best for them. Firing one of drivers doesn't looks like a best solution currently. And it's obvious that none of them would agree to be 2nd driver, their ambitions is just too big. Team had serious talk with drivers after race, but I doubt that it helped much, because tension between them is big.
There was many similar cases like Senna and Prost, Webber and Vettel, Alonso and Hamilton and such thing never ended well for the team.

Cool cool...  Let's bet on something again next year.  Smiley
For sure! Wink

LTU_btc, post or pm me your BTC address...  We don't need to wait til the end of the season.  RBR's not gonna get enough points to top Ferrari at the table anyway.

And yup...  LOL_Ferrari.
I can confirm that I received BTC from you.
Thanks, mate!

The Ferraris have always been a team not setting good standards and by this I mean that sometimes they gave team orders which favored one driver over another. This was not permitted back then and I don’t think it is now although many teams still do it.This bad standard was set by Ferrari.
If they let Vettel go I wonder which driver is gonna replace him and immediately give to Ferrari the boost they expect.

@coinlocket$ Ferrari should fire Vettle, and set an example to thier other drivers i.e. they need to perform or simply perish. There’s also no doubt that Vettle has been underperforming for quite a while now, and Ferrari would be better off without him. Indeed Vettles severance package will be huge, but if they don’t set an example now none of their drivers will take them seriously hence they need to take a bold decision and let Vettle go.
