Started from 17th?
Didn't he start from the 10th position?
I thought that he started 10th.

He started from 17th. If you need some proof, here's one[1].

He made some right moves too. He did at least two overtake from the grass — very aggressive moves.

No applause for Alex Albon? He also had a good race starting from 17th and to finish on 5th. I reckon that new Redbull spec4 engine might do more in the hands of Max Verstappen in Italy hehehe.

He seems to be more confident than Gasly with Redbull.

Bigger applause should be done for Norris, I really like him he was 5th till the last lap before engine problems.

He will be one of the top drivers after the Hamilton-Vettel era with Max and James.

Agreed. Who is James, however? Charles LecLerc?

In any case, Redbull will begin installing Max Verstappen's car with the spec4 engine for the Italian grand prix, which will also give him a penalty. However, he might be a good bet for the Singapore race hehehe.

I would bet on Verstappen a small amount even if he gets a penalty and will start in the back of the grid because this upcoming is another legendary track with a Safety Car almost guaranteed to be in especially in the beginning of the race, rarely I have seen a start of the race without incidents in Monza Gp.

Albon was on that race driver of the day. For me he did awesome test and driving skill are better with better car and that is most important. He prove that he has skill needed for driving in Red Bull team and with that result he prove that. He is probably in next few years with Leclerc and Max one of pretenders for championship titles in upcoming years.

I think the applause is deserved for him considering it was his first race with Red Bull and it was in a very difficult track like Spa.He did very well and did one of the best overtakings against a Renault if not the best of all time.Truly a masterpiece of an overtake.

Finally Ferrari and Leclerc got their fist win!
Really happy for what Charles achieved... Again Vettel had an awful race, as Ferrari's strategy was so bad for one more race.
RIP Antoine Hubert... So young and so talented, he will be always remembered...

I am also glad for Leclerc first victory and what a first victory an awesome one in the most legendary F1 Spa track.
Leclerc has shown signs of his speed and determination since the first races but the lack of experience with a big team like Ferrari kept him away from victory until now.I think a great career awaits him.

I predict Sebastian Vettel's retirement after this season. Charles is younger, faster and the more exciting driver. Ferrari will certainly begin favoring him.

This is very hard for Sebastian because he knows this feeling. He did something similar to Mark Webber in Redbull when he was young.

Yeah, Leclerc deserved his first career win today. He had some bad luck earlier this season, but finally everything went as he planned. But if race would be few race longer, Lewis probably would have finished first. Congrats to him. @coinlocket$, it's difficult question who is better, I think they're at very similar level. Seb is still ahead Charles in drivers championship.
And what a debut race in Red Bull for Alex Albon - started P17, finished P5. Meanwhile Gasly and Kvyat are also fighting hard for spot in Red Bull - both finished in points, it was good race for them.
And what a disaster for Lando Norris - he was 5th at start of final lap and then his car breakdown. Sad for this guy.

What a race for LeCrerc, as Hamilton said he deserved the win, after all, he showed during the season.

After Lewis, I think he will be the contender of the future titles with Max Verstappen.

The question is now, Is Leclerc better than Vetter or he only more confidable with this version of the car?

Maverick Vinales is not too impressed with the new Yamaha motorbike components for 2020. According to him, Yamaha will not be able to compete with Honda and Ducati. "His new motorbike will not put us at the level of Honda and Ducati, and Rossi basically has the same thoughts as me about this," Vinales said reported by GPOne.

Horrible news in motorsport world - F2 driver Anthoine Hubert died after crash during F2 race in Spa:
https://www.motorsport.com/fia-f2/news/hubert-spa-francorchamps-fatal-crash/4526124/
He was just 22 years old... Despite all these security improvements, this tragedy reminds us that motorsport is still very dangerous sport.
RIP, Anthoine Hubert...

I just saw this, I was deliberately avoiding all race news so I could watch a bunch of stuff I had on my DVR without knowing what happened earlier.
I started to watch and read some race sites and saw this Sad

But yeah, you are correct, no matter how much safety is improved its still dangerous.

Hamilton just destroyed his car on barriers on last practice's session.

Let see if they can repair it before the qualify, they have only 2 hours, if he has broken something on the electrical part, I doubt they can repair in time.
