@coinlocket$. However, there were 2 racing incidents where the stewards were very permissive on Charles Leclerc. They might have given him 1 penalty if it was not the Italian grand prix, I reckon.

I predict Sebastian will retire after this year. He is not happy.

I have a same feeling that Leclerc should have been given 1 penalty. Mostly why the the incident with Hamilton, but that's racing.
Vettel is so bad and he does so many mistakes. He should better retire...

Leclerc did nothing wrong and that is normal racing conditions what happened yesterday, even Hamilton himself did not complain and congratulate Leclerc. Now Leclerc made two legendary track wins in a row and I think he has the potential to fight for the title next year as this one was a learning year for him in Ferrari.

Meh, the same happened 2 months ago between him and Verstappen and Max got no penalty.

But in this track DRS have minimal impact and Ferrari was faster than Hamilton and Bottas in the straight.

Not really, The DRS is strong even here but the strength of Ferrare is the top speed and this is a problem on this kind of tracks.

Keep also in mind that Ferrari used setup to be fast on sector 1 and sector 3 where the max speed is important and Mercedes used setup to be strong in sector 2, where the turns are.

For this reason, Mercedes can't compete with Ferrari even if they are behind with the DRS enable.

A star is born and his name is  Charles LeClerc.

Now the question is, does Ferrari will keep Sebastian Vettel next year? Probably yes but... (I like Norris, a lot but I think an experienced drivers is needed)

It was another interesting race to watch. Ferrari achieved first victory in Monza since 2010 and it was second win for Leclerc in a row. Ferrari had interesting strategy - when they put medium tyres on Leclerc, I thought it's only matter of time when Lewis will overtake him with medium tyres. But in this track DRS have minimal impact and Ferrari was faster than Hamilton and Bottas in the straight. And again, we saw another total failure of Vettel...

The weather expected for tomorrow is rain till 2 hours before the race so they think it will be a dry race

I don't remember the last time I watch a rainy F1 race. I really wish tomorrow is raining or at least the circuit is wet so it will be more interesting because it will be a flag-to-flag race.

And damn, can't wait for the next GP race.

I assume that you don't watch F1 consistently.
The German grand prix happened with rain and it was absolutely amazing.

Incredible pole position from Leclerc.
Just 0.039 seconds ahead of Hamilton!
Tommorow's grand prix is going to be amazing. I think it is time for Mercedes to get back the first position.

This should be a race only for Ferrari and Mercedes HOWEVER THE weather is very variable this week here in Italy.

@coinlocket$ this year too Hamilton will be winning it, as Vettle is out of form and I don’t think any other driver will be able to challenge him.

Not sure about that.

On this track as the last one (Pure motor power tracks) Ferrari is very strong.

FP1 FP2 FP3 went with a Ferrari on Top position, pole position is in 15 minutes, let's see what happens.

For sure it will be a fan GP to watch also tomorrow can rain again here in Italy, and if il will rain Verstappen will do an amazing comeback from last position (penalty)

Interesting headline was in my local paper. Roughly translated it something like this "Leclerc is faster again is it time for him to start battle for title".

Interesting was this headline, firstly point difference is more the 100 point, no way with only 8 races to. Only if Lewis dont finish 2 races then it could be interesting and for all 8 to win Leclerc. Todays qualifying will be interesting five drivers can be in pole spot, and they announced that we could expect rain today and tomorrow.

@slocker which newspaper published it can you share the link, also it’s too late for Leclerc to challenge for the title now maybe next season he’ll be able to give some competition to Hamilton. Which five drivers have they mentioned because I feel only Hamilton can clinch the pole position, but it’ll be interesting if someone else can beat him for first spot.

Finally Ferrari and Leclerc got their fist win!
Really happy for what Charles achieved... Again Vettel had an awful race, as Ferrari's strategy was so bad for one more race.
RIP Antoine Hubert... So young and so talented, he will be always remembered...

I am also glad for Leclerc first victory and what a first victory an awesome one in the most legendary F1 Spa track.
Leclerc has shown signs of his speed and determination since the first races but the lack of experience with a big team like Ferrari kept him away from victory until now.I think a great career awaits him.

Monza is a track that is a good fit for Ferrari.
This weekend would be promising for them. I love the fact that rain is involved during the practice. I think that we are going to see another incredible race this weekend.

Difficult season makes Valentino Rossi rumored to be retiring. Not a surprise for the Yamaha Energy Monster racer.

The Italian rider was already 40 years old in 2019. Had started the MotoGP season quite positively - two runners-up in the first three series - Rossi then got results that were not good enough.

I think that it is time for Rossi to retire.
He is too old for this sport and the results do not come positively as you said.
I hope that Yamaha will keep him in the team in a more managerial position. It would be a good marketing move by them as well.

No applause for Alex Albon? He also had a good race starting from 17th and to finish on 5th. I reckon that new Redbull spec4 engine might do more in the hands of Max Verstappen in Italy hehehe.

He seems to be more confident than Gasly with Redbull.

Bigger applause should be done for Norris, I really like him he was 5th till the last lap before engine problems.

He will be one of the top drivers after the Hamilton-Vettel era with Max and James.

Agreed. Who is James, however? Charles LecLerc?

In any case, Redbull will begin installing Max Verstappen's car with the spec4 engine for the Italian grand prix, which will also give him a penalty. However, he might be a good bet for the Singapore race hehehe.

I would bet on Verstappen a small amount even if he gets a penalty and will start in the back of the grid because this upcoming is another legendary track with a Safety Car almost guaranteed to be in especially in the beginning of the race, rarely I have seen a start of the race without incidents in Monza Gp.

Yes could place bet for safety car on this race  Grin. Almost certain it will be.
On this track think we will see all 3 major team in fight for the pole. But think that Lewis, LecLerc and Max will battle for that pole.
